Kinda sounds like you're twisting the lyrics so that they make sense, grasping at the slightest things the whole way.

well my first impression was that it's nice song..then a few second later, "wtf, california?" oh well, the tune goes with the thrailer though.

i respect dani california and all (i love the chili peppers) but it just doens't cut if for the death note theme song. i mean, tool's vicariously is better. just see these lyrics, i've capped the stuff really relative to DN:

I don't think that song really reflects Raito very much. It seems to want to see the whole world dead; whereas Raito doesnt want the whole world dead; he wants to create a better one.

exactly. that's what he wants. but if it gets down to it, everyone's commited a crime sometime in their life. if he kept on doing that, i think the world would die rather quickly...
he might WANT a better world, but he needs tradgedy to do that. he watches; keeps his eyes glued to the news, looking for crime...and kills those people
he sits back and watches while people die in his hands, not having to bloody his hands. i think it reflects him...

Teh_Sheba Call me clueless, but I fail to see how those lyrics go with Death Note...
neutral agrees. mrgreen I can see some of it, but I dunno... I think there could be something better.
