Ryuho dropped his hand and smirked looking down. "You remember after all. You've done lots since I've been gone, young one. Working with you at the castle when you were younger, you could imagine my surprise when I came back to this, and al of your doings. It took me a while to get situated before I could find you." Ryuho studied the boy up and down. Tsubaki had grown, and made pacts with the mystical creatures. They weren't so different, and Tsuabki even had a lip ring not to different from Ryuho's own. "My how you've grown."

He frowned. "But... you haven't?" he asked a little hesitantly. He was confuzed and this made him uneasy. He hated not knowing almost more than anything else and he hated even more than the confusion showed in every inch of him - especially his eye. "But... I don't remember anything else. Just your name," he added, his frown returning.

"At least you remember that much. You were so young when I left. The person I see in you now, was just a seed in you, perhaps one that may have been planted while I was there, but has now grown to full bloom. You must remember something, after all I was your personal tutor, until I disappeared." Ryuho studied Tsubaki closely. "Why don't you take off the coverings, I'm sure you're safe enough to show yourself here."

Tutor? That sounded about right... But then why didn't he have any memories of the man? Well... maybe they'd come back... He thought he could remember something about being scolded for blackmailing the other royal children so that they had to do what he said. He grinned a little at the memory, but there was something that seemed not quite... right... "What do mean, I used to have more markings?" he inquired curiously. He has only just made his pacts relitively rescently... His eye only a year or two ago, his life even later than that.

"You misunderstood, young one. I said you didn't have as many, but there was one. Only on you, I tried to find out why such a young royal child would have such a marking, even if it was one, but when I started to find out, I made a pact incase anybody got in my way, but then I disappeared, now you have far more than I could've imagined, and still so young." Ryuho looks nostaglic for a minute before his gaze returned tonormal.

He frowned slightly. "I don't remember making a Pact at that age," he said thoughtfully and then shrugged. "Where was it? I might still have it, unless it wore off... That happened with one when I was first experimenting... Trading half my luck for... well, it doesn't matter... Worst week of my life... But I got my luck back, the Pact faded and somehow the other end of the bergain stayed in tact," he said with a shrug.

"It wasn't one you made on your own. Somebody in the castle did it, but it doesn't matter, they are dead now I'm sure. But like I said, it was on your face, almost directly below the eye you sacrifced now." RYuho could see Tsubaki trying to put together pieces that he might not ever understand, these were things Ryuho hadn't discovered yet and he had been much older than Tsubaki.

He frowned. Who would want to make a pact on him? Would it have been something to help or hender him? He shrugged. "Ah, well. It's gone now, so it doesn't matter... hopefully..." But the frown was still present on his lips and he couldn't help but puzzle over the question. To take his mind away from that particular question, he asked, "So... what do you do now that you have no troublesome prince to look after?"

"Well I work at an underground bar now. More like own it. When I came back I found that all my money was still intacted and it was no problem for me to get back on my feet." As Tsubaki frowned Ryuho couldn't help the small smirk that crawled on his face as he fought the urge to bite Tsubaki's long neck. Tsubaki wasn't built much differenty from Ryuho, but his was more gracefull and slender built, having been of royal blood.

He saw the other's smirk and the way his eyes were fixed and although he wasn't sure of where Ryuho's eyes were staring, he knew it was at him and not on his eyes. "What's so funny?" he asked curiously, at the same time, unconsiously taking to his habbit of sliding his sleeves up - a bad habbit since it showed more of his markings. After all, he was currently wearing a scarf so the majority of his neck was obscured, but his arm was enough to show that the pact marks spread all over that side of his body.

"Nothing really." Ryuho reached up and pulled the scarf from Tsubaki's neck. "Why are you covering up? Do you not want people to fear you?" Ryuho asked raising and eyebrow. Ryuho had figured Tsubaki made the pacts for the power, and with power come the the dominance over others, he assumed Tsubaki wanted the fear of the peopl as well. Ryuho's own was to protect himself, so he didn't care who saw his markings.

He frowned. "Well, for one thing it's winter. I'm sensitive to cold, you should know that." He pulled the scarf back up and sighed. "Anyway, I promised Mum I'd act as a normal civilian, or, at least, look normal, before I killed her. I guess it became a habbit. It's much easier to negate crowds that aren't shocked still by my eye, anyway," he said with another shrug.

"I'd have a heat stroke if I wrapped up like that. People do raise their eyebrows at my clothing, but I guess I never really know what season it is anymore. It's a long story. How about you come with me back to my bar?" Ryuho asked eying Tsubaki again. "I'd explain everything to you there."

He shrugged. "Sounds alright," he said, replying to the remark about the bar. He then returned to the previous subject. "But see, our blood is different. I've gotten mother's hate ofr cold - remember how she used to bundle up in summer? Even I don't do that... So, where's this bar of yours, anyway? And what's it called?" He was quite curious about the older man - partly because he must have known him so well before and was a part of his past and partly because he had forgotten him and he usually had an excellent memory.

"It's pretty secretive. I don't like to be out in the open. It's a block away from the flower shop, but you have to take a few of the underground passageways to get there. I send out invites every so often so more people here about it. I call it the cave, which seems appropriate." Ryuho had led Tsubaki to an aleyway not far from the flower shop. There was a trap door in the ground there. "Follow me closly." Ryuho jumped down into the hole gracefully and began walking. Underground was full of a lot of the wires and things used to power the city, but was surprisingly easy to move around through.
