"Mmph...Rivers chop and change...lakes remain fairly stoic." He murmured quietly as he began to make his way towards the forest, his gaze fixed on the darkness within and his ears ready to catch any indication of water nearby - even if it was a river. Granted he wasn't particularly good at tracking but through watching Yei he had realised that there were certain things you could look for.

"So, we have a lake." He paused at the edge of the forest and glanced towards the young female once more, "What else do we have - nice flowers, odd bushes, fruit?" He persisted, attempting to draw out the information from the Soquili who seemed to enjoy being terribly vague in relation to where she lived.

Or he could just ask someone, the raccoons and grey squirrels always seemed to know exactly what people were looking for...

The mare shrugged softly, she felt a little vulnerable for knowing so little of this area. Maybe she should have wandered with Chitsa, so then she could find her way back home. But it would be ok, right? She could just keep wandering until... she happened to stumble upon the teepee.

Tifa paused and wondered if there was anything odd... about the lake she lived nearby. "Oh!" Chitsa had show her some wild bushes earlier that produced an unusual blue-ish colored berry. She had no idea of the name but she hadn't seen any of those bushes around here. "Around the lake... There were small bushes that had small blue berries in them. I haven't seen any of those bushes out here." Hopefully... That would help. She didn't like to be a bother.

Aha, so she'd finally come up with something that he could use - the lake was a fairly vague reference but referring to plant life and oddities usually made things much easier to find. He'd known that eventually he would come up with the right questions and it was only now that he gave a small smile...he knew where to go from here.

"Alright then." He murmured as he flicked the clothing draped over his left leg before beginning to move towards the lake, granted he was partially following the sound of the rivers but they all eventually led to that area. Once he got there, well, she could point out the bushes from there and then he could decide on more questions.

He had plenty of time and how hard could it be?

Tilting her head, Tifa observed the other soquili quietly wondering if he knew something she didn't. Though she felt hopeful that she would make it back to her teepee without bothering this other soquili. She was always the optimistic one and definitely a plus for her. The mare picked up her feet and walked a little behind him, still watching him curiously.

Usually she was quite sure about everything, but after arriving here, she wasn't sure she could be certain about anything. Especially about this other soquili, why, why did he seem so familiar? Though once again, she pushed the thought into the back of her mind and refocused on the task in front of her.

Tossing her short mane quickly to rid herself of the menacing flies, Tifa continued to walk a foot or so behind the stallion.

The lake! His ears perked as his eyes fixed themselves upon the mirror-like surface. Granted he had seen a lake before but he had been uncertain that he was heading in the right direction until now and now as he gazed at it and the plant life around it he couldn't help but feel somewhat satisfied by it all.

"Perfect." He murmured and then swung round, an almost boyish smile on his equine lips as he observed the mare behind him, "Told you I could find the lake." He chirped before canting his head to the side and motioning towards it, "Now where were those bushes you spoke of?"

Giggling softly, Tifa spotted the ever so familiar lake. Tilting her head softly she turned to gaze at Cloud wondering what he could possibly be thinking about. But she pushed the thought into the back of her mind as she looked for the berries. The teepee should be somewhere nearby... behind a large oak tree.

Tifa nodded to the left of her towards some bushes with blue specks visible within. "Those are the bushes now... where is the teepee..." She paused and looked around once more, "There was a large oak tree. Bigger then any of the trees I've seen." It did stand out, when she first arrived at the teepee it was the first thing she had noticed.

Cloud looked faintly towards the high rising canopy of the forest, his expression somewhat creastfallen as he attempted to discern exactly which tree she was talking about...if he was to be entirely honest there were a lot of trees both in the forest (duh) and out of the forest and if he was to be even more honest...

"What does an oak tree look like again?" He enquired faintly, glancing over his shoulder somewhat with a guilty and almost boyish smile...well he wasn't a scout or self-proclaimed tree-hugger so how was he meant to know what they all were?

