Gasping sharply, Feles nearly felt himself pass out again, his body going limp as he tried to clear the stars from his vision.

He felt like he was going to be sick.

He stayed silent for the rest of the trip, trying to organize his thoughts and figure out how to get the hell out of this.

Pappila had decided, for the first time in the longest time, to go for a little stroll around the Sun Court's lands. It was a welcome change from the musty room in which she had shut herself, studying. She expected that she might very well see some of her friends who had taken the same initiative. What she didn't expect to see were two of her kind that she did not recognize. A pale, sickly-looking teen, slung over the shoulders of a large, well-built man. Indeed, this was strange. Was the poor boy harmed? Looking more closely, she saw an arrow protruding from the pale one's leg. So the answer, in that case, would be a most definate yes.

"Exuse me!"

She started at a rather hasty pace towards the two as they approached, eyes wide with wonderment at this situation.

"Excuse me... Would you be so kind as to tell me why that boy is slung over your shoulder like a sack of grain?"

Laniger turned his head slightly, cool gaze a momentary flash of gold past the curving horns before the older fey continued on. He shifted Feles slightly on his shoulder.

"Perhaps because he cannot walk." came the toneless reply.

A low growl came from Feles as he was moved, his glare settling on Pappila for a moment as they passed. Just like a Sun Fey... blasted idiots were so 'gentle' and 'caring'. It was a wonder they had survived instead of killing off their bloodline by screwing humans.

Instead of struggling now, Feles was working on a plan. Twisting his arms slightly, he managed to bring his fingers into contact with one of the ropes holding him bound, and started to slide a claw along the woven strand, cutting into it minutely with each pass of the razor-sharp nails.

Laniger felt the muscles of the young Moon courtier's forearm start to work ever so slightly, ever so insistently....ever more concentrated than his wild wriggling. He flashed a brief, indulgent smile that Feles couldn't see.

Then, he seized the bolt and pulled it savagely outward.

The cat's scream echoed in the courtyard of the Sun Castle, his body shaking as he fought back the wave of nausea that threatened once more. "b*****d," he choked out, a thin trickle of blood coming from the corner of his lip where he'd bitten down a bit too hard.

The anger wouldn't last, however... Feles wasn't used to pain, and wasn't exactly accustomed to having to deal with it. So, his body did what anyone's would do when confronted by this trauma, and seemed to shut down once more as he fell motionless in Laniger's grasp.

The elder tossed the shaft to the grass with a chuckle. The blood flowed freely now, staining his worn leathers and the youth's finery....but he would bind the wound soon enough.

No dungeon, nor anywhere else this kitten may stray from unattended, Laniger decided. This one would be leashed in his own bedchambers, until he could tie the brat in a sack and drown him in the river.

The teen shook her head a little, and bit her lip. That was no way to treat someone. Mentally, she would very much like to hit the Ram upside the head. But she refrained from acting upon that thought. She gasped a bit when he yanked the arrow out, and put her hand to her mouth.

"Oh...my.... What are you doing to him!?"

Flighty as her totem, Laniger judged, not breaking his stride for a question so ridiculously obvious.

"Guess." he gruffed.

Was mixing with man the sole culprit in diluting his folk so?

He headed inside. If it weren't he needed the kitten alive yet, he'd have relished explaining and arguing with the butterfly fey until the Moon Courtier bled to death.

Spina appeared out of the shadows, she had transposted herself right outside of the Sun Court's castle. She had left during the time the Sun Court had taken the girl back. Slowly she kelt down, planting her fingers firmly in the ground, her eyes closed tightly. There was still much she had to do.

He was here, he had to be. She had received the clue in riddle, and it seemed much more difficult then the others for her to fully understand. She soon stood up, keeping herself hidden in the shadows, if there were any of the foolish Sun Court around she would be the one to find them.

"Well... Where to start?" slowly she ran her long nails along the wall sounding more amused by the situation then anything.

((If no one else is going to post, I'd say for Tara to go ahead and just post a scene thingy... something so that I know what Feles is going to wake up seeing. xd ))

What remained of the luxurious sheets were scattered in tatters across the tiled floor. The rest bound Feles hand and foot to the grand bedposts, gagged his slackened mouth.

Laniger grudgingly used the remaining scraps to bind the arrow wound through the youth's leg. No poultices, no stitching with fine golden needles. Should it fester, so much the better. Keep the kitten's mind blurred, and on far more important things than slippery Moon Court magics....like his own dull thudding heartbeat.

He wanted to throw up.

That's what Feles' first thought was as he woke to find his head spinning. He tried to move, and nearly choked on the gag in his mouth as he bit down on it hard enough to pierce the fabric in a few places. His leg was screaming at him, the binding not having done much in the way of helping it. The pale rose eyes narrowed then as he glared at the one who'd brought him here.

That was when he noticed where he was... and that he was bound. The cat reacted instantly, the pain in his leg forgotten at least for the moment as he pulled hard enough to make the wooden posts creak. Claws were extended, the feline Fey seeming to go into dervish mode to try and escape.

Laniger chuckled hollowly, stretching casually onto the bed with one leg to loom over the youth....and to grind his knee sharply into the bandaged wound. His hands twisted Feles' wrists still.

"Playing with poison out in the wood....surely you know this game, kitten."

Was it true? Equus shook his head, wondering if it possibly could have happened, as he walked through the hallways. He had heard a rumor, that there was a Moon Court Fey, here, in the custody of Laniger. Why hadn't he been told? It seemed so important. Never had the young squire heard of a moon court fey, on the grounds of the castle. And now there was one, and it was being secreted away...

The fey stopped, turning towards a heavy doorway, raising his hand, and knocking four times on the portal, setting his chin and squaring his shoulders. He didn't know what would happen, when he faced the older, surly fey, but he wanted to be prepared.
