I have too many fav mangaka to list. I'll list a few.
Fujishima Kosuke, Kiyohiko Azuma, Ogawa Yayoi, Takahashi Rumiko, Akamatsu Ken, Anno Moyoco, Yazawa Ai, Takanashi Mitsuba, Kaneyoshi Izumi, Watase Yuu, Shimoku Kio, Samura Hiroaki, Arakawa Hiromu, etc. Yes, that was just naming a few.

Tales of Turtle by Kisotengai Bunko. I think it was from 1981. Not sure.

Sorry if I get some of the titles wrong, for some reason I always get the titles all mixed up (I've been known to call Fruits Basket, "Fruits Seed"...don't ask why, I'm not sure either).
I love Fruits Basket, Gundam Seed, Bleach, Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Peach Girl, Naruto, Ai Yori Aoshi...
I know I've read more, I just cannot remember all the titles right now. sad

I've only read Aria. I liked it. I want to read some Fushigi Yuugi next, I think. (sp?) or dothack...someone told me I reminded them of a character on dothack, but I'm not sure if it was the manga or the RPG....and I'm not sure if it was an insult or a compliment. sweatdrop

Hellsing and One Piece are my favourite Manga.
I have others but I can't really think of them now.
Kohta Hirano the creator of Hellsing is most likely my favourite Manga artist, his work is so detailed...I don't think before I read hellsing I ever saw someone actually write titles on the names of books in the backgrounds that were legable.

My favorite authors are Yuu Watase (Ayashi no Ceres...), Rumiko Takahashi (don't need to say anything here), Masashi KIshimoto (Naruto), Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina, Negima) and tons of others.
