"Well, the firekin isn't the best place to be. Mufasa told me that it's not safe for anyone to go there. I hear that they were worse than the hyenas." he warned, he wouldn't want Trina to go their nor her brother. "So, your brother, have I seen him before?" Ger was always intrested in another's family...only because he only had half of one. All he had was his mother Jhazara. He never knew his father nor met him. His mom told him that he is alive out there somewhere. That is what sparked the cubs intrest of traveling. To go out and meet him for just one moment.
The graveyard wasn't very....colorful. The place reeked of death and often times blood. The area was swarmed with hyenas and sometimes rogue lions.
"Well, if you see one alone, all you got to do is call me and I'll come runnin'." he said bravely looking down at the bones of the deceased.
The Elephant Graveyard.

Trina smiled "But you would not hesitate to go to the Firekin Land would you? You are so brave!" she smiled sweetly as if she was really meaning this. She knew that telling a boy he was brave was very similar to telling a girl she was the most beautiful creature to behold. Firekin lands sounded like a good adventure... and maybe there she would find a real man in those borders. The brown cub yet did not realize that being a man meant being gentle and caring at the same time too... She was too young to realize Ger was probably more a gentleman than most lions she could ever meet in the future.
"I don't think you met Kota, believe me if you did you would remember..." She smiled sweetly "His color is not very common to Pridelanders.. He is pitch black 'cept for a diamond on his face..." She was somehow glad Ger did not meet him yet.. Kota could be overly protective sometimes and spoiled all her fun. "How about your family?" she asked him, purring "Do you have brothers of sisters of your own?"
Speaking helped to lift the eeriness of the Graveyard. Trina walked close to to Ger and nodded, hoping he would be able to fight a hyena off all by himself. Yet she did have claws did she not?... She would help him if such a morbid thing happened...

Ger's fur started to brighten red with the female's compliment. It wasn't everyday that he was called "brave" then again, Trina was probably the only female he knew and the only one that called him "brave." But he wasn't all that brave. If he told her why the Firekin clan was worse than the hyenas then she would call him crazy or insane. He wanted to wait until he was strong enough to survive.
"Kota would be someone intresting to meet then wouldn't he. Besides, what's the worse your brother can do anyways, right? He's a cub, I'm a cub, we're both Pride Lands. He likes you as his sister and I l...like you as a friend." he coughed a little to clear his throat. But then she brought it up.
His attitude abrutly dropped. It wasn't often that his family was brought up in any conversation. "I have no brothers or sisters..." he murmured. "I don't even know who my father is." Ger's tail stopped swinging. "All I got is my mom, but she tells me that my dad is out there somewhere. Maybe I could find him, just once I would like to see him, y'know?" he said out loud. "You're lucky, you got your brothers and sisters and your both parents. All I got is my mom. Don't get me wrong, I love her, she's the nicest. But sometimes I wished that I had a dad too..."

Trina stopped, her honey and chocolate colored small paws halfway into the grey ashes of the graveyard. She felt something inside her break... and she had never felt in such a way.. why was Ger so sad all of a sudden.. Had she done somethign wrong? And even if she did why did she care?... It was not like playing with one's heart and breaking it, she could see his heart was already broken by someone else. Even in her young age, Trina could sense the bitterness in his voice.
"I have a father... but I don't have a dad..." she said, as if to comfort him, but being sincerely gentle and caring was not her specialty so she did not know if she was doing it right or wrong. She never had to comfort someone in her life, ever. She hated it, because it made her feel uncomfortable... yet she wanted to say something to Ger to cheer him up. So she told him about her complex family situation, as well as it understood it. Their mother did not hide anything from them so she knew pretty much all about Kizuka and Mchele. "You see.. my mom and Mchele are not exactly.. a couple. Mchele is living with another... lion.. not my mom" She was never ashamed of Mchele's choice of living with Ausha, her mother made it pretty clear that their relationship was more of a friendship than of love with Mchele. Maybe that was why Trina did not trsut love and toyed with such feelings, because she was too much skeptic to believe such a thing could exist.
She walked up to Ger and brushed her face against his "Do not worry, you will find your father eventually... It will be a whole new adventure!"

