Issildia remained silent for a brief moment before turning to face him, her voice grave as she cut straight to the matter at hand
"I happened upon Jadea...I am certain you remember her" she added with slight disdain.
"She surrendered information concerning a necromancer that has taken up residence in Natori...I doubt that the information she supplied is true in any sense. And even if it is...she gave it up far too easily, I doubt that she ever ceased aiding the Ryera. But her lies tell more than she would have otherwise known or offered...at least now we can use these implications to gain a better insight into the workings of this Infinitus group."

Azure raised an eyebrow at her words. He was indeed familiar with the name Jadea...it was one that he would not forget...he despised her almost as much as he despised the Ryera bloodline. Upon the mentionning of a necromancer within this region, he began to think to himself. Diciding it would be best to inform her of what they may be up against, Azure crossed his arms and let out a light breath, before he made his statement. It was surely one that Issildia would rather not have heard.

"Perhaps there is more truth to her words than you may believe." He said in a somewhat subtle tone. "When I arrived here, I was attacked by a group of Yakayu. I am sure you are falmiliar with them. It would take a Necromancer to raise them into this Realm. However, that is not what disturbs me. These particular Yakayu, were descended from Tyranius...the Dragon of Stone. In other words, somehow, the Descendants of Angellus have awakened...and have possibly aligned themselves with the enemy. It would take a Necromancer of great power to raise a Draken into this world...the only ones I have met with this trait would be those of Ryera blood. As much as it pains me to say, her words may hold some truth."

"Yes...I see your point, but we can not rely upon her testimony..." Issildia said as she rested her hand lightly on the hilt of her blade, turning away slightly... "And if the Descendants of Angellus have indeed awakened...and joined with the enemy...it will not be long before the enemy makes a definitive move, making their motives and goals known. But if the Ryera are involved...as well as one of my blood, I do not see why the Infinitus would have waited until now to make their presence known. I can only assume that neither the Ryera or a Nevar is the leader of the Infinitus." she said grimly. "Someone else is leading them, someone with the time and patience to wait until the opportune moment."

Azure only thought to himself about the current situation. He was at a lost for words as Issildia made her comment. When suddenly it hit him...there was one other who completely fit the description she provided. This was only intuition, but it would have made far more sense than the information given to them by Jadea. As he thought more on the subject, he began to walk toward the direction of Celeste. The more the thought on this situation, the more eager he became to find an answer.

"That would explain why....Issildia, I believe we should not delay any longer. I have a feeling that we are expected." He said mildly. "If my intuition serves me correctly, I believe their Leader will soon make his presence known."

Issildia offered no other comment at this, for they both understood the implications wrought by the situation.
Without tarrying for another moment Issildia wordlessly followed after.
She could only hope that Kyrion would arrive with information before they reached Celeste, she would prefer to know a bit about the enemy before being forced into a confrontation.
Not to mention that she wanted everything to be resolved before the remaining members of the council happened to arrive. Already they had to be some distance behind them, but should their investigation in Celeste take longer than anticipated, there would most likely be an unavoidable meeting between themselves and the remaining members of the council; a number of which she had hoped would stay behind during this mission. Even though Issildia made an effort to stay well informed on the workings of the council, politics were not her forte. Even now maintaining the Regency of Larovia was a chore that she would prefer to avoid, but it was a necessary duty that hat to be dealt with if she wished to remain free of the trappings of monarchy. Other than those duties Issildia had little use for politics and the preservation of ties to the council.

"So tell me...what is your impression of the Council?" Issildia asked cooly as they neared Celeste a short while later.

Azure let out a light chuckle as the words that Issildia spoke entered his ears. Laughter was an emotion that he showed rarely. Issildia Nevar was one fo the few who had ever seen a smile upon Azure's face...one that held no malice toward another soul.

"I think they are all incompetants. They are prositutes to their own ambitions, and do not deserve the position they have been granted. That is from the veiw point of Azure. From Origin's view, a human would be better fitted to lead that council."

