If I had to cast him in an anime movie it would be as Shikamaru. He's untested for really dramatic acting so I wouldn't put him in something as demanding as Shinji. He's just all wrong for Naruto.

I read Anime Insider too! I really agree with their choice of Ian McKellan as Kouzou Fuyutsuki.
