The young raven might have almost been around to giggle happily with the game, even the bump as his borthers head collided with his own didn't break the almost joyful grin. Then it all went bad, and the growl was issued. The boy twitched slightly, then quickly backpeddled as swiftly as he could with the mud sloshing and sliding under him. His eyes were wide as he hear the girl speak, and he quickly determined... It had to be his fault. He might not have said the words, but this was his fault. He mouth fell open to try and babble an apology, but not even a squeek escaped him as he finally hit the edge of the mud, and started onto the damp grass trailing dirt behind him.
As if to make things worse Madeline showed up and yelled at him, he looked up at her feeling the world come crashing down, and started to his feet trembling. It was visable this time, all the stress from thinking they all hated him causing the severe reaction as he kept stepping back even as some mud was chucked. Not that he saw, he finally turned, and bolted spotting the nearest tree, and scrambling to it. He nearly slipped a few times due to the slimy mud still sloshing from his form as he went.
Once he reached the tree he rounded it, gasping to himself and still shaking. His wings wrapping around him as he did, and slid to so he was sitting with his back against the tree. Bad, bad. He was bad. Bad birdy. They hated him because he was bad and useless. Flawed. Brother forgave himf or being a flawed mess, but they wouldn't. He was bad. He ducked his head further into the collar which was as filthy as he was, clamping his eyes shut as he did. He was bad. So useless.
His fingers dug into the cloth of his pants as he cluthed them around his legs trying to become as small as he could, choking back a little whine that wanted to come out. "B-bad b-ir-deh..." He mumbled quietly, shaking his head. No crying, crying was bad. Keivlos hated when he cried. Still that wasn't enough to hold back the quick sob that escaped, and with one came many. The single sob turned to a hiccup, and then another sob. Then tears sliding down and mixing with the muck all over his face.
He was a very bad bird, he'd messed up again. No friends, they hated him. He was so useless.
Durring all of this Haruki midly looked up at Madeline decided to intervene, watching with dettached interest for only a moment, and turning back to his book even as the young raven in his charge darted for the tree. What a bother, he'd go get him as soon as he finished the page. The boy would need a moment anyway, it's not like anything he aid would do any good. Still, what exactly was he doing being a 'parent' anyway? He'd never let the child call him dad. Ha he would put up with, but never something that made the suggestion of what it was. It sounded too permanent for his liking if he did.

Madeline screamed and dogged the chunk of mud before it managed to get all over her. She didn't say anything else, but simply stared at Keivlos who was sitting in the mud, sheepish grin on his face. Why was it she got the terrible feeling that he had started all this...yet it was odd unlike Yeesha and Revon who had reacted to her Keivlos...didn't.
Apparently Keivlos didn't react to anything. He didn't react to Yeesha's shouting, he didn't react to his brothers running, he just kind of sat there...giggling, probably even more disturbing than it would have been had he just been sitting there.
Poor Keivlos, he didn't have a clue he had done anything to upset anyone. Rotting? Rotting was beautiful, he hadn't meant for those words to hurt Yeesha. Infact his voice had been full of tenderness as he had said those words. As for Revon? Well...Keivlos didn't pay attention to him...his brother was always doing odd things.
"...Revie, revie...quite contrievie....." He started humming that little nursy rhyme to himself, as he laid down in the mud stretching out his hands and wings. This was...boring...why wasn't there anymore laughter? Keivlos frowned..."Silence...scary..." he didn't say it to anyone in particular, infact the closest thing or person he was talking to was the sky.
He sniffed a little droplet of blood which had been coming out of his nose now again got sucked up. If only he'd had known he would have been thrilled about the red shiny...almost as thrilled as he had been about Yeesha's tail.
"...scary." He repeated as he turned his head to the left and stared off into space.

Despite being in a bit of a sour mood at Keivlos at the moment, he was much safer than an adult. She thumped back over to him in the mud, pausing when she realized that... something... was missing...
Revon.
She looked down at Keivlos as he sat in the mud, a little put off and creeped out by his expression and strange words. She sighed, clenched her fitsts, and counted - just like her Daddy had taught her. Her temper tantrums were a bit more rare, ever since she'd gotten sick she hadn't had much energy or will to fly off the handle like she used to when younger (the hair-pulling-blue-marker incedent with Indigo would never be forgotten).
And besides, she found she rather liked these kids, even if one had called her rotten and the other had disappered. She sighed, offering her tail to Keivlos as a means of a peace offering. "Kay look. I got thick, tho it got icky... and I lotht thome th-caleth." She seemed extremly sad about this indeed. Her scales were part of why she was special, no other kid had them that she knew.
Anyway.. she leaned down, cupping her hand around Keivlos' ear and whispering. "Leth get away from her."
She started backing up, hoping Keivlos would follow, turning full around, however when she heard something not park-like. Wasn't a bird, wasn't a squeeky swing, and it definatly wasn't a bee or someone happy. She followed it carefully back to it's source, stopping just to the side of the tree that Revon was hiding behind. She frowned deeply when she saw him crying, going down on her knees and crawling towards him on all fours in a pace and gait that was much more comfortable and reptilian. "Hey? Wath wrong?"

