Now we just have to force everyone else to follow this so that we don't end up imploding before the sun dies in the next billion years. rofl

Down here, closer to Oceanside, the weather has been freaky as well. Some days it gets so humid and dry you think that we're in fall or late summer. And then the next day the clouds roll in and we get drizzle and then it stops completely and we go on and off again. Lately it's been perfect. A few clouds, dark, to keep the sun away as it blasts down like it's the fourth of july. sweatdrop June gloom has never been associated with DRIZZLE OR RAIN! Darn Global Warming. gonk

*nods* Yeah, but I know the weekends have been fine there lately -- because my dad's in San Onofre every weekend with his kayak! xd

... and... global warming's a myth. o_O*;

^^ Hell, good to be cautious -- and I don't really see why whether global warming is real or not has anything to do with respecting the environment or cleaning up after yourself in the first place, y'know?

*sigh* Yep... Seems like one thing to recognize that humans need familiarity, and are generally very slow to assimilate new ideas... but knowing most of us have that hang-up, you'd think that'd give folks something to pause and think about before just dismissing something because it's not how it's been done for the past twenty-some generations...

You wanna talk about really weird weather? gonk

We're having a thundrt storm right now. You can actually see some blue sky but the the thunder is so loud that the windows are actually shaking.

This is the weirdest weather ever. In JUNE no less! We never get thunderstorms around this time! gonk

Ooh, wow...

But summer's the time for thunderstorms, really... I'm from Nebraska (waaay back when!), so yeah... this is about the right time for thunderstorms and tornadoes. burning_eyes

I Want to Hold You Close, Skin Pressed Against Me Tight...

I was driving through Anaheim, picking some stuff up for work, and it was somewhat sunny.
Then I drove through Tustin, because I got lost, and it started drizzling.
I finally made it back to Costa Mesa/Newport Beach and it was sunny as hell!
gonk

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! The poor air conditioning unit in the window just can't compete with this weather!
