Annataremrys Notch-o-man I finally found a place a feel I belong. I've noticed that emo is a lot like the old goth, except that the clothing sucks, and instead of being heartless, they are pussys and want pity. So like I said, they are nothing alike. 3nodding hey all, we should all go on a emo ethnic clensing spree... We all know they won't kill themselves, we have to help end their sufferingsHighlight my page to get a hidden message The only thing they have remotely in common with goth is the whole black thing... which is why a lot of emos hide under the facade of goth... a little pathetic. Not True. Not All Emos Wear Black Nor Do All Goths
Black Wearing Goths=Steriotype

I freakin' love your signature,Chust. Lmao. Anyways, About the Goth's wearing all black-- I disagree with that too. Like Bukake said, there are cyber goths who wear like.. raver colors basically. (There's Candy Goth's too, you know ;_; They're into cute things.)

Surprise Bukkake Ninja About #4: one can headbang with one's back bent... But then atleast make it a Slipknot-style headbang; going into the headbang with your whole upper body. :3 Just be careful you don't smash your face against walls/tables/chairs/etc. Yeah, it looks cool when Slipknot does it, but I'm talking about COMPLETLEY bending over... Back when I first heard about emo's, I did my research to find out whether or not I can like this style of music (not to do it, but to see which side im on). I downloaded everything from pictures to songs to music videos. At the moment, all I could say was, "Uh, whiny much?". Just before I made my last post on this thread, I was at a "talent" show at my school. Two emo bands played. They looked, sounded, and acted EXACTLY the same (and with the bending over part). There was only two differences: One band has a really good drummer, but he looked like he was only in the band to say he's in a band. He looked too metal. Secondly, I knew one of the guitarists in that band, and he's a total nutcase, so when he tried doing his stunts onstage, he kept ripping and tripping over his guitar cable, thus, resulting in: rofl . Meh.

I hate the trend 'emo' because its basically a mix between punk and goth. However, people who dress punk are often called emo because the narrow-minded world that we now live in think that there are only 3 stereotypes: emo, prep, nerd. Even nerd is going out! I hate it when people call me 'emo' because of the way that I dress. Emo people are just too poor to shop at Abercrombie and cant tan so they say that they are depressed.
All emo kids ever do is act depressed, and yet TONS of them seem to have a bf/gf. HOW CAN YOU BE DEPRESSED AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP?? What do they do, cut eachother? They should just get over the trend and act like themselves! Sure, there are people who really are depressed, but they are also on medications so that they can control it. True depressed people want help or friends or family get help for them. These emo kids arent depressed at all. They are just trying to act cool and get friends because they are too lazy to go out and get them by being themselves. They need to disguise themselves by becoming 'depressed' and all 'emo'.
Now, just because I said that doesnt mean that I dont have emo friends. Theyre great people outside of school when they dont have to act in front of the crowd. Poser, yes. Depressed, no. GET OVER THE TREND IT'LL GO AWAY IN A YEAR BUT THE SCARS FROM THE CUTS WILL STAY WITH YOU FOR A LONNNNGGGG TIME

Nalgani I hate emos because I've slapped too many of them for enabling people who are actually depressed to cut. Meaning that I took the knife and raged at a poor little emo kid who promptly said I didn't understand them. I hate emos because they made cutting a fad. I hate emos because I have scars on my body and am labelled as a twit face because of it. I started the whole deliberately harming myself thing long long long before emo as a genre was even established. No one ever knew why the little eleven year old girl was trying to kill herself. Maybe it was because she was a pariah at school and people physically and mentally abused her. I hate emos because they take all the seriousness away from teen depression. It's a serious thing and they make a travesty of it. A depressed teen crying for help gets smacked and called emo because of these selfabsorbed twits. I hate emo. Because they make my life more difficult. stuff like that happened to me when i was about the same age. i can really relate. people see my scars and yell "STUPID EMO!!!!!" but i don't say anything, because no matter what i say, i'll still be called an emo kid.

i hate the emos because they are a really BAD imitation of the Goth's and they are "depressed" any-time they say "oh i am going to cut myself" i hate them because of that scream and the "emo-music" is SO bad, i hate it...

