Nauticah suddenly hopped to her feet, Daichi still laying on the pillow beside her. Gwyn went wide-eyed, "Trawz" he said, and then suddenly he dashed away to the kitchen.
She walked slowly over to the door, and swallowed. Without much hesitation, she opened the door and invited Darrion in.
"Hun...I have something to tell you..." She started, but she soon sighed lightly and went somewhat limp, she couldn't think on how to explain what Daichi was.

Darrion's head tilted slightly, and a slightly chuckle escaped his lips. "Well, can I come in first, at least?" he said, moving into the small house. He'd spent a fair bit of time here, crashing there a few times as his futile efforts to find a home dragged on. He quickly found somthing to lean up against, smiling all the while.
"You have somthing on your mind, obviously. You know you can say whatever, love."
Meanwhile, the pup named Trawz trotted in, and then, at an instant, froze. His large eyes darted left and right, a strange sensation coming over him. His tail went straight as he slowly stalked foreward, leaping up to the bed, and staring at the strange object laying ther. His head turned as he started, before nudging it with his cold nose, and letting out a light 'rrfff' at it as he did.

The small chip twittered loudly so suddenly that it sent Trawz flipping backwards and Nauticah jumped. She rushed over to her precious chip, picking it up and cupping it in her hands.
"Trawz!" She said, turning to the small pup with a dark cast of anger on her face. "Leave Daichi alone! He's just a baby!"
Zwart heard this, for he was sitting on the shelf next to a pile of colorful letters half asleep. He perked up, and scoffed.
"Baby? It's a flippin' chip, he's not a baby."
Nauticah turned to him as well, and felt her teeth grit as she once again donned the motherly glare of disgust. "Leave...Daichi...alone..."
Unfortunately during this, Darrion was completely ignored. She never pondered to respond to him the moment she felt Daichi was in danger.

"Chip? Baby?" the confused young man said, quizicly staring at his girlfriend, taking a step foreward as he did. This was beyond confusing, and that was not somthing he happened to enjoy. His little puppy seemed rather uneffected, happily falling backwards and flipping onto his back, tongue hanging out as he kicked up at the air, desiring a belly rub.
Ignorance is such bliss, no?

"Ai... Um... Darrion...hun..."
"She paid 10k in gold to get a chip that'll be a robotic child of sorts eventually that's an experiment of some coo-coo scientist." Zwart stated flatly as he stared at Trawz. "And why they named you after me I will never know."
"Zwart, my dear half-brother, I think Nauticah would have preferred to state what Daichi is, exactly, as he will be a crucial part in the child's life." Gwyn followed, turning back to Darrion and smiling lightly.
"Crucial part? If I was him, I'd run."
Nauticah's skintone was stark white as she turned to Darrion, clutching the chip in her hands. "...I meant to tell you today, Darrion..."

"I am so lost..." Darrion said, running a hand through his auburn hair and scratching his head as he pondered exactly what was happening. Child? Crucial part? A yak named Carl? Whatever he walked into, it was quite confusing...
Trawz seemed to be come like an ameba as he slithered away from his position and tackled Zwart, nuzzling and licking his namesake as he did.