"Yes...Incompetent is a gentle way to put it I suppose. They could all do with a bit of humility." she said with a slight smile, noting that a few of the council members deserved a far harsher criticism.
"I have no doubt that a number of them will be more trouble than their worth during this endeavor. Perhaps they should have simply remained behind; the investigation of Celeste will be complete by the time they arrive...But Agara insisted upon their cooperation...He hopes for something that the council members are not yet ready to accomplish."

Azure only nodded to her comment conerning the head of the council. There was somethng about him that did not sit well with Azure. To allow such behavior from the other council members was not suiting of a leader. It was almost as if their behavior was accepted. The humans may be a weaker race, but even in their few numbers, they have managed to survive crisis after crisis with little to no help from the outside world. As Celeste came into view, Azure's eyes narrowed, taking on theri darker tones of jade as the whites of his eyes faded into the flames that consumed his vision. His pace slowed just enough for Issildia to notice it, as he the smile on his face sunk back into nothingness. The air shifted around the two of them, and Azure suddenly took hold of Issildia and snatched her into his arms.

As he held her, a large spear had impaled himself into the ground. Looking into the air above, Azure found a legion of Maharan Lancers floating in the air above. Azure could feel the same presence from them as he did the swordsmen he fouhgt earlier. A large battle cry sounded off, and the Maharan Lancers all began a swooping motion towrd the two of them. They bore the same crest as the others that he and Kurhoa had slain, seemingly they were of the same faction, however, these particular Maharans bore skinned wings. They were not truly maharan, but they were diguised as such. As Azure finally released his hold on Issildia, he gazed down at her, and stared into her eyes. His words held more sincerity than she had ever heard from him.

"Issildia. I want you to go. These beasts...they have come for me. I do not want you involved with them just yet. When I return, I will explain everything."

As he released her, he held his hand out toward the first of the Lancers that pursued them. The leadign lancer suddenly stopped in mid air, holding its throat. It was as if Azure had a grasp on the creature from his position on the ground. As he closed his fist, the agonizing screams of the lancer could be heard as its bones snapped one by one. Once Azure opened his hand once more, the lancer fell to the ground, its armor crushed and contorted by some unkown force. Azure then drew his blades, Dark Sentinel and Kamakaze, and stared at the legion heading his direction.

"Go....NOW!!!"

With that, Azure's cape had burst into flames burning into nothing as his wings spread from his armor. Black feathers surrounded them as the winds began to pick up. With a mighty thrust of his wings, he launched himself into the air and headed straight into the darkened skies of Natori to battle with the enemy. These warriors who were seemingly looking for him, were ones that he had encountered long before his imprisonment within Baledon Sukiyo. He was anxious to do battle with a worthy opponent, but at the same time...for the first time in six millenia, he was unsure if he would return. If all he had suspected was true, should they capture him, their leader would not grant him a punishment leass than complete death. This was the time to confront the enemy face to face. Not only for his own sake, but to gather what little information he could in order to aid his cause. Whether he walked away from this battle or not...that decision was in the hands of the fates.

Perhaps during her first life Issildia would have not thought twice about ignoring Azure's words and entering into the battle, but she was no longer that person. The memories and essence of an entire race that had abandoned existence thousands of years before the destruction of Anier now aided in guiding her actions.
She sensed that something was different about this battle and the foe that was its catalyst...something that Azure had some familiarity with. And if this new enemy had once taken part in his past, before she had met him...then she had no choice to trust his word.
Yet this did not mean she would so carelessly forsake him to the enemy... After all...not all of her former self had been changed by the avariera blood that now flowed through her veins.

As she stood there, her cloak catching in a wind that suddenly rushed by....there was a subtle change in the air that could literally be described as the calm before the storm.
Before...when Issildia had been merely an anierian half-blood...manipulating the environment to such a degree would have been nigh impossible. But now it was merely a subtle show of power.