Ger smiled up at her with his large "gorgeous eyes." Not only was Trina the only Pride Land female his age, the nicest, and the one who was comforting him, but she was almost like a sister to him at that moment. She was there for him. Ger reached up and licked her ear, "Thanks, Trinny." he smiled.
He laughed and ran up ahead. "Come on, we came here to have some fun right?" Ger hopped side to side as if the two were playing a game of tag. He reached his paw out and tapped the chocolate colored tail.
"Tag you're it!"

Trina purred contently at his lick "What for?" she giggled and ran around Ger happily. He seemed much better now, so she could not be that bad at comforting others could she? Though she sincerely wished she did not have to do something of that sort any time soon. Kota was enough as he was.. what was the problem with boys anyways? They were depressed too quickly. Her mother, Kizuka, even though did not have a very close relationship with Trina, was her role model and she rarely saw her depressed.
"Oh boy, aren't you in some serious trouble!?" Trina exclaimed when Ger tagged her and the chocolate and honey colored lioness chased after Ger with the most flirty bounce in her step possible. After all he was right, they were here for the fun and fun had many shapes and sizes.

"Catch me and I'll tell ya!" he teased as he hopped around, keep moving. Ger was not one to play games but he was decent. This place was ideal for a game of tag or hide-and-seek. There were hallow out skulls and bones to hide and run between. This made things intresting and often times made it much more fun.
Ger dashed through a broken elephant skull and down a large rib cage. Ger slide after exiting the rib cage and ran along, catching glimpses of something brown behind him. "What? Want me to slow down for you?" he called back, taking his eyes off what was in front of him. When he turned back, a large elephant skull was before him.
Inside there was no place to go but where he entered. He was trapped.

Trina let out a loud and happy laughter as she started chasing after Ger with utmost care where she was stepping. She did not want to fall into a hidden hyena trap, for she suspected there were a few... She had heard hyenas were not the sort to welcome intruders with open arms. However she was having too much fun to actually care.
"I will getcha!" she sang loudly as she jumped over several small sized rib bones and slided from the back of a vertabrae happily. She did not rememebr when she had such fun!
However with all the excitement, Trina did not realize she had lost Ger. The chocolate cub ran around a little more, seeking her playmate, however after a few unsuccessful attempts she gave up "Sweetheart.. Where are you?" she asked loudly.

Kimbia looked around with a hostile look in his crimson eyes. If there was a place he hated the most, it was here. It was downright depressing, limiting and rather boring. It had been some time since he left the hyena pack and started to look for a life on his own, hoping that his brother would somehow join him. However, it had been sometime since the dark hyena heard from him, so he decided to check up on his light colored twin. After all, in the graveyard, anything could happen to one of their own kind under the reign of that narrow-minded Mafa.
He carefully placed his paws one after another, knowing there were many traps which would lure him to his death. This place was just as he remembered.. yet there was something unfamiliar about it.. A smell that should not be there... Lions? He lifted his head in alarm and curiosity. There were lions around... Perfect timing. He quickened his pace and followed the scent with a keen nose. His instincts were sharp and alert. He wandered around, until his red eyes came to a stop on a brown colored lion cub far ahead. Kimbia slowed down and approached the cub with rather gentle steps, a rather unusual thing for a hyena to do. His eyes never leaving the honey and chocolate colored pelt of the cub who was still unaware he was there, Kimbia asked with a low voice from behind "And what exactly doyou think you are doing here?"

Ger peeked out of the large skull catuiously, there was no Trina. Was she still following him? His teal eyes moved over the mounds of bones, she wasn't there. His heart was striken with fear when the lion cub reliezed that the chocolate female was gone.
"TRINA!" he called out running back to where he last saw her.
Frantically looking around, he hoped that she was nearby and safe. "Trina!" he called out again, "Where are you!?" he called out. Then, right there, his heart sank into darkness when a scent invaded his nose. A hyena. Ger's body shivered in fear and worry, where was Trina? Where was this hyena? Ger had to find his friend fast. Before he knew it, his feet were already flying across the graveyard.
I promised....I promised that I'd protect her!