"AAH MY GOD YOU EVIL DAMNED LEECH OF THE UNDERWORLD, GET OFF OF ME!" Zwart cried, sadly attempting to wiggle from Trawz snuggly grip.
"Daichi is a computer chip, of sorts, which will be inserted into the body of a robotic child... Technically, I'll have a kid. Or a little brother...just however he responds to me." Nauticah replied, her hands shaking slightly as she held Daichi, or the chip that would become Daichi.
((I'm having to play Darrion since my boyfriend is laaaaazzzzzyyyy... But it's ok. x3))
Darrion blinked for a few moments, desperately attempting to process the information given in his mind...but all that resulted in was 'the blue screen of doom' error in his mind. He shook his head, and then proceeded run his fingers through his hair again.
Trawz continued to keep Zwart pinned, licking him happily as he wagged his small tail so quickly it was creating a fan-effect behind him.
Darrion's brain must've came back to life again (a reboot, possibly?) as finally everything clicked together.
"So, we're going to have a kid, who's a robot? In a strange way, this is interesting...but, don't you think we're a little young, Nauticah?"
Nauticah slowly nodded, and proceeded to collapse in the floor. "I've wondered that. But, it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Even if we are young, we'll learn. Doc Albert is there to help, as well... He's the robotics scientist who made the kybernetiks--what Daichi will be. He'll help us. Silvy has one too, her's is Darsais. She's doing quite well with her...so who's to say we can't do it? We are. If we say to ourselves 'we're too young', we are too young. If we believe we can, I bet we could... I suppose I should stop saying we and say 'I', because I can understand if..."
"Nauticah..." Darrion said softly as he bent down on his knees, wiping away a small tear that was trailing down her cheek, "If you want this, so do I."
Nauticah smiled in return, and leaned into Darrion and kissed him gently. Gwyn heard the beep and twitter of the laptop, in which he skillfully lept up on and pressed a few buttons on the keyboard. He read over the e-mail message, and then smiled.
"My fellow occupants, Daichi is ready."

:.: Day 4 :.:
.Doc's Lab. As usual, first entered Zwart and Gwyn through the doors; Zwart waltz over to the desk as if it was nobody's business, and curled up on the papers, while Gwyn simply tottled off to the door, pawing it lightly. A few moments later, Nauticah walked in the front door, her messenger bag slung around her with Daichi kept safely inside the strap pocket.
"Doc left me an e-mail message...Daichi's ready?"

Nauticah blushed slightly, not realizing that Doc Albert was even in the room. "Yes... Daichi? Oh, he's right here, he prolly thinks my taste in music is odd."
She gently unlatches the pouch and removes Daichi, placing him in her open palm. "And he probably thinks Darrion's nuts. He met Darrion yesterday. It went over pretty well, mostly he was concerned because technically, Daichi would be my child, and he thought I am too young to be a mother...but neverthematter..."
She held up Daichi and smiled. "Daichi, the Doc has something for you, you excited?"
Nauticah dearly wished she knew what Daichi was thinking.

Doc Albert Doc nods. "Sounds like you had a good week. Well, it's good to see you and if you'll follow me we'll get right to work." He turns and beckons for her to follow him into the lab.

Nauticah, cradling Daichi in her palms, follows Doc Albert with her tail hanging low in bewilderment. Had Doc finally finished Daichi's body? Would he be as she imagined...?
...would Daichi even like her?

Doc Albert Doc leads Nauticah down a makeshift corridor between towering computer equipment. After a while, it widens into a small cubicle with a child-sized gurney parked in the center. A form on it is covered in a white sheet. Taking Daichi from Nauticah, Doc strides towards the gurney and flings the sheet into the corner. On the platform is a small, tan-skinned boy with blue hair. He is dressed in basically athletic attire and a pair of sneakers. His brown eyes stare blankly at the ceiling.
Doc props him into a sitting position and flips open a panel on the back of his head. "Here we go," he says enthusiastically, and slips the chip into place. Replacing the panel, he exclaims, "Now the magic begins!"
The lights come up behind Daichi's eyes. His body stiffens momentarily against Doc's support as muscle groups come online, only to relax as they identify needs.
"Congratulations," Doc says with a twinkle in his eye. "It's a boy."

