I think Dorothy is an antagonist and protagonist in one. She doesn't seem to take sides with any one force, or group other than White Fang at the end of the series. She also seems to give advice to most of the main characters, including Relena, who I strongly dislike >.<

Gundamgirl861 still Quatre does end up liking her. In some fans eyes, yes. In others, no. Honestly, I don't think he does, but I still love the pairing.

Well I think its entirely possible when they are older, however quatre and heero are very simmilar sometimes. Its almost scarry how much like Heero Quatre could be.

O_o Are you saying Heero and Quatre are alike? About the only things they have in common is that they have mastered the ZERO system and possibly their leadership skills however small they may be for Heero.

Think about it though, the two pairings are total oposites of eachother. quatre hates fighting dorthy loves it, Heero Loves to fight and relena does not. they are the same just at opposite ends of the spectrum.

You do have to keep in mind that while Dorothy loves war, she also hates it for killing her family...

Kal's right. Dorothy is a bit complex on that one. She loves the honor and glory of war, but hates the lives that it takes, i.e. her father. Quatre also said that Dorothy reminded him of him when he was younger. I'm guessing he was referring to when he was a spoiled bratt and first met the Magunacs. Since he sees some of himself in her, there might just be a chance for them.

Dorothy is one of those anit-heros you just love to hate and hate to love. But you do. Trust me. It makes sense.
I think Dorothy is my favorite female character in the GW series because she's the least easy to figure out. How like a real woman!
I think Quatre does feel a kinship with her in the end; and to say he likes her is kind of void, considering Quatre likes everybody anyway. xd

I always thought Duo and Quatre were alike in weird ways. 3nodding Anyway, Dorothy... Sorta skeeved me out.

Dorothy has to be one of my favourite characters in the entire series. There's something admirable about the passion she had when she was dualling Quatre and also her intelligence is top notch! I think she's brilliant!

Dorothy Catalonia is an unique character that is developed slowly and throught out the series as she is kind of blurred between good and evil.
One can't really tell if she is one way or the other , only when a person see the whole series one could really know who she is as she is just another victim of war.
I think Dorothy is the same quality like relena (Intelegent , independent , brave ) type but she had undergone like diffrent path and suffered diffrent ordeals and thus make her what she is.
put in short I think she is a blurred out heroine character in the series.
but that is just my opinion.

Actually, you make a very interesting point here. In many ways, Relena and Dorothy are quite similar; they come from similar backgrounds and seem quite alike in terms of temperament and personalities. However, we hit the major change with a single, critical event in both their lives: the death of their fathers. Relena found someone to inspire her to be stronger (Heero), while Dorothy didn't, and had to deal with the pain on her own. As a result, she developed her own interesting coping mechanism: she embraced that which robbed her of her family. That's why we see her break down at the end; she's finally been cornered in the truth, and has to confess it in front of someone who's just like she used to be.
