To be honest after watching a couple of their preformances im noticing it too. Poor Kyo is overworking his vocal chords....what he needs to do,.....as painful as it would be to the fans is take a year off for his voice to heal. I mean go ahead with an album but no touring he needs to relax. If he wants to maintain that voice i mean. He's done it for so long i know he can do it again OWER TO KYO!*chibi fist*

Bands do it all the time, WAY more than Dir en grey.

I'll make sure when I see them backstage in Hartford, CT that I shall tell Kyo that you are all very worried about him and that he should think about taking off for a year and to QUIT SMOKING! stressed

InsaneJackalWeecha I think it's just from working so much, the whole band needs to take a break soon. They have be on tour for a while now, are coming out with a new single and then starting on the Family Values tour too. They have been mighty busy so after signing like Kyo does on and on, it's gets very hard to sound as good as they did when the tour first started and they were well rested. As soon as they are done be really busy and take a break for a little bit, Kyo's voice should be back to it's normal weirdly self XD

I think it's silly to not even think about it, because it's possible that he could lose his voice eventually. But I don't think it's likely to happen in the near future. I mean, come on, there have been singers just as crazy as Kyo who have lasted for 20-30 years. I think it's safe to consider it, but not to worry about it, people.

When I belonged to the school choir (yes, I did use to belong to a choir) we had to watch a slide show about what can happen to your vocal chords if you don't look after them. It was enough to put you off singing (ok I still sing so maybe it wasn't) Anyway if Kyo does get noids on his vocal chords or something he will probably need to stop singing for a while and get surgery. Lots of singers have had surgery like that e.g. Elton John
