Calli fidgets a little. She'd never really gotten control of her tail much. After a few seconds of annoyance, she stams a paw down on the end of her tail, forcing herself not to make a noise from the pain. The end puff is motionless, but begins to flick within seconds.

The adult tried to ignore it, but it was hopeless. There was someone else .. but who? She turned back to Zeph.
"You here sumfin'?"

"Zephy is not a sweet name. It's demeaning. Only my Ma can call me that." She frowned when Tou asked if she'd heard anything, straning her ears for some sort of sound for a few moments before shrugging. "I don't hear a thing."

Tou scrunched up her nose, muttering something about cute names.
"Ahem, anyway. You sure you can't hear anything? I swore I heard some sort of ... flickering?"

Calli freezes immediately, but her tail keeps a steady thumping against the ground.

Tou stood up quickly, foot stamping against the car.
"RIGHT, that's it. I DID hear something. I shall go ... and INVESTIGATE!" she announced, leaping off the car onto the dusty ground.

She rolled her eyes at the comment, watching in mild interest as Tou leapt off the car. "Fine. Investigate. I'll just..." She trailed off a moment, eyeing the pair of humans in trepidation. ...maybe she didn't want to just stay here. "I'll just..go with you..." Yeah...she'd been planning to say that all along. Really.

She smiled, fishing bits of grass out her fur.
"Hum, I think we shall start by looking under the car!" she exclaimed. Shall you, or I?

She sighed and edged closer to the car - were all adults this weird? "I guess I'll look," she said, ducking down for a glance beneath the car.

Calli presses up against the tire, hoping any residue will blend with her black stripes. Her tail finally calms, and she holds it in her paws to prevent any more thumping.

Tou giggled, noticing the childs expression. "Nothing there, no?"
Jamie was getting impatient, flailing around in the car boot, checking that she'd packed everything. She had noticed Calli dash behind the car, but decided to leave it. Was Phoo coming? Or just Calli?

Jaclyn leaned against the side of the car, glancing down at the pair of skull monkeys every now and then to make sure Zephyr hadn't wandered off.

"So far, on the trip we have me and Tou, Claia and Chiyo, Kor and Hanyuu, Jaclyn and Zephyr .. if anyone else is interested I'd suggest they appear soon."

Calli's ears perk up. A trip? Well..
She pokes her head out from behind the tire. "Me too, I'd like to come," she says, making herself known.
