Kai laughed as the thing finished attacking him. The thing was fast, but that was about all. He could take care of it in about three seconds, if he used his Pokemon. But really, that would defeat the purpose. This girl was weak, that's why she had to be protected. That had to be the answer.
"Really now... This thing. It looks mighty weak. For some reason, I don't feel like taking it out. It would just be a manner of me pulling out one of my Pokemon. But really," he walked forward, right by the little ghost thing. Sure, it could attack him after his step, but that wouldn't be...That dramatic. "I could do a lot of things. But, I'm not going to. Or. I could always..."
He sighed as he threw himself over into the pond of water.

Kai opened his eyes, only to see nothing. It was to dark to really see anything above the water, but in the water it was worse. Not that he needed to see to do what was next. Grabing his shirt, he lifted it a bit, touching his belt. Reaching around he felt his Pokeballs and counted them. There. Number four. Smiling, he dropped the ball, letting it sink down. Now... now was a good time to come up with a plan. He was a fas thinker though. Now to wait for Envy II to pop up from the ball.
His counting was off. By one to be exact. The ball opened. Then the pond got really tiny. Kai slapped himself as he found some free room in the pond.
Spiral came out from the water, staring at Rei. His rainbow body un-noticeable by the darkness that was over the forest. He blinked, throwing his tail about.

Rei switched her gaze upward at the gargantuan Gyarados towering above her and stared back at it. She couldn't make out his rainbow physique in the dark, no, but she couls tell it wasn't an ordinary Gyarados. A smile crossed her lips at the thought that it had to have been a little helpless Magikarp at one time. "Oh..." Looking down at the pond, it was a simple matter to tell that Kai couldn't have much room in there, but there wasn't much she could do about it, even if she wanted to. Instead she sighed and stood, gazing up at Spiral. "Your trainer isn't very nice, is he? Try not to thrash him though." Shouldering her messenger bag, she began to saunter further downstream. Maybe if she could lose him she could bathe decently, he was really annoying too.

Kai looked up, into the moonlight that lay ahead. The moon was such a nice sight. It made him happy, maybe brought a smile across his face on rare occasions. There was no way he would ever understand how people thought the moon was made out of cheese. The idea was just really stupid. That was like saying, if he made the largest ball of cheese ever, it would be just like the moon. It wasn't even the same damn color! And Spiral. The stupid thing just had to pop out. His luck was so bad lately.
He got licked by a stupid ghost, two times. That was pathetic. How he allowed himself to get tortured in such a way was psycho. Not in his life had anything embarrassed him like that. Stupid ghost. Stupid girl. Why was he still thinking about her? She was a no one. A no one that he let slip away. He could have stabbed her. Took her Pokemon and sell the, but he didn't. The evil in it had left. That stupid girl was going to bug his mind now.
He'd have to kill her. It was the only way. Now, he would walk around not wanting to do anything. He knew it. The only way to stop it was to kill her. First, he had to breath though. Escaping from the water he grasped for air. Getting out of the water he realized he was cold. Now on top of it he was wet and cold. He'd get sick now. Stupid girl. Returning Spiral, he saw that she was gone. There were wet foot steps on the floor. All h had to do was follow them. The girl had to die. Fast.

Rei had taken a rather large detour through the woods to pick up some stray branches, dead leaves, and that sort of thing so she could start a fire up once a comfortable spot was located. Her clothes were wet from being splashed twice, once by Kai and once from when Spiral burst forth from the water. As she walked, she dripped, her trail was easy to see but she didn't care much. Upon some further walking the stream deepened and got wider, but was still running, even if slightly, so it couldn't be considered a pond or anything of the like. Organizing the wood and leaves she fished a box of matches from her bag and lit one, tossing it in the center of the space she made. It wasn't long before her fire was started, at which point she removed her bag and accessories, pulling a blanket from the bag as well and setting it down a safe distance from the flames.
The girl stood and looked around for a long while, and not seeing anyone nor hearing a peep decided that it might be safe for a quick bath, but she was wary. It was even darker at this spot, since there was much less of a clearing and more forest. Again she sifted through her bag and this time pulled out some ramen in a cup- her main diet more or less. The way she had set the fire up, she could set the cup on a part of branch near the tip and it not catch flame, for she was used to this method. After a long exhale she gazed into the water, the wind had decreased greatly but still managed to make it colder and to play with her hair. "He wouldn't follow me anyway..."

The wind hit itself against Kai, making him shudder. His clothes were soaked, along with his body. He just had to jump into the water. There was a plan in his head, but it kind of vanished after a while. Brains worked like that sometimes. At least his did, all most all the time of his life. You didn't have to think much about killing. It was a simple process. Anyone could do it. Even a small infant could pick up a gun and shoot someone. Even without knowing it. Infants never really did shoot someone, but it was possible. Just very rare. Actually, he never saw or heard about an infant killing someone.
Placing his right foot forward, he took a few steps. Every about fifty paces he stopped. For one, to make sure he was going the right way. The second, that if someone heard him his presence would vanish as he stopped. Oh, now he had a plan. Whipping his hand up, he grasped Lucifer's Pokeball. The temptation to open it was high. Flames form Lucifer would light a clear path, but would give off his location. Even though the risk was high, he wanted to do it. But, if he wanted to kill the girl he would have to do silent like. Like a pro. Well, he kind of was one.
There was fire in the distance. It had to be the girl. Why would she light a fire? Did she think he wouldn't follow her? At that point he realized something. In a sense, he was a stalker. Following a girl around did fit the status quote. Stupid mind that had to think of those things. His movement was silent. The training that he got made sure of that. That stupid person from before was going to fight him and he would have got his a** kicked. Hard. So, he went out and trained in the art of Karate. And other things. Learning to use weapons.
That stupid ghost Pokemon surprised him, which wasn't going to happen again. Closer. Closer, silent. The wind blasting on him. Coldness going through his spine. The fire. He was there. But, did the girl notice him? He took the moment to hide behind a shadow of a tree... Not that there was a shadow. It was more like him hiding behind the tree.

