Harabu chuckled. "You rely on the night dont you? You haven't outwitted him that much then. I can walk by day and night, Nyek seems to have forgotten that a path well trodden will always give you a path out." He then paused and looked at Amani with a smile. "You ca come with us cheetah, but unless you shape up and be nice to us, I wont even think of accepting you as a lion." He smiled, showing his teeth, wasn't threatening nor anything else. He was just being himself.

Rather taken aback by the sudden smile Harabu gave her, Amani paused for just a moment. She had missed his smile when she had walked up to them from her resting spot, so this was the first time in a while that she had seen him smile with sincerity.
'The only time he did that was when we were playing...' she thought as she continued walking, rolling her eyes at his attitude towards the cheetah. Okay, so maybe he hadn't changed all that much since his trip from the oasis.
She looked to the cheetah, rather curious about him.
"I am Amani. What is your name?" she asked him, being her usual friendly self. It was true, she had changed since being in Nyek's pride, but certain things were still the same, one being her kindness.

 Taban chuckled faintly, "Well then you are the fool... if you navigate by a well-known, well worn path then you are a complete fool. That is where the beast will likely begin his search. I follow the stars. You can remain behind if you'd like but if you cannot keep up to pace then let the buzzards pick at what remains of a brain inbetween those ears of yours. I do not need your acceptance or want it."
He looked over to the female, his brows raising slightly. Well at least someone had manners, "My name is Taban... son of the noble Korvo and Devi... and you are?"

Harabu chuckled. "You seem to not understand things when they are there to create pictures in you mind. You try and make a worn path in the sand." He snarled and turned to Amani, "Come on."
He then trotted off a bit before breaking into a run, he wasn't going to be around a rude cheetah.

Amani blinked at the cheetah. She had already told him her name, hadn't she?
"I'm coming. It was nice meeting you," she said, nodded to Taban, and took off after Harabu. Her leg started to hurt again with the strain on the healing wound, but she didn't make any sounds. She didn't want to slow Harabu down or be anywhere near here anymore, so she kept her mouth closed on any complaints.