She didn't dare move, for she was frozen in surprise... Daichi...had a body. He was a boy, but she knew this, but the simple fact that now he wasn't just a chip in her hand...he looked like a boy. His personality immediately came apparent, as his eyes were bright and he donned a smile on his face once he realized he could.
Nauticah slowly walked over to him, as Daichi moved his legs around the side of the table. She wasn't sure how to react...before Daichi was just a chip, and although she didn't treat him as a chip, he still couldn't really react to much of what she was saying aside from occasionally blinking. Slowly, her hand reached for his cheek...was this her Daichi?
Daichi turned, smiling brightly at her as he did. He found it slightly odd this woman who he wasn't entirely sure who she was yet was silently crying as she rubbed his cheek. That was, until she spoke.
"Daichi...?" She said, her voice almost gone from all the emotions welling up inside her. Daichi then realized the woman who he was staring at was the same slightly crazy but kind woman he had regarded as his mother while he was still a chip.
"Mother!" He replied, his voice young and slightly gravelly sounding, but the cute typical young childlike voice Nauticah had hoped for. He leapt from the table and tossed his arms around her waist. Nauticah broke down, now outright crying as she bent down and picked him up. "Mother...why are you crying?"
"B-be-because, D-Daichi... I'm happy...these are happy tears...okay hun?" She replied. Nauticah's sobbing had caught the attention of the sensitive ears of Zwart and Gwyn, who immediately pushed their way into the lab, and raced to their owner. They wasn't expecting a four-year old boy to be the source of why Nauticah was so emotional. Zwart and Gwyn both stared, but much to anyone's surprise, Zwart figured out what had happened before Gwyn did.
"I think that kid is Daichi." Zwart said, cocking his head slightly. "Cute kid."
Gwyn's eyes went wide, he realized that what Zwart had said was not only true, but indeed it came from Zwart's mouth, not his own. "Yes...it apparently is our young master Daichi, but no longer is he a microchip."
Nauticah thanked Doc with her hoarse voice, and walked out of the laboratory with Daichi in her arms, his legs around her waist. The two were busily talking about what Daichi would like to do, and a bit about how she took care of him as a chipling.
"Darrion's gonna think this is bloody nuts, y'know?" Zwart muttered as he walked out of the lab, a few minutes behind his owner.
"Hopefully not, becauce I wouldn't want to see Madame Nauticah to sob because she is saddened."
"Sob? She's cry a'ight, but then she'd come after 'im with the wrath of a mother...ice whip and all."

:.: Day 16 :.:
.Amist Town. .Barton, Zip 001996, Sector 9.
"Sadly, Madamé Nauticah does not know sports very well...but she is trying." Gwyn muttered as he sat on the windowbox, which was supposed to be growing white daisies. That was until Trawz pulled them out to make a bouquet.
"Yeaaaah... Kinda funny. The kid can kick, dodge, grab, toss, and land any kick or hit or throw he makes. In a way the kid's a born athelete, 'cept he wasn't born... So what is he, a generated athelete?" Zwart replied to Gwyn's statement.
"I shall agree on that, O' Charcoal One."
"CHARCOAL!?! I'm BLACK baby, black as ebony."
And then Zwart was hit in the face with the soccer ball. He squished up against the window before finally pushing the soccer ball off, hissing, and then darting away from the house and up a tree. Daichi ran over to the tree, a worried expression on his face.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry! Are you okay, Kitty?"
Nauticah rushed over, picking up Daichi in her arms and letting him wrap around her. "Oh Zwart, my goodness you're fine. You've taken a steel-toed boot to your face. Remember Halloween?"
"PLEASE do not REMIND me, Woman! How dare you bring up that wretched ball. I got bit by the grunnies, remember?!"
"Zwart, chill, okay? It was my fault anyway." Nauticah snapped, glaring up at Zwart momentarily before carrying Daichi away. She sat Daichi back down, and he picked up the soccer ball again.
"You're still the goaly until you catch one!" Daichi laughed, and then ran over to another tree, close to the edge of the neighborhood, and then he sat the ball on the ground. He paused for a few moments, and then delivered a perfect kick, angled just enough so that as it reached Nauticah, it would curl right around her.
"Oh! I got it I... No I don't."
"GOOAAAALLL!" Naria, the small unicorn squiddle squealed out as she bounced from her perch, which was on the ledge of the window.
"Okay, you got me. That's 10 to zip. You're...really good at soccer, y'know that Daichi?"
"I like soccer, Momma, it's REAALLLY fun. And baseball and basketball...what's the other one?"
"Football? You haven't even played it yet hun..."
"I will though, right?" Daichi replied, smiling brightly as he hugged his mom. "I love you, Mom."
Nauticah's eyes watered slightly as she returned the hug. "I love you too, Daichi."