Rei had convinced herself that she was safe from wandering eyes, though even if someone were peeping from the protection of the trees, which was doubtful in her mind, only her sillhouette would be able to be seen in the dark. Releasing a sigh, she slipped off her pants and set them beside the fire to help them try, next her top and the same, and all of her other garments all were removed and set beside the fire to dry, close enough to feel the warmth, but far away enough not to catch the flames. A gust of cold wind passed by and she shivered slightly, bending over momentarily to take out some shampoo and soap and a towel from her messenger bag. These were set near the edge of the water as she took her time slinking into the cool, flowing water. Any sullied water would be washed downstream, so there was nothing to worry about.
Lacking clothes in the middle of a forest in a stream made her feel slightly awkward for a few moments before she became accustomed to the feel of it, and dipped under, slowly letting the breath drain from her lungs, causing her to sink lower and lower until she was close to the bottom of the stream.

Wha-wha-what in the hell was she doing? She was taken off her clothes . . . Right there, like no one was around. The girl was far to trusting of people not being around. Or maybe she knew he was there. She was trying to mess with his mind. Trying to make him faint or something. That wouldn't happen. Unless it was light... Wait, no it would never happen. Her body slipped into something. It had to be the water. A perfect time to steal her things. If that stupid ghost thing didn't pop up. But, she was naked... Things like this never happened around him. Why did it have to be to dark to see? Wait, why was he thinking about seeing her? She was attacking his mind again. Stupid girl. Taking a step out from the tree he noticed her bag among her other stuff. An easy take. But, he wanted to kill her. Not just take her stuff. Walking forward, he tripped and flew toward the water. He stopped himself, his body almost in the water. "Sh..."

Kai just blinked, wondering what had happened. How the hell did he fall? Why was he staring at Rei? And now that stupid ghost was behind him now. What was he going to do? Trying to run would work, the only smart thing to do. But, the girl wasn't dead. There was no other sane thing to do. Not that he was the least bit sane. Running, running would be nice now. Lifting up his feet, he ran. But toward the water. The plan was to trick the ghost thing and then run while it poofed behind him. He started to turn around, his foot then twisting. Any luck he had was gone. It left him so long ago. If he was lucky, he wouldn't have found the girl. There was no time to think about luck though. It was all over. He fell backward, into the water. He lay ed there, hoping he would sink and just die.

At this point, Kai was kind of mind dead. There was no way what had happened was real. It had to be a dream. He could feel the water though. The coolness. Even the pain of falling on himself. Maybe it isn't a dream. Or maybe his brain knew what everything should feel like and made it feel as f he was feeling things. His brain had to be plotting against him. None of these things were real. The feelings he had were fake. There was no girl named Rei. There was no naked girl by him. There was nothing!
So, why not take a risk? Half his mind told him to reach out and grab her... But, he wasn't like that. His mind was just dead. Stalker, well.. That did kind of fit. He did stalker, but not to try to rape her or something... Which it did look like. Not that he ever had thoughts of such things... Not that he...
His face turned a bit red, but the darkness wouldn't make that visible. There was something wrong with him. And he hated the stupid possible dream.
"I..."
He just rose from the water, letting drips hit the floor. He sat on the floor, the wind brushing past him.
"I came her to kill you...But, my plan...It seems to be...Not what I'm thinking about..."

Rei blinked a few times, was he really serious about all of that killing stuff? She hadn't done anything and had nothing to do with him aside from their short meeting before, he must not be too levelheaded. "Not what you're thinking about? What are you thinking about then?" She grimmaced and glared at him warily, looking him up and down swiftly before returning to eyeing him. Her eyes followed him as he stood and sat back down, water dripping from his clothes, skin, and hair. The grip she had on herself eased very slightly, only because the shock and tenseness of before had washed away along with the stream water. It didn't seem like he was planning on perverted things or anything of the sort, he seemed rather empty, though she would certainly not chance floating over to take her ramen from over the fire. It must have been nice and warm by that fire...

Looking to the fire, Kai walked by it a bit. It looked nice and inviting. If he stayed to get warm though, Rei wouldn't have time to get out of the water. She'd get sick from being to cold or something. For some reason, he cared. Most times he wouldn't care. Stay there and get warm. Then, take the girl's clothes and run off with them. All while laughing. This time, that wasn't much of a good idea in his mind. Not at all funny.
Looking around he found a pile of the girl's clothes. She would need them. There was no way she would get out of the water without them. There were so many things he could do. And should do. Like take pictures of her out of the water. Or something like that. Rape though, that wasn't his style. He wasn't that crazy. Not that he was crazy.
"...Damn."
He fetched the girl's clothes, making sure not to touch her underwear or bra and anything else privet. He placed it by the end of the water. Moving to the side he walked away a bit. Hiding behind a tree he sat down.
"You can put some clothes on...I won't look or anything. But, I would like to stay to warm myself up..."
What the hell was he doing?
