Listening to her words, Siku managed to relax at Colche's grooming, feeling rather comforted by what all she was being told. That, and Siku hadn't been properly groomed in who knows how long. It felt good to have herself cleaned of the dust and everything that had built up in her fur. Still, she wondered what had happened with Kijibwa, and what he was doing right now. Trying to shake the thoughts from her head, Siku smiled softly.
"I guess you're right about that.." She said, hoping her mother would so openly accept her trip to the Jungle with Kijibwa. If Colche's words were true, as Siku thought, then it was reasonable for her to have wanted to leave.
"I'll just go visit her before I leave again!" Siku added, not really realizing that she was thinking outloud. Turning to face Colche, she managed a soft laugh, smiling widely.
"Now look at me. I'm thinking outloud about problems you don't need to worry about."
Lying her head down again, Siku drew a relaxing breath, closing her eyes for a moment's time. She was suddenly whisked to an image of Colche with three young cubs, all recently born. Siku smiled softly, and opened her eyes as the image ended. Shaking her mind of the thoughts, as not to disturb Colche, she decided not to bring anything up about it.
"You're going to be a wonderful mother, Colche, for even taking care of a little lion cub like me."

The dainty femme smiled and curled her tail around the little lioness. "You should certainly visit ehr before you leave little one. It is still nice to know where your children are." She puurred and licked the liccke female on the cheek. It was a peice of tender affection for the youngster just to let her know that things would be okay.
Stretching out her claws a bit The blue eyed cheetah lay her head upon her paws and gave a gentle yawn "you don't mind if I nap do you?" she coos a smile playing upon her maw. "Wandering about tires me out" she whispers looking up at the young lioness with a sweet and careing smile. "do you see that thicket over there? I thinkI will take my leave in to it for my cubs to be born. I think it will be safe. But if you have left before I have them, come to the edge of the coalition lands and wait for a patrol when they come tell them that I have asked for you to come." She smiles softly. "I will make sure you are welcome in the lands of my friends Siku, and thankyou for, for just reminding me of what a mother should be." She paused and sighed, she still had fears in her mind but they were slowly being washed away by her friends, her companions.She thanked them silently for that though she knew she would need them all the more when her cubs arrived.

"I think it's too late to still visit her.." Siku said quietly, watching Colche lie down and relax. She was obviously tired from carrying cubs, Siku realized, and it would be best to leave her be. Standing up, she gave Colche an affection nod, before looking to the outskirts of the oasis. Turning back to Colche, she smiled.
"I'll be sure to remember that, Colche. And thank you," Siku added, face becoming a bit more serious as she watched Colche making herself comfortable. "For encouraging me to be braver. Just wait and see, I'll be the bravest lion around when I come back to visit you!" She added, tail swishing in excitement. "And then I can see your cubs enjoying themselves!" Grinning excitedly, she turned away, trying to hide the fact she was indeed sad about leaving. Unable to turn back to Colche, she began heading off.
"But for now, I have to head off again. Kijibwa's probably worried about where I am." She said, tone faltering a bit as she headed off through the trees.
"I'll be back again to see you, Colche! I promise!" Siku said, tears streaming down her face as she took off running from the oasis.
"And thank you for everything!"

The cheetah femme smiled and sighed watching the youngster leave she gave a little nod "farewell little one, take care of yourself" she puurrs resting her head on her paws. She was tired and ready for a nap before heading back in to the coalition lands. Her stomach would growl with hunger soon and she would go in search of a snack, but for now, sleep beaconed the little femme and she wa soon away in a light uncomfortable sleep.
