AnimeMonkey Yeah, it annoys me in some games like FFX-2 with the thief outfit I love you! whee Female Fanservice would probably annoy me too if it was emphasized as much as the Male Fanservice, but so far I'm sick of seeing skanky girls in videogames AND having them kick @$$ at the same time, it confuses me X_x; & I know it's just a sorry attempt to get more people to buy into it. heart KATZ o^_^o

Doesn't bother me much. I guess men feel offended the same when it comes to hunks like Leon, Dante, Solid Snake...? wink
Who knows. If the fanservice for them stops, our privileges would be stripped. I, for one, do not want this. neutral

I bugs me alot. If there's too much of it then I wont buy or play the game even if it is a really good game. It makes me feel used, I realize I'm not one of these girls, but I feel disrespected.

The only thing that's worse than scantily clad chicks, is when a girl's boobs bounce even when she blinks. Even if she is entirely covered (Taki), it's still so irritating, even moreso if they look rather cold. stare

In Final Fantasy XI, there is a problem with the 'trousers' item stare I can't say anything about the other races, but I'm sure males don't have this problem. I play a Mithra, and I bought an item called 'Leather Trousers'. It had a little thumbnail of a pair of trousers, and the word 'trousers' was in the name, so you'd think it would be trousers, right? WRONG! BIKINI BOTTOMS! If it has a point and is actually adding to the game/anime or whatever then I'm fine with it. Actually I don't care. But fan service just for the sake of having fan service is just stupid.

If it's portrayed a little tongue in cheek, then I'm willing to laugh with it and go on.
Usually thought I don't bother getting upset with it. It's like the Barbie dolls, super stylized sexed up versions of anatomy is becoming the standard norm now crying sigh.

Well, there are somet things i dont mind, but at the same time i wish there were more for us girls to look at. I mean characters like dante, link and various ff hunks are hot but thats about it, they are just nice to look at and then when they say that they are making all these games for girls and widening the audience, they make girly kiddie games like barbie and bratz games, even princess peach (which i enjoyed) was very much child orientated. They need to come out with a cool looing game for girls, i dont care if its a female or male protagonist, i just want it to be fan service free

it bothers me that the girls are usually scantaily dressed while the guys get clothes... we don't get good enough fan service!
actually, it really only pisses me off when its extreme. Having sterotypical weak female characters urks me more. I forgive Dead or Alive (nottt volleyball) games somewhat, because their female fighters often throw better kicks and punches then guy characters...i'm more sick of the girls always being the weaker but faster character.

There are some pretty cool games out there that you get to play as a female character. Years ago a female main character was unheard of (female gamers where unheard of too) The new PS3 game heavenly sword is a good example of this.

It bothers me sometimes. For example, in a lot of the fighting games the women will have gigantic breasts which are barely covered by a skanky bikini top thingie and bounce...a lot.
I also despise games in which the girl will just be standing there, not moving, and her breasts are bouncing.

Independent Sometimes I find it annoying ... but not just in games but like ... in the whole country..
And it really depends on what game it is ... if it's something like Soul Calibur II with Ivy then that's kinda annoying, I mean, gawd! haha actually, i find Ivy a lot more realistic than Taki. Ivy looks like a pornstar and there are women who look like that. Taki, on the other hand, has breasts that counts as half of her body weight. Women that petite and that athletic wouldn't have breasts that size. Just look at the women who compete in the Olympics. They all have small breasts because their body fat has been burned off. (I also heard that athletic women have a hard time getting pregant because of this.) And if I had a daughter, I would much have her dress like Ivy, than Taki. I'm not even sure if Taki is even wearing clothes. It looks more like body paint to me. I like fan service, provided that it is done realistically. Sometimes it doesn't, and it's exactly what I go for in being female. Sexy, charming, innocent-
Sometimes it pisses me off significantly - when the girls are really dumb, I want to shoot myself.
What I actually can't stand even more than that is the female fanservice, because it almost always has a tendency to be either really corny or really shounen-ai. I want to envision the guys liking me, not some other guy.

My biggest problem is that it ruins the games for me.
last time I ran across a character like that was in prince of persia 2. the main villianess is wearing less armor than the darkhold option with the dark halos on gaia. I simply couldn't take the slut seriously and turned off the game and promptly returned it.
