Right now I got over my aquarius boyfriend & now I have a big crush on a gemini. The only bad thing is, he's 21 & i'm 16! stressed My first & only boyfriend (the aquarius) was twenty & I really like this guy but I don't want the age gap to get bigger! gonk *lloks around* I guss this a a topic about actual realtionships & not crushes...my bad. sweatdrop

But he went out with someone else, and so did I. He was a Taurus and I'm a pisces. I love my Gemini to death though :0

I'm a gemini and my boyfriend is a Libra. Apparently this is supposed to be really good. My last boyfriend was a Libra too but that relationship was disasterous sweatdrop Hopefully this one will be better, it already is MUCH better.

Aquarius gives Virgo the impression of living a wonderfully exciting life and this could be the initial attraction for Virgo. The independence and self reliance of Virgo gives Aquarius the impression of strength and a sense of relief in finding someone who will not lean too heavily on him/her, thus making the attraction between them strong enough to start a relationship on first impressions alone. Not a good way to start out together in life!
Both of these signs get there motivations from mental stimulations and Virgo fully expects to get his/her encouragement from within the relationship while Aquarius looks to outside influences to supply his/hers. Aquarius' preoccupation with other peoples problems are not apt to leave a lot of time for sharing of the quite life that Virgo enjoys and it would not be long before Aquarius will be feeling the effects of the sharp tongue that Virgo was so generously endowed with.
Aquarius' outside influences could be the cause of disaster in their physical relations. Since their appetites are about equal this should be a good sensual match, but Virgo may not be able to get Aquarius' mind off other peoples problems and back in the bedroom for very long at a time. This relationship will have a hard time just making it to a short affair status. Not a match made in Heaven.

Or so books say, however, I have been engaged to this Virgo for over 6 months now, and together for over a year and things have worked out wonderfully.
I am usually such a strong believer in Astrology, however, I do find fault in this. hmm

I'm a Cancer and my boyfriend is a Virgo. We've been together for 3 years and I'm completely ingratiated in his family. The books says we should be perfect together and we are. Except it's a little boring at times (I have 3 planets in Sag & my moon is Leo so I need some excitement, but other than that, I'm fine).

Except it's a little boring at times (I have 3 planets in Sag & my moon is Leo so I need some excitement, but other than that, I'm fine). You're lucky... I could never get a long w/ Virgo's. Too analytical for my tastes. They worry too much.

Well, I am a taurus sun, leo moon, and scorpio ascendant with venus in aries and mars in gemini. My boyfriend is an Aquarius sun, pisces moon, and capricorn ascendant with venus in aquarius and mars in sagittarius. Technically we're not supposed to be compatible at all, but we've been together for over two years now and are still going strong. Our venus and mars do go well together though. 3nodding

well, astrology isn't always accurate in some cases. relationships are an example...but i do think it's cool when it says the relationship works and you find a lot of characteristcs that match.

I'm back with my aquarius boyfriend & I just recently did his chart. & from my understanding of it we were a match made in heaven! Also in the chinese zodiac he's a tiger & i'm a horse. heart

The traditional method of examining a relationship is to compare the aspects of planets in one horoscope with those in another. Additionally, the astrologer looks at the house positions of each person’s planets as they land in the other person’s chart. This method is called Synastry.
Be certain to have accurate birth times for both people or the analysis could be thrown way off. The horoscope angles (the Ascendant and Mid-Heaven) are extremely sensitive to birth time (a four minute difference will change them by one degree) and these are vital to getting accurate results. So be careful here. I frequently have people come to me with the birth date of someone they met, and they want to know if a relationship will work out. I tell them that the synastry can show some things, but without the other person’s time of birth, no definitive answer is possible.
You have to taqke in the Life experiences of both people. What makes them choose the way they choose is because of past lessons they have written down into their core beliefs.
Attraction and non attraction is an emotional choice, based on everything that makes you who you are today. It does rely some on the characteristics in your horoscopes. But it simply boils down really to what you can love and accept in the other person, and what in you is acceptable and loveable to the other person.
Astrology only shows what's in your chart... tendencies, strengths, weaknesses... Things about your character you can embrace or discard according to your personal mentality and needs at the moment. Potentials.
Knowing the chart of your mate can be very useful, as it will give you a glimpse into his or her persona... But also reserve the thought that Astrology does not spell out everything for you or the other person. It only gives you a clue.
Whether you're compatible or not compatible with someone really depends on how your personalities meet each other half way and mesh. To think that Astrology would determine the group of people you will be with, or date from is a little bit impractical.
There are character polarities that are true with the signs. People you can't stand usually have the opposite personality traits that you have.
In Compatibility I don't look at your sun sign... It just describes what you're like in general. I would look at your Moon, Venus, Mars, Eros, Psyche, Juno, Ceres, Vesta and Pallas Athene for clues...
The Sun sign and Ascendant are only like an ID... it's not the deeper side of people at all.

Remember our sun signs are only a piece of the puzzle that makes us who we are. So if you want to find out more on your compatibilities probe deeper into your charts. Sun, Moon, Rising, Venus, Mars etc. Also some of my best friends are signs I am not suppose to be compatible with, and we get a long well, but when problems do arise they are usually described perfectly through astrology. I find that all relationships can work no matter the sign but you will find better relations with signs of your compatibility, and usually more problematic relations with the less compatible. Anways I hope I made some sense.
