The English Language is a living thing, it may have evolved, in very much the likeness of animals, when it moved overseas, to adapt, but I guess if you refer to the "purebreed", rest assured, Oxford and all other British Universities will see that it remains pure as it is. After all, it's called "English" for a reason, right?

Maybe so, but Latin fathered both the "Germanics" and the "Romances". English is one of the children of the Germanic (cough coughbastardchildcough) branch of language. The "pure" latin remained in the Catholic Church, now stated in the Vatican (and really doesn't want any truck with English after Henry VIII). A language is as strong as its politically-and-institutionally-well-founded grammar. That's why there are "Language Strongholds" in England (for English), France (for French), Italy, and each country that claims to be the homeland for a major-spoken language. and Anyways, why would anyone want the world to speak one single language? people have endlessly tried to undo the damage at the tower of Babel and failed miserably by trying both genocides and blending.
