Thanda did what she needed. She ran fast, able to keep cutting the creature off till it at last stumbled. Thanda just jumped on top of the body to stop it getting up. Adem just needed to kill it quick, she didn't like being thrown around by food!

Good thing Adem wasn't so much behind Thanda, eh then? The sunspot leaped, grabbing the part of skin just below the neck. Curses! That wouldn't do! He snarled again, dropping his hold before doing it again. If he hadn't caught it, sure enough the gazelle would soon die from the two wounds on her neck, but he had managed to snag it.
He held on tightly, swaying with the form of the struggling female before she collapsed, her breathing slowly departing from her body. With a final bite, it stopped completely, leaving two exhausted cheetahs and their kill.
"Dig in!" He said cheerfully, licking his maw.

Thanda just collapsed to begin with, panting a little. She then raised her head to check for any other predators before she took her first bite. "Woah.. that was a good run!" She spoke while chewing, most unlike a lady! She was quite happy though, eating with her friend even though her legs felt like jelly.

Adem nodded. "See.." He breathed out, grinning even more. "I...am...a fast...runner!" He said triumphantly, continuing to gnaw on the gazelle's neck. When he hit the edible portion, he dove in. Mm there was nothing like regaining his energy then feasting on a small doe.
Once he had his fill, he moved from the carcass, watching around. If predators wanted it, they'd have to wait for Thanda to be finished. But as of now, he just licked his paws, cleaning the blood from his maw.

Thanda took longer to eat, she had always taken forever to eat but then she always ate more. She always said it was because you had to make food stores for when you got pregnant but whether that was true or not, well, she may find out one day.
As she finished she licked the blood off herself and turned to Adem and smiled. "Maybe.. once you grow you can run faster, might kill faster to!" She chuckled and looked to the sky. A drink now and to find some shade to rest, I wont be running like that again for a while!

"Maybe...But we'll see when I get older!" Adem smiled. "I think we passed a waterhole before we arrived here. Nothing like washing the taste of blood done in the hot mornings then a cool drink from the waterhole, right?" He nodded, walking off, looking over his shoulder, waiting for Thanda to follow.

She followed him with a cheeky smile on her face. She wa all to happy to have a bath and a nice refreshing drink. It would sooth her throat, which was always a nice feeling!

The waterhole was cool. "There." He said quietly, moving slowly into the water before lapping it up. Ah, the cool dripping down his throat. He rested his chin in the water, enjoying the liquid moving slowly around the limb before sitting back up. Now, it was time for a nap!
He looked around, spotting a cluster of trees. Yawning, he trotted over to them, watching Thanda before laying back down. "See you when the sun goes down? We can go traveling some more then!" Adem said, yawning again. He liked this traveling thing, it was fun!

Once at the water Thanda rolled in the shallow waters to cool off her body. She then lapped up some before following Adem.
The shade of the tree's was nice and it made her feel very comfortable! She nuzzled him as she laid down next to him. "Yeah, we can move on somewhere later..." She then closed her eyes and let herself doze off for her nap.