Dark clouds rolled in from the seas to the east at a rate that could not be even remotely labeled as a natural occurrence. Lightening flickered above as the wind quickened and the sky grew ever darker.

Then, as Issildia turned away slightly as if to leave, there was a sudden crash of thunder...the preceding bolt of lightening striking one of the winged beasts.
Another lighting bolt lanced out of the sky and struck a second beast, yet all the while the lightening never appeared to come near where Azure did battle.
Control was Issildia's forte, as she never wished to allow her power to rule her as her father had. The storm would merely target the enemy, regarding Azure with little interest, leaving him to do what was necessary to defeat his opponents.

Without waiting a moment more Issildia's form was suddenly consumed by sapphire colored flames; of which flickered out the moment that her form dissipated. The storm she had summoned would only last a short while longer since she had departed from the immediate area, but hopefully Azure would finish what he set out to do long before then.

As Issildia's spell struck down lancer after lancer, Azure was deeply engaged in combat with this unknown foe. His blades sliced through their bodies with ease as he made his way toward the center of the group. There was a strange, yet familiar aura emanating from the being who led this legion, and Azure was anxious to solve the riddle of their identity. As the lightning halted its assault, the last of the lancers' corpses fell to thw earth. Now, all that stood before him was the Lancer's leader in all her glory.

"So...it was you....Vitalynie." evil

"So nice to see you again...brother." She said with an erie grin on her face. "I was beginning to think you may have been killed by one of my minions. I am relieved that you save me thehonor of killing you myself."

"How did you escape? Was it Yige?" He asked as his grip inhis blades tighened.

"Oh no. It was not Yige....Or should I say....Not Yige alone."

"And the others?" He asked curiously.

"Yes, they have been granted the same gift. You on the other hand...your brothers and yourself...your lives are no longer required for our goals. I would love nothing more than to kill you where you stand....but there is another who requests your presence. You will come with me, whether you are conscious or not."

Hykoshi stood miles away, on the crest of a hill, waiting for his troops. He smiled, the others doing a fine job indeed. He held his wife close, she dressed for war, and stood next to Jinzo, who had a sickening smile on his face. "Why do we wait?" Hykoshi looked sharply at him. He refused to fight without his peoplke, who should arrive soon.
"You know wh-" He was interrupted, as he saw his people came over the crest of a hill just a quarter mile away. The people hadmade it rather quickly, and found him rather quickly, as Hykoshi had anticipated. Roughly seventy archers were divided into groups in the front, followed by the heavier troops, and then a few of the spell casting warriors, and finally with the majority of other warriors, with archers taking the rear. From what Hykoshi could see, only one person was out of line. Perfect. He waved upwards, and the leader, Kylie, immediately marched the group towards him.

((I hope this is all right Crow, and dont post chimera till she says so))

Issildia reappeared in a waver of shadow, a short distance from where Hykoshi and his people were gathering.

Without hesitation she approached him with an unreadable but clearly grim expression splayed across her face.

"Do you send them to the slaughter so soon Hykoshi?" Issildia demanded as she finally arrived at his position.
Without berating him further, Issildia alerted Hykoshi to the situation.
"The enemy has made their move...I can not linger here long as there is much to be seen to. But I caution you against sending in troops at this moment...before the night's end my people will have information on the matter and we will then be better prepared for an offensive strike. Sending you forces now will merit a result that I doubt will be to you liking."

Hykoshi nodded, a stern look coming into his eyes, and he looked off, his eyes glinted with an inner storm if thought, and he spoke, "Well, I will make a defensive station here, fanning out my archers on the crest of this hill, and dig a wall into the side behind us, to make a place we can think out things. I have people who can fortify it." He waved his hand, and held up three fingers, and then making a fist. The people made an egg-shaped formation with archer's on the perimeter.

