Makito avoided directly answering the question, and he knew sooner or later he would have to come to terms with many things and give her a straight reply should she demand it. Hell, when judgement day came he'd have a lot of replies to give to the many questions that would be tossed in his direction.
"Ah, what the hell. Here, let me give you a small warning. Don't ever really tell anyone that we've spoken, don't ever tell anyone that I told you anything that was remotely useful. Stay away from anyone wearing a mask with a cross, or a bear on it for that matter. Stay away from Nanahara Izumi at all costs, and if someone offers you a job in the undergrounds, don't take it."

Obsidian was confused by Makito's seriousness and reply. So basically he was telling her ignorance is bliss? Ignorance from what? Trying to understand his cryptic words, Obie started to absently run her finger along the edge of her book, a habit she did often while thinking hard about something. When he spoke again, her blue eyes lifted back to him. Okay... was he for real?
"Why Mak...uh, Saieki? I'm afraid I really am not understanding what you're trying to tell me. Who is Nanahara Izumi and why should I stay away from him? And what do masks have to do with anything?" she asked, shifting a little uncomfortably. There was only one person she could think of that she would need to avoid at all costs, and he had attacked Ra without any real provocation. Was this person the one she needed to avoid?

"Just...just trust me. Don't question what I told you or else you'll find yourself in a deeper amount of trouble from a lot of parties. Mimi would most likely..."
Makito stood up and looked around, making a move to sit at Obie's table without any further hesitation. He sighed and continued to look around, but stopped after a few moments.
"So, shall we change the subject to something else? I'd hate to scare you off before I really get a chance to say anything. Not that I'm that sort, but I should reward your kindness in ways other than warnings and being rather cryptic."
He smiled softly, winking his right eye at the girl before him.

Obsidian watched Makito move to her table, and glanced around to see what he was looking for for. She looked back to him at his suggestion and reached up to tuck some hair behind her ear.
"Kindness?" she questioned with a small smile despite the uneasiness that had settled within her. She couldn't help it really. Now that she had met him under different circumstances, she found he was actually quite charming rather than annoying.

"Sure. Yesterday you gave me your glasses and today you gave me some meds. Surely that merits something other then me scaring you. Are you hungry or something?"
Makito could possibly get some information from this girl now, that he'd given her fair enough warning and she still seemed to not want to run off. Though he may lose about an hour's worth of sleep over her should something happen, he was still loyal to Izumi above all else.
"I've been craving to get some ice cream from that new soft serve place, but I can't find anyone to go with me. Also this is the first time I've had a headache already so I won't get one with the sweets and the cold."

Obsidian smiled more. She could hardly call handing him her glasses an act of kindness. She had been irritated beyond control and had just acted on an impulse to get him to shut up. At his question of whether she was hungry or not, she glanced down at her half eaten tray, then back up at him as he asked if she would like to get some ice cream. Anything was better than the food in the cafeteria.
"Sure. I'll go with you," she smiled and slipped her book into her bag. She hooked her bag over her shoulder and rose to her feet to return her tray, then waited for Makito to join her so that they could walk to the ice cream parlor.

Most of the looking was so if anyone in the group or the other groups tried to get near Obie they would leave, or at least hesitate afterwards. This was the better of the plan.
"I hope they have more then one kind of chocolate there. I'm a bit hesitant to admit it, but I'm a bit of a chocoholic and can't get through a day no matter the time without some form of chocolate in my system. My friend tells me I'm going to become diabetic before I'm twenty but I think it's a good way to go."
Makito slung his own things about his body and started off, reaching into his pocket to put on a pair of nice sunglasses that only seemed to make him look less like a high school student and more like an idol or a movie star.
"How about you? What are you hoping for?"

Obsidian smiled as they walked and she listened to him, vaguely wondering if she should ask him if chocolate happened to be an aphrodisiac for him like it had been with Nato. Thinking better of it, she slipped her own sunglasses on and tossed her hair back over her shoulder. She had the distinct feeling that Makito was nothing like that creep anyways, so she really had nothing to worry about.
"Strawberry. I like chocolate too, but I much prefer strawberry," she replied, glancing over at him.

"For some reason I've never much liked strawberries. I think it's the fact that they don't go to well in my body with chocolate. Always makes me sick, enough that I can't eat them anywhere near one another or even drink soemthing chocolate and eat something strawberry."
What kind of conversation was this turning into? As long as it remained about chocolate and sweets and nothing more, it was perfectly fine. Makito smiled again and bowed to an elderly woman as they passed, who blushed at his appearance and gave a sweet smile towards Obsidian.
"Did you know that woman? She smiled at you like you were an old friend or something."

"I'm not a big fan of mixing them either. I like them separate," she said, wondering at her willingness to conversationalize so freely today. Obie smiled as Makito bowed politely to an elderly woman, then smiled in return to the sweet one she was given.
"I've never seen her before. Did you know her?" she asked, looking over to Makito.

Makito shook his head, which was the honest reaction. People always seemed to smile at his companion rather then him whenever he was walking with someone, but he felt like being silly and asking Obsidian if she knew the woman. He knew she didn't, but it was for giggles anyway.
"I do like chocolate and oranges, and chocolate and lemons...but not chocolate and strawberries. My pen friend from America always tells me I'll have romantic issues later over that inability. Not sure why, Americans are wierd."
He bowed again to more passing people, getting more smiles and more bows in return. When they finally reached the ice cream parlor he held the door open for Obsidian to go in first, glancing around outside as if he was looking for someone or something.

Obsidian laughed softly at his comment about Americans. "Very true. We are very weird. But I think they were referring to Valentine's Day, where everyone hands out chocolate covered strawberries to their sweeties. I never really saw the appeal in it. Like I said... I prefer them separate," she smiled and nodded in thanks to Makito as he held the door open for her and she walked inside.

"Eh, I haven't seen anyone here do that. At least, I've never been given any chocolate covered strawberries. Or I've never been given any chocolate for that matter, other than the ones from the Mi...my friend and Haruka-san. I suppose I'm not lucky like that."
Makito chuckled a bit and followed right in, marveling at the temperature differences inside and outside of the building. The line wasn't very long, as it was a school day and around a good hour, so he didn't have to wait.
"Hmm...looks like they do have chocolate today. Oh, two different kinds at that! I'm going to want chocolate chip mint and regular chocolate...on a chocolate cone maybe or just in a cup. I can't decide..."

"That makes two of us," she smiled lightly, as she walked up to see what selections there were. She looked up at Makito's musings and tucked some hair behind her ear.
"Chocolate cone. If you're going to get a chocolate fix, you might as well go all out for it," she smiled sweetly, just as she spied her particular favorite. She ordered a strawberry cone and watched the man behind the counter put it together.