Of course his brother didn't come after him, Revon wouldn't have expected him to. He didn't exactly wanthim to either, seeing as if he did come, then the younger of the twins would be getting yelled at for leaking. Which was what the older raven liked to call crying. He sniffed quietly, still attempting to stop the stream of tears that were crawling unwillingly down his face.
The boy didn't expect anyone to come, not really Haruki, or his brother. Madeline, the golden haired lady, would be dealing with his brother. He'd be left alone like the naughty little bird he was until he decided to behave again. Which seemed would take a few minutes, as the more he thought about the whole situation and how it seemed like he was making a friend, but now it was all ruined. She was angry, Madeline was angry, Keivlos would be annoyed with him, and Haruki? He'd probly be annoyed as well. He never yelled, but he'd learned to know when the red-head was tired of him for the time being. It happened often enough.
He ran a sleeve over his face to wipe away some of the salty liquid and froze once again as the voice came. He fearfully looked at the girl, not seeming to register that they were meant to calm him down. To show she wanted to know what was bothering him. Instead of the logical reaction of sniffling out a reply a small cry escaped him as he quickly untangled his limbs and began backpeddling away. His side brushed against the tree as he tried to do that, helping him turn a bit more opposite of her to speed up the progress as he did so.
There was some logic behind his action, at least to him it was. Crying was bad, his brother always told him to stop. If his brother cared about him, then this person who hated him seeing that... She'd think he was even worse, even more bad. He didn't want to be seen like that, so the reaction was to get away, so he could hide his face, anything. Not that it worked very well when he was still sitting.

Keivlos looked at the tail for a moment before he reached up to touch it. But his fingers stopped centimeters away from the girls marred flesh."Thcale...". What ever gleefully interest he had had in it moments ago was now subdued with the down play of activity. So he just kept his hands there hovering right near it, in a sort of a wonder filled reverie.
Keivlos stayed still as Yeesha whispered in his ear. Sitting up he looked at Madeline who was tapping her foot impatiently. "Keivlos Crossette, come here at once!" At first he gave her a some what spaced off look, but then his impish side came back and he squawked turning to follow Yeesha. Angry blonde thing was amusing.... but Keivie would go follow girl. With a most evil grin he turned his back on Madeline and wandered off, following Yeesha.
A trail which led him to his sniffling brother. He didn't recognize the look yet, not old enough but it was petrified fear. Of coarse, Keivlos only noticed the tears streaming down the small ravens cheeks. He, like Yeesha frowned. "...Why is Revie leaking again? Something wrong with Revie." His voice was a definite tone as if crying were some sort of odd disease or unnatural.
Had Madeline been more willing to get down and dirty she would have dragged all three of them up and away. However, they were out of the mud...and Yeesha did seem to be trying to stop the now sniffling Revon. For now they were all right. However Madeline stayed put where she was any more trouble and ...well she didn't know what she would do...but she would do it! Even if it did mean getting her shoes dirty. She sighed, taking care of a child was harder than she had pictured.

Yeesha trundled after him, remaining in that awkward looking lizard-like waddle-crawl and yet moving with an impressive amount of skill and speed. She stopped after a while when Revon kept trying to back away, sitting down in the grass, legs spread out in front of her. By now all the bandages save the one around her neck were in tatters.
But the crying child mildly distressed her. What was wrong? Was he hurt? Had she done it on accident? A few times she'd accidently knocked even Hennet off his feet with her tail and others she'd gotten too rough during play and gave a n**.. but she hadn't rememebred doing any of that. Whatever it was, Keivlos wasn't trying to help.
"Ith okay." She took off the bandages around her legs and arms, dropping them off to the side thoughtlessly - they were itchy anyway and her sours, though icky, didn't hurt. She then reached up for the one around her neck. It was relativly clean, and she folded it with all the meticulous carefulness she could muster, pushing herself to her feet again and standing over Revon, holding out the makeshift hankee to him.
After a few minutes she decided she didn't want to wait for him to take it - he didn't seem like he would anyway - and crouched down, reaching out awkwardly to pat at the wet spots on his cheeks. She gave the best smile she could (showing off some sharpish teeth) and made an inarticulate croon as a means to sooth.
Maybe that woman had scared him. She was pretty creepy, trying to get them to come over there like that. "Don't talk to 'tangerth." It was a wise advisement.

