A father? That was different. He has never planned on mating with another, well other than Tajwar but she was taken....and that left him heart-broken and somewhat jealous of Sesere.
"You are welcomed to stay, I have no objections." he smiled meekly. "I can care for them for as long as I can and be here for you as long as you need. However, I am not ready to be a father just yet...."
A gift of the gods he did not want. Forced to take what he did not desire. This mark has done nothing but made him suffer.
"Gods...." he whispered.

Saa felt a bit pained at his words. He wasn't ready to be a father. But what would happen to her pups? She didn't want them to have to grow up without knowing their father. Another tear fell down her cheek as se thought of what to say.
"I only wanted to be a mother because I thought Zingatia would help me but now that he's gone..."
Her voice trailed off as another kick came from her belly. They were so close now. "...my pups won't have a father.."

Usu didn't know what to do. He whined to himself as his mind tried to come up with plans, scenarios, and ideas. He was ready just yet, he was still young.
"I'm really sorry Saa, but you're much older than I am. I can't do much for you now, I have never had any experience with pups." his heart urked. He was sort of spoiled as a child and then being forced from his pack.
"All I can do is give you shelter and help you raise them, Saa. If possible, we can always find a pack to join that way we'll have help raising them, y'know?" it was and idea. He wasn't ready to join a pack either, but he was willing to.

"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have put you into this whole mess." Saa fell to her side and buried her muzzle into her paws. This was because she had done something wrong. The gods were punishing her for something that she had done.
What did I do to deserve this?
Her tail tucked between her legs as she cried again. It seemed that no on could help her again. " A pack? This is my mistake. I can't have anyone else caring for my pups that I don't know."

Usu sighed and started to run scenarios
1 - Saa has the pups and I help out
2 - Saa has the pups and We join a pack
3 - Saa has the pups and I find Zingy and drag him back here
4 - Saa has the pups and I become ..... the father
Either way he puts it, it involves him, her, and the pups. He didn't know what to do. If these wierd events helped him out then it wouldn't be a nuiscance.
"Saa, we have to think about this logically. I am not the father, I am your friend. You are my friend and the mother of the pups. Zingy is out there somewhere and he's the father." Usu bemused. What was he going to do....
"You didn't get me involved, I did. I want to help you, but at the same time I don't want to go beyond my limits."
If only Zingy was around....

Saa whimpered. All these strange happenings weren't having a very good affect on her state of mind. It wasn't that she didn't want Zingy to be their father. She just wanted someoneshe could count on to call a father to them. Her options were running low and in her current state there was no way she could go looking for the wayward father who probably wanted nothing to do with the life inside her.
"I just don't know what to do. I'm just so close and I have no one to turn to..." She buried her muzzle under her paws and whimpered again.
"Of course you aren't their father but what if Zingy wants nothing to do with them...I can't tell them that their father abandoned me before they were born. It would kill me to do so." Her ears went back and she finally lifted her muzzle again to look at him.
"What if they ask about him?..."

Usu whined. That was quite the dillema. Zingy was gone and here is Saa on the brink of labor.
"What if they know that Zingy is away or something?" Usu was bad with excuses.....he doesn't even use them let alone come up with them.
"Besides, why would he mate and leave. He knows he has children." he said, tail swinging a little bit. "He'll come back for them, for you."
"I know I would..."

Saa felt as if something was clogging her throat. All this had happened because of her own stupidity. Some things that Usu was saying had made sense but she wasn't sure what to do with herself.
"Zingy won't come back...he doesn;t want anything to do with my life or theirs." Her tears almost came back anew as she smiled at Usu.
"You're so kind Usufii. Any female would be lucky to have you as her mate." For the first time Saa wasn't implying anything. Usu had helped her so much but how could she expect him to do more especially be a father to her pups unless he actually wanted to. She sighed and watched his paws for a moment. Her life was falling apart at the seams before her very eyes.

"No!" he shouted. "Don't say that! He will come back, and he does care about you all!" he didn't mean for it to be mad or scolding, he didn't want her to think of such things. Though, yelling wasn't something she needed right now.
"Sorry....it's just that, he does care, he has to. Those were just words he said. He could not have meant it." his eyes lowered.
"I'll bring him back if I have too...." he whispered.

Saa tried to make herself as small as possible as he shouted. She didn't mean anything by it. She just knew that she was speaking the truth.
"He said it to me as plain as day..." Her voice was soft and meek after such and uproar. "He doesn't care about me. He got what he wanted and left." Her body slowly began to uncurl as she played it over and over again in her mind. "He doesn't want to come back. He doesn't want our pups. I don't even think I want him around them." Her mind was working to fast to comprehend what she was actually saying.

"Don't say that...." what was he going to do? He can't make her do something she can't. He can't control Zingy's mind nor Saa's.
"What am I going to do now...." he whispered to himself.

Zingatia huffed angrily padding away from his freshly collapsed den. His tail waved with annoyance behind him and his large ears were laid against his skull. Why now? Why does everything have to go wrong at the same time? He wondered. He stopped for a moment and then remembered that Usu lived near here....somewhere. Maybe Zingy could scope out his den again and stay with him until he could find a new den or get his old one fixed. That's just what I'll do. He told himself lowering his muzzle so that it was almost touching the ground and trying to pick up the scent of the other wolf. He caught it and then ran off towards the den hoping that Usu would be there and let Zingy stay a while. Ashe reached the entrance to the den just about to call to Usu he let out a shocked gasp. There was Usu yes, but with Saa. He pulled back his lips into a snarl, and furled his brow menacingly. "What are you doing with him?" He asked, rage bubbling inside him.

Saa smiled up at him. "Are you sure don't want to be their father? I'm sure you'd benefit from it and gain some character." She knew that he would probably refuse but she had to ask. The question had been burning a whole in her mind. Just as she gently licked Usu's paws she smelled a familar scent.
Zingy?..
She looked up to the entrance and sa w the father of her pups staring down at them. "Nothing that concerns you." A growl formed in her throat as she stood. She knew that she was obviously pregnant and he would see that but she didn't care. Zingy had hurt her once before and Saa wasn't going to let it happen again.
"You should just leave."

Usu flinched at Zingy's sudden appearance. Uh oh....
"Zingy, what are you doing here?" he asked. Okay not very bright to bring one self into another's conversation. This will be a turn for the worse for the both of them.
Usu sat straight up, "Zingy, the three of us need to talk." he spoke, beaming at the two of them with his sapphiric eyes.

"The three of us." He laughed. His angered subsided slightly at the sight of Saa. He loved her, and he couldn't really be angry with her. "Saa, I only left because I was confused...scared." He started, turning back to Usu. He flashed his teeth and let out a low growl. "But, it doesn't matter now. I see you've decided to have someone's pups, so I'll just leave the two of you to your own devices." He snorted, turning to leave. He tok a few steps away, then swung around and lunged at Usu, knocking him off his feet, and pinning him against the ground. His muzzle hung over Usu's neck, and he knew he could kill the other if he dug his fangs in right now, but it didn't seem right. But this traitor impregnated your lovely. A voice echoed inside his skull. "You b*****d." He muttered, hot breath hitting Usu's fur and bouncing back into his own face.
