I think Romans 1:27 is pretty clear on what God's intentions were:
"In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

Hmm ... I'm trying to understand what you're asking here.
"The repenting" thing you're referring to I think can best be explained as just a genuine guilt about having done something wrong. Not to be confused with shame, because shame is dwelling on past wrongs and feeling sorry for yourself, which keeps you from being able to go forward and grow in your faith. Guilt is just a "Oh ... I screwed up. Man, I'm sorry. I'll try not to do it again." And that's really all repenting is. It doesn't require a priest (as a Catholic might tell you); it doesn't even require another person at all. All it requires is a contrite heart- one that is asking to be forgiven- and Jesus.
It's like going behind your friend's back and doing something they asked you not to (such as tell a secret or make plans with someone for a big get together that they wanted to have some say in, whatever). Typically, if you really are friends with that person, you're gonna feel bad for breaking their trust. To repent to that friend, it would be a matter of apologizing, and making an effort not to let it happen again.
And it doesn't matter what sin you're committing- the pennance for each is the same. Going to Christ with your sin and asking Him to take it away, asking Him to forgive you for backstabbing Him, for betraying His trust. It doesn't matter if you stole a candy bar from a gas station or murdered a mother of three and her children.
Did that answer your question?

Haha, yeah. I check this pretty much everyday. Unless it's the weekend; I'm usually not around during the weekend, but during the week I check this everyday if I can.

simple, it's God and the Bible, the Bible makes clear what sin is, what you can and can't do...the 10 commandments, are a good example they clearly say what to do and what not, if you don't follow God's word that is sin...
