I haven't gotten any of that, but then again, I play clarinet. I wonder if anybody will ask me if someone ever stuck a clarinet up my butt backwards now that the band camp movie came out. xd

sweatdrop I'm not even a guy and I play the flute and I get that.
I find it annoying that everyone thinks it's HILARIOUS when it's really pretty gross. sad Like, "LMAO YOU PLAY THE FLUTE HAHA *INSERT STUPID COMENT HERE*". I find it very immature.

oh man. i lost count of how many times I started a conversation by accident saying "One Time At Band Camp..." unfortunately, i just started learning flute around the time the movie came out, but i never watched or heard of the movie, so I actually was naiive enough to tell non-band members that i played the flute...you should've seen the looks on their faces...ahahaha

i hate it when i mention that movie, because, i mean, i like the movie, but i play flute AND picollo, so whenever i talk about it, i always get really weird looks, even though at this point i have never been to band camp, but i have medium red hair, so that's worse.. also, i am going to band camp (sleepaway) this summer, so i get a lot of weird looks whenever i say that... it sucks... sad

"I play flute and bagpipes"

I couldn't escape idiots asking if I'd ever done what Allison Hannigan's character says she did in the movie. So gross.
What did you say to their stupid comments?
Feel free to vent your anger here. OMG yes!! I hated that movie! everytime I tell someone that I used to be in Marching Band they say that stupid line, and it drives me up a wall!! What's even worse is that I used to/ still do play the Flute/Piccolo. Everyone in my Marching Band hated that movie, no matter what section they were in...

I watched that movie when I was at my friends sleepover and we were all bando's. The only flute player that was there was a male and we were teasing him until he left, then they started teasing me because there weren't any bass clarinets int he movie. But Chris, the male flute player, just laughed about it. He's cool like that.
Plus, I can't even remember how many times I have started a story with "this one time, at band camp..."

heh. It was funny. I was at another camp before band camp (plus I play the flute) and when I told them they laughed their heads off.

OMFG!! I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!
1. its the only band movie *sad*
2. the star played flute *like me*
3. idc how retarded and nastay them ppls r cuz *band camp isnt like that*.....except in hall county.....all my band camp does is run our butts off.....marching=perfect....music= SUCKS
so.....yeah.....