There it went, all the doom there could be. He froze as his brother arrived, perhaps registering real fright on his face for the first time. Before he'd simply been nervous, but now... What would his brother think, what would he say? Oh dear, oh dear...
"N-not... l-lee-... leak." He managed to say quietly, trying to deny the obvious for fear of his brother's dissaproval. He once more reached up trying to wipe the traces of the tears from his face, smearing more mud on his sleeves as he did. It didn't do much for the tears though, but it masked them with a new layer of muck so perhaps it had done some good.
What came next was what surprised the boy more, aside from being offered a slightly dirty, but still cleaner than any of them was former bandage, and a pat on the cheek. He was a mess, and being bad, why was she doing that? Keivlos only patted his head when he did something right, and a pat on the cheek was like a pat on the head... right? The boy's face flooded with confusion as he blinked at the girl idly, still sniffling from time to time. At least he'd calmed down, he even picked up the bandage. Though he did offer it to Yeesha instead of using it, trying to crack even the tiniest smile, but failing at it. "Y-you... Yee-yee-sha... i-ill. Need i-tuh... m...more." He stated quietly. "S-so g...g...ge..tuh... b-bett...er." He managed, tugging at his sleeve slightly.
"B-but... 'L-line... n-not..." He mumbled quietly, knowing very well who the blond woman was. Keivlos' mother. Not his though, and Haruki wasn't his father. It was more like... Haruki took care of him because he had to, not that he wanted to. Which was why his brother was so important. His brother actually wanted him around, he loved him because he wanted to. That was why his brother could never hate him, he didn't want that.
He turned to his brother, forcing a tiny smile. "S-see... n-no lee-k..."

Yeesha took the bandage back and gave him a toothy smile. Good, he'd stopped. She was about to lean down to tie the salty, slightly muddy bandage around her tail once more when she was promptly tackled and hugged.
For a few moments she was startled and then she returned it, letting go when Keivlos did. She sat on the ground, tail curving around and over her knee. She reached down and plucked at the grass as she looked at the two. "We're freindth now, kay." It wasn't a question, it was a statement.
Somewhere between the mud slinging and the yelling and sobbing Hennet had woken up. He lifted his head groggily, hair mussed, before realizing that his daughter was not readily within visible site. He was on his feet quickly and striding over toward the tree where he heard her voice. "Yee- Oh my.. Yeesha!"
The alligator girl crained her head around, spotting her father and grinning from ear to ear. She got up and grabbed his hand, pointing over toward her two new friends. "Look! Tha' Revie and tha's Keivlos."
Hennet looked down at the two boys, nodded and giving them a friendly smile. "Hello. Yeesha, what did I say about getting your sores dirty?" He gave a sigh as she looked down at her unbandaged wounds, then looked back up at him as though nothing were wrong. He gave a sigh and picked her up, holding her protectivly in his arms. "Time to go home.. excuse me boys."
"Revie' a girl."
"Huh..?" He looked back down at the child distractedly, no.. he was pretty sure it was a boy. He'd explain it later, for now he wanted to get Yeesha home, give her a bath, and re-wrap her sores. "Say goodbye." He was already starting to walk away with her, albeit slowly so she could bid her new friends farewell.
"Byebye!" She leaned over his shoulder as he walked away to wave to them.