As Hykoshi concluded his statement there was the subtle flicker of shadowed forms at the edge of their vision, yet Issildia did not seem concerned of this, for soon enough a winged form descended from the dark sky to land to her right.

"Kyrion...I assume you have been alerted to the situation. Word travels fast it seems." she remarked dryly, yet Kyrion made no comment, his expression unreadable as he spoke.
"When do you want me to give the word?" he questioned.

"Patience...we shall wait until the situation calls for such measures. Have everyone take their positions...move on my mark but only if we are needed...in most instances Azure can deal with his enemies alone; with any amount of luck that trend will continue." she answered before glancing at Hykoshi for a brief moment in subtle regard before her form disappeared in a waver of darkness.

"Understood." Kyrion stated while ignoring Hykoshi's presence; only to immediately take to the air, the flickering forms of Iliriya warriors moving in the background towards where Kyrion and Issildia had once again departed towards.

Azure found himself on the receiving end of a series of attacks from his opponent, whom he knew as Vitalynie. She was seeming faster than even he was. Her talents with the element of the wind exceding those of his own. It has been some time since he had felt such pain, and needless to say, he was enjoying every moment of this battle. After some time battleing in the air, Vitaliynie delivered a devastating Backflip-kick to the top of Azure's head, bring her foot crashing down onto him, and sending him plummetting back twoard the earth. His impacted caused a cloud of dust to rise from the ground. The taste of his own blood filled his mouth, as it was forced from his body as a result of her assault. He looked at his blades, Kamakaze and Dark Sentinel...their metals had begun to shatter. This even in itself was a shock to him, for they were more than mere weapons to Azure. They were the very items that allowed him to control the powers of his alter ego...Origin.

"It appears that I may have underestimated you." He said as he sheathed his blades. "The powers of the Dailontra have granted you a strength that even exceeds my own. And still, you have no hopes of defeating me."

"What did you say!?!" She said Confusedly. "That doesn't make any sense at all. Look at you. Your wounds are far more severe than even you can recover from Azure. What makes you think that you will win?"

"It is simple...I am already dead." twisted

It was then that Azure's form faded from sight, reappearing above Vitalynie, his foot impacting hard with her back in an axe kick that sent her hurling toward the earth. Before her impact however, she found herself suspeneded in the air, by an unknown force, her back arched as each vertebrate in her spinal collomn slowly cracked. Azure's form had reappeared beneath her. He was holding her above his head with one arm, as his other form, took grasp of her soul, from his position in the air. His eyes now glowing with a green flame as a maniacal smile appeared on his face. The crystal colored silhouette of her soul had begun to rise from her body, as the darkness of the flames that burned on Azure's shoulders made their presence known. An earshatterring shriek echoed throughout the area, and Vitalynie's body fell to the ground.

Azure's form tha was suspened in the air disbursed into black flame, and the one on the ground, found his chest impaled by a large blade. He dropped to his knees, and took hold of the blade, only to find a gigantic warrior standing over him, his hand gripped around the hilt of the blade. The mere size of the blade, as it passed through his flesh, caused his blades, Kamakaze and Dark Sentinel to completely break apart. The spirits which were bounded whithin the blades were released, and the shot into the air above, only to make a u-turn and dive back into Azure's body. As the last of them entered his body, the large warrior oulled th blade from Azure's flesh and allowed him to slump over to the ground. He was motionless, but his aura could still be sensed by the two who stood over him. As he lifted Azure to his shoulder, he addresed Vitalynie with little regard to her efforts to capture him.

"This one belongs to me. Go find the other two." He said coldly.

"Tyranius!" She exclaimed.

"This matter is not open for discussion. You have your oders. Go."

Vitalynie clutched her fist as the warrior whom called himself Tyranius marched toward the city of Celeste which was now under martial law. He paid little head to the armies that were gatherring around the city as he knew that it would not be long before they met with a similar fate. What he was planning to do with Azure, was a mystery to all parties concerned....even to himself.