Oh my. Tifa couldn't help but giggle to herself, first she gets herself lost, and she ends up meeting two soquili. But she still can't find her way back. "Oh you know, how about we just... wander around instead of looking for it. Perhaps we'll find it by chance." Wondering if he'll buy the idea, Tifa grinned sheepishly.

She wondered if she was annoying him; she seemed to be self-conscious of herself a lot lately. "If I'm annoying you, I can leave..."

"You don't know what an Oak tree looks like either!" He chirped increduously, granted he was being quite unlike his normal self but around this mare, he seemed to feel suitably more relaxed and comfortable with himself...she was an odd one, but then again she was seemingly more calm than Yei and therefore not quite so...intimidating?

"Well, I can safely say that neither of us shall be scouts." He mused after a few moments before releasing a quiet laugh and giving a nod of confirmation to her idea, perhaps if they walked around for a bit they may indeed locate the infamous tree or the teepee - whichever came first.

"A walk would be nice and if you were annoying me, I would have left by now."

Tifa didn't have a rebuttle, but she vaguely knew what an oak tree looked like... vaguely, because she remembered Aurorealis pointing out the huge tree next to their teepee. But that didn't matter, and she quickly pushed the thought about the tree to the back of her mind. The mare chuckled softly, "Yes, I think we should keep to our day jobs."

Tifa smiled sweetly and nodded. "Ok then." She continued to walk, but kept her eyes on the ground. She seemed to be thinking about something.

Day job? He wasn't aware that he had one unless keeping an eye on Yei counted (in wish case he was doing a horrendous job). Nevertheless, he remained silent as he flicked his gaze towards the mare who had once again fallen silent - now he knew he was boring but when he was being annoying Yei looked up so obviously there was something more to this than met the eye.

"Is there something wrong?" He enquired uncertainly as he matched her stride and flicked his gaze towards her, his azure eyes focused on her despite him keeping a slight bit of attention on what was in front of him.

Tifa considered watching Cait Sith her day job. He was one rambunctious little ferret. Thankfully today, she had left the little familiar with Chitsa so she could run around a little. Cait always seemed to wriggle too far down a hole or jump too high in a tree.

Looking up suddenly, Tifa shook her head rapidly. "Oh no there's nothing wrong. Sorry if I seem so boring. I don't know. I've been thinking too much lately... Do you ever feel like you've done that? Think so much where it begins to hurt?" She giggled sheepisly now realizing that she was rambling. She became quiet once more.

//Sorry, working a lot of overtime right now so I'm finding it hard to keep up with gaia! @_@

"Boring?" Cloud raised a brow slightly as he continued to follow along beside her, granted she had been silent for a while but he would hardly refer to that as boring...more curious - afterall, it wasn't every day he was around a female who could keep her mouth shut for longer than thirty seconds so it was really quite impressive and he almost wanted to know how she restrained herself so well.

"I can't say I ever really have time to think though, my companion has a habit of...never shutting up." He smiled fainly and cocked his head to the side slightly as he admired her short mane, it was simplistic and yet still very pretty, "That hurts my head a bit though, does that count?" He teased.

"Oh, you mean Yei? She seems rather nice." Tifa shrugged and smiled sweetly. "But yes, I could see how that could be rather bothersome." The silence of the forest surrounded them, and in the distance you could hear the waterfall crashing into the water below it. "So how did you come upon this place and meet Yei?" She tilted her head as she asked the question.

"I..." He gave a sigh as he drew nearer to her, his ears flicking towards the sound of the water in the distance as though it sparked some forgoten or distant memory that up until now, he had deemed to be rather unimportant.

"I met her outside a cave, just by the waterfall near by it." He smiled ever so slightly and bobbed his head slightly to flick his forelock from his eyes, "I didn't know where I was and she just seemed to appear, a little like a Nymph I suppose." He mused and released a sigh before turning his gaze back towards the mare, "She took me to shelter...I was rather dazed." He confessed.

"What about yourself?"
