well, from my experience and the people i've talked to, the only thing i really have to say about it all, is that it's like 90% mental. if/when you're mentally ready to have sex, your body and your mind will relax, your muscles will relax. and since you've been with him for a while i'm sure he'll be very understanding and loving about it. just take it slow, maybe have him do some oral on you first to moisten and relax you and your v****a. the little bit of pain you may feel is just your hymen breaking and maybe a little pressure from the first time your v****a has been penetrated. my first time i was ready. there was no foreplay so it was dry and sore a little bit, but the condom helped lube a bit. then after he got in and moving a little bit my body took care of the rest. just make sure you're ready. and when you are do some prep work to make your body as ready as you two are <3 best of luck, and no worries, just relax. =3

My first time...actually my first three times were really painful. I didn't sleep with another guy until four years later, so it was like the first time all over again. It hurt and I was uncomfortable. I went to the OB Gyn and asked if it was supposed to hurt and she told me I probably had an STD if it hurt... but, I was tested and had no STD's. My gyn didn't give me any advice. It turned out to be that I was just very uncomfortable. Now, with my husband....he is the only person that I've ever experienced an orgasm with. I think it's very helpful to...explore yourself and figure out what you like. If you're guy is very loving- he'll help you any way he can. Good luck and relax.
