There are three:
1)CLAMP (Angelic Layer, Chobits, X/1999, Card Captor Sakura, XXXHolic, Tsubasa, I can sit here and list titles all day...)- the Ultimate artistc group! They are probably the best.
2)Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina, A.I. Love You, and Negima!)- One of my favorite manga-ka's, EVER! His style is so cute, yet very beutiful, you can't help but to read one of his mangas.
3)Yuu Watase (Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th, Ceres, etc)- Very gifted manga-ka. The drawings are amazing.
The other manga-ka's I like only have one book I've read/heard from them. So until then, these are my favorites. wink

My favourite Manga-ka's are Yuu Watase, Rumiko Takahashi, CLAMP and Miki Aihara.

My favorite mangaka are most likely: Kaori Yuki-sensei (Angel Sanctuary, Count Cain, Bloodhound) and Hiroaki Samura-sensei (Blade of the Immortal) Kaori Yuki-sensei's art style is just so pretty to me. I love the way she does hair, eyes, and clothes (in her recent works). Also I love her dark stories, the twisted plots and nearly all of her characters are likeable to me. Samura-sensei's art is just...dear God. Looks like it would take forever just to do one page. The art is exquisite, and I love the plot and the character and weapon designs in Blade of the Immortal.

I don't know if you've heard of this one it's not manga book it is a graphic novel It's called The Walking Dead. I think they have some good art in that one ^_^

Eiichiro Oda~! He's so modest but yet so great! If Akira Toriyama is the king of manga, he is the god of manga! (This has been stated by many other One Piece fans.)
PS: He went to his parents' house over the Xmas break that is given to Jump artists and ate mochi and watched TV! Too cute! 4laugh
He recently married with a beautiful girl... heart

umm...Akira Toriyama is eichiro oda's inspiration he idolizes him, its in my one piece art book. both of them are my favorites. i also like Osamu Tezuka ...astro boy creator. i like the old school manga creators.
P.S. Osamu Tezuka is the god of manga, Akira toryama is the king, and eichiro oda is the prince.
