I dont know if it was where I downloaded IE7, but the download gave me a very nasty virus that I couldnt do anything with my computer. Tab, and I called Dell and the person we talked to was able to talk us through a system restore. I couldnt do it myself, it wasnt recognizing my disc that came with the PC gonk

It *is* still in beta (which means it's still being tested and hasn't been fully released yet), and it is possible that a security hole is present and being exploited by some less-than-reputable folks. Banks tend to be behind the times in any technology (this, from experience working with some of the big ones, in a technical capacity), but part of the reason is because of security. It was a suggestion. If in doubt, wait. Thanks for sharing the potential issues ... I was not aware of them, but will watch now!

Others have downloaded it and had no trouble, but then Im always the oddball xp Im guessing I just downloaded it from a shady site or something because I never had problems with a download like that before. And I was so excited too, because IE7 offers the tab option that I have become so fond of *sobs* I might try again when its out of testing, after all I DID download it the second day it was out in beta *slaps fingers* 3nodding

OOOOOOOOOO, tabs in IE? THAT wil come in handy! I use FF almost exclusively, but I jsut like Neo batter in IE, so try to play there as often as I can.

Thanks to Rue telling us about the new yahoo toolbar, we now have tabs in our old IE6. So if you like the tab option in FF or Opera, but prefer IE, this toolbar is great. I love not having multiple windows open *huggles her new toolbar*

hmmm I may have to check it out. I use Maxthon which is interfaced like IE but tabbed like Firefox. Only bummer is I can't use all my nifty tookbars with it cuz they're only programmed for IE or FF

i can't use FF at all anymore, it just isn't there, wont load up at all, i've no idea what the problem is crying

Have you tried to uninstall it and then download it again?

I am using IE7 and have had no problems, (except not being able to use our pharmacy's web site,they do not support beta versions.)
I have had it since March 9th.

I have IE at work but I also installed Mozilla Firefox on it and I use Mozilla only for Gaiaonline which has a built in popup blocker whth it.