I hate the emo attitude because...it's just stupid.
The emo kids are merely following another trend, and that's just plain stupid to begin with, but then starting to complain about your life because your parents yelled at you or you got dumped by your girlfriend or boyfriend and then thinking you need to cut yourself to making yourself feel better...that's just plain idiotic.
Sure, life gets hard sometimes, but you'll get over it if you have friends that will stay by your side no matter what, in the good times and bad times. When an actual tragdity (god...how do you spell that?) happens to an emo kid, I'd like to see how supporting their fellow Emos will be. I'd also like to see an Emo kid look straight into the faces of children that are starving and work in sweatshops and all that s**t and tell them about how terrible their life is. I'd like them to say straight in the face of a woman that lives in poverty with her children and they lost their house, thus having to live in their car, about how terrible their life is since their boyfriend/girlfriend broke up with them. When I see an actually depressed Emo kid, I just might show some sympathy. Though, an actually depressed Emo kid wouldn't be an Emo kid to begin with because I doubt someone that depressed with be buying clothing and getting a certain haircut to fit in with the crowd. I believe they would be hanging around their family and friends for support through their rough time.
So yeah...until all that s**t happens, the Emos will never earn my respect if they are so willing to throw away their "terrible" lives.
Besides...when these Emo kids are in their 30s, looking at old yearbooks with their kids, well...their kids will probably laugh their asses off about how stupid their mom/dad look. We've all done it (I know I have rofl ) at least once in our lifetime.
Emo is not a cool trend. No trend is cool. It is just that, a trend. It will go out of style and the next big thing could be considered cool would to be lighting your farts on fire.
So yeah...I hate the dumbass emos that are stealing anti-depressants from the people that have REAL problems and are wasting their parents money on s**t that they'll be throwing away when the trend is over.
I also hate the thought that they're using kitchen knives or razor blades to cut themselves. Other people need those knives to cut your food! And other people need the razor blades to finish up their little projects around the house!
Ok...well...I've ranted enough (I don't feel I really got my point about why I hate emos across xD; ).
I'll just leave it at this.
P.S: I also hate the fact that they're giving lesbians, gays and bisexuals a bad name. Dx

I hate emo's because of how stupid they look, the whole hair over the eye thing. It makes me want to walk over with scissors and just cut off the whole bang thing. How they made black eyeliner automatically emo so when I were black make up or a black t-shirt I am emo. stare I hate how they call themselves original when every kid on the planet is doing the same thing they are. When they say have depression or write stupid poetry over stupid little things. How unhealthy they look! [They are so damn skinny!] gonk And that the guys were girl pants! And when the hell was it cool to be a cry baby!?

I just hate the way they think they have so much "pain" in them, when really they're making small problems into something they're not. And I love the fact that most emos (not all) come from good stable american families. xd Hokay, I used to be emo. Like all the way. And then once I realized how good life is, I wanted to go back and slap myself. I was being such a goddamn drama queen, and at the point I woulda been like, "Oh ******** off you don't know what its like! *cut*" rolleyes Emos seriously need to fall off the face of the earth.

- - - - [ ] I'm usually the one that writes whole speechs on 'don't label people, they're not cans," blah blah blah, but those people called 'emos' make me do that.
Me, I don't see the point of whining over some stupid guy/girl that broke up with you. GET A LIFE. People break up everyday. It's not the end of the world.
Another thing. They say they have bad lives. Huh. What about the people in Africa that have no MP3 Players and CD Players to listen to that crap you call music and not enough money to dye their hair neon green or whatever. At least they have food on their tables to eat. Jesus. Such ungreatful people.
And they say no one understands them? Uh, yeah, go look in the mirror. Those clothes, hair and music? "Oh woe is me?" OF COURSE no one understands you! [ ] - - - -