(('Ello there guys, I'm so sorry it took so long, computer access has been really limited... But I'll be home again soon ^^))
Yakuti groaned and raised his head from sleeping, something was making quite the racket outside his den, and he recognized one of the voices... Ger the lion, which ment either he was being attacked by some other hyenas or he brought his friends. He wasn't entirely sure which would be better for him. Great, just what I need...
He stood up, stretched, and came out of his den, lo and behold, there was Ger, but he was running. Well, at least Yakuti wouldn't have to be bothered with chasing him off himself. But that ment... Something was out here... He sniffed the air carefully, and smelled yet another, hyena this time. It would seem that both of his theories were correct.
He looked about and decided to pester Ger for being in the graveyard again, as he could not see any of the others yet "Oi! Ger, what did I tell you? Leave or I'll have to hurt you, and I will hurt you, don't think bringing up Jamaa will save you this time. You were warned before."

Ger's body jerked around at the blue hyena. It was Yaku, the hyena he met before. "Yaku!" he cried, "I can't talk right now, I have to go. And spare me the threats this time around, alright?!" he shouted continuing running around, following Trina's faint scent.
Where are you, Trina. He cried to himself. Ger's head constantly jerked around to see if he could spot the female's chocolate coat. His heart hurt him every second he was alway from her the possible dangers she could be in. What have I done...
"TRINA!"

Trina looked around hopelessly, was she lost? Or was it Ger who was lost? Everything looked so complicated, in a place she did not know. The chocolate colored junevile stomped her front paw on the ground angrily; she was so absentminded lately. What had gotten into her?...
Then, like waking from a dream, Trina's ears caught a faint call which resembled her name. "Ger?" she shouted "Ger is that you? GER!" She shouted. Trina knew that she did not have the build of a fighter, so if something happened she was pretty much beaten weven before the fight. Yet her heart was not full of fear, as maybe it ought to be. Trina was a over-confident lioness, which was not the least her best quality. No, no, what was in heart heart was worry... She was worrying about what might have happened to Ger. At this realization, the lioness gasped and panicked. She did not care for any lion other than her siblings... so why didn't she want Ger hurt? She was not such a big fan of friendship, but maybe that was slowly changing.. maybe she had given in to Ger and accepted him as a friend subconsciously.
"Ger, I can hear you!" she called out, still unaware of the hyenas wondering around.

Ger's head jerked, "Trina!" he called again when her voice replied to him. Immediately, he ran off without caring if the blue hyena followed, threatened him, or anything. His heart raced as he stumbled over bones, rocks, and himself getting to the lioness.
It was strange how this all started. Just another day at Pride Rock, falling down those stone steps, only this time finding a female at the bottom of it. Something went off since they talked about their adventures and each other. Now they were lost, seperated in one of the worst possible place for lion youths, especially Pride Landers. Trina was the only female, other than his mother, that cared about him. She comforted him when he fell apart back on the path here. She stuck with him until they decided to play tag. He had to be the male and save her, he promised nothing would happen to her. Ger continued through the bone cluttered yard when he tripped into a small clearing.
"Trina!" he called out before faceplanting into the dirt. At least he found her.

Trina gasped as her reddish brown colored eyes spotted a golden mass move towards her "Ger!" she exclaimed and happily, swishing her tail, the young lioness ran to him. She could not be happier if she saw her own mother or siblings there. "You are alright!" she gleamed and jumping in front of him licked his cheek happily. Then suddenly she pulled back, well that was uncalled for. She had shown affection to males before, but just to mess up with their feelings, she had never meant it. But this time, she acted the way she felt like, not the way her rules pushed her to and she was suprised. She smiled and tried to joke the situation away "Well well now, you cannot just stand being without me now can you?" she winked.
Then getting more serious she looked around "I smell something unfamiliar... what is out there?" she asked and searched Ger's ocean colored eyes for an answer.