The boy waited a quiet moment as his brother looked up to examine if the statement was true. Certainly it was, or at least he thought so. Perhaps he might still be leaking and just not have realized? The idea worried him somewhat, but when his brother leapt at him licking one of his salty muddified cheeks he assumed he must have been right. The minute smile brightened further as he'd once more qualified to be praised by his sibling again. If anything could bring a smile to his face that was it.
Though the moment didn't last long, and his brother turned his attacking afection to the girl to shower praise on her as well for doing what most found impossible. Halting the freaked out reactions Revie tended to make. The boy rubbed at his face a few more times trying to get the muck and further tears off while the action occurred before glancing at the alligator curiously. Friends? She called them that? So that was good, and since Keivlos liked her... It was good? "F-fr-end-sss.." He nodded mildly in response before jumping to attention.
Someone had just yelled out the girls name and she'd responded. He ducked his head down into the collar as he'd made a habit of doing with all knew strangers while looking curiously at the older man. This was a stranger. Hadn't Yeesha said not to talk to them? His hands lifted up to toy with the cross at his neck before he glanced down at it. It too had become a mess in their games. The mud hadn't bothered Revon until this point, he didn't want his cross messy. No, it would need to be cleaned. He glanced up mildly as the girl introduced them, or more like she listed their names to the man. Then he was talking about sores? The boy didn't understand so much, but the fact that they were leaving was somethign he could comprehend.
He opened his mouth mutely as if to say something regarding it before being titled a 'girl.' The boy snapped his mouth shut curiously before looking at the pair with a slightly dazed expression. A girl? But Haruki and Keivlos said he was a boy. A perplexing thought.
Still he managed a slight wave as the girl called her farewells. Or did temporarily. The other parent getting up had attracted his own keepers attention and the red head took only a moment to assess his thoughts of the situation.
"Revon, you're a mess. It's time to go home and take a bath." Certainly Keivlos being just as dirty wasn't his concern, actually things would be peaceful if Madeline stayed out here for a while. Though he doubted that. It was a certain thing that this mud monster of a raven before him was Keivlos' doing though. The more outgoing of the twins tended to cause a lot of trouble, and not just for Madeline. For everyone. "Come on." He didn't bother to hold out his hand to the boy, and started walking off in the direction of home. Though he did bother to glance over his shoulder after a few steps to make sure the young child was going to come stumbling behind him.
Revon gave a far smaller nod to this demand before giving his brother a quick glance. "I... s-see at h--me, L-lo." He briefly smiled before pushing himself to his feet and trotting a few steps after Haruki. Though he paused to glance back at his brother again seeming to dislike even parting briefly. Still an order from his keeper wasn't to be ignored. Haruki made that clear to him along with the rest of the rules, so off he went tottering along after the tall red-head.

Friends? Keivlos had some trouble grasping that word. In his mind it didn't click. Up until now the boy had never met anyone, nor been with anyone besides Revie. He never thought of his brother as a friend, Revie was...well, Revie. "...friend....." said Keivlos in a quiet short snap. What an interesting word. Started with 'fry' ...and then there was that odd word 'end'. 'Fry end' ....did we cook friends? Somehow Keivlos didn't think that was so. His brothers reaction to the statement was far well received. Then again..Yeesha did look tasty. Icky rotting flesh just waiting for the taking. The raven smiled at the girl, it wasn't...a good thing.
Smile faded as the adult approached,. hissed and slithered out of Hennet's way before he came crashing down and swooped up Yeesha, carrying her off in a cloud of dust, and scolding; briefly acknowledging his brother and himself. It was probably for the best, Keivlos didn't get along with adults very well. At least not Hennet's type...much like Haruki, but Haruki was special. Keivlos liked him, he put up with him for one reason, the "shiny red". Had Haruki had hair the color of dark night much like Hennet, well then...the raven wouldn't have liked him half as much as he did. In fact, they could be enemies.
Speaking of the red shiny, Keivlos grinned. "Hiiiiiiiebyeee....Revie...and Redie...." the freak snaked his way about the ground, moving out of his brother's way too. Red thing was taking Revie away...how sad. The boy shuffled and torqued his body as if to pounce upon Haruki. He was seriously thinking about it...but the fact that his brother was in his arms stopped the creature. Keivlos had a feeling that if Revie fell in the mud again he might go leaking, especially if Red thing were to begin shouting at him for ill behaving. Reivie hated it when brother got shouts and upset calls.
"Ready to go?" The Raven's eye's darted up to the shiny blonde thing behind him. Mother. The raven hissed, squealed and clawed his way up Madeline into her arms with a jump. "KEIVLOS!" The woman nearly dropped him. "Hevans to Betsy, I had just had this dry cleaned..." she said with a annoyed look on her face. But the look softened with a nuzzle from Keivlos; whom didn't do it out of love but was simply trying to take advantage of her or something...
Soon the two departed and the park was once again empty. "...friend." Whispered Keivlos as Madeline made it to the car. "Oh?" She replied giving her son a smile. "Did you make one?"
The raven said nothing.
"...Friend taste good."
