Thanks EndlessDark!! you gave me idea about Scotland ^^
People come to Scotland for the countryside too. The Lochs, the Glens, the Mountains...it's really rather pretty once you get into the middle of nowhere. Where I live...you can drive for about 5 minutes in almost any direction and feel like you're in the middle of nowhere ^^
Also, Glasgow is considered to be one of the top 10 places to visit in the world, so, that helps slightly with the whole tourist aspect. Then, there's T in the Park, which is Scotland's largest music festival, if I'm not mistaken...which, I may be...but, it's very well known. Now, I've never gone, myself...but, I'd imagine it attracts quite a number of people from other countries.
I;ve lived in quite a few parts of Scotland...at first I was in Morayshire, which is close to Elgin (nothing terribly exciting.) After that, we moved to Caithness for a while...which is at the very top of Scotland, about an hour away from John O' Groats...you can see Orkney from the place we lived, though, I never actually went there...
Now, we live in Perthshire...so, again, nothing terribly exciting xp
We get alot of foreigners here at this time of year...to pick the berries over the summer...'tis a yearly event I've come to be very used to ^^
Hmmm...I think that;s all for now ^^

@ Faymond:
Billy Connoly's 1/2 Irish ,indeed he is!
@Endless Dark:
London is AMAZING!! The tube is sooo great-I got it all over the place. We only spent 3 days there but what I really noticed was that the level of ethnic diversity was far greater than in my hometown of Belfast. Over here, we don't have a tube because Belfast isn't nearly big enough to need one, it's built on mudflats and there's an inactive fault line running through it and over to scotland so we can't build one because basically, the land isn't firm enough lol. But I love the whole concept of going underground and finding a train waiting for you and when you come back up, you're in a completely different part of the city...

My Name Jeth Roney duh
where I live Southern Utah (although it's a wide spred area)
yah I live in the southern area of Utah which is a state in the US often mistaken for Arizona or Nevada *curses Vegas and Grand Canyon* some unique things about here is the way some old timers speak they'll say things like "what wor ya, barn ina born" which is to say "what were you, born in a barn" it's funny to listen to the local accent. were also in a high desert so tempuratures ranging between 40 and 110 F in a day is common. although that's just spring, summer/fall is about 110 and winter is 40 or so. every year the city of St. George has several events including the Art Festival at easter, the St. George marathon, and Senior Games in October all big events. my home town's main crop is peachs and apricotts, and in Augest we celibrate peach days which gets bigger every year. Also one fun trivia fact is that St. Geroge is the second fastest growing city in the US mrgreen so that's a little about where I live

oh incidentally, a 'fairy bottle' is a bottle of Fairy brand washing up liquid and the hype back then was that you could use the bottle to make things when it was finished. I think this girl has too big an idea though! xd
