"I DIDN'T KILL YOU! I SAID IT WAS MY FAULT! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!"
Saix fell back into his chair...
"I don't know! Ok?! I don't remember!"

"I AM PAYING ATTENTION!!"
For once he actually screamed back instead of shrinking away from Saix.
"You said it was your fault! That could have meant you killed me! I'm not an idiot damnit I'm trying to figure this out!!"
Demyx whined, burying his face in his knees as the tears continued to flow.

Saix stared at Demyx.
"The way you are now, you're useless to everyone."
With that, the conversation was over. But Saix still wanted to say one last thing.
"Guess you know who to blame for all your problems now, don't you?"
Saix left the room, left Demxy there crying, and still felt nothing.

Useless. There was that horrible word again. He was, wasn't he? Just absolutely worthless, a burden on the Organization rather than an asset.
Yet, for once, the words seemed to light a fire in Demyx, rather than dampen his spirit.
"SAIX! Get back here!!!"
The blonde leaped to his feet, bursting out of the kitchen with a snarl.
"DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE!!"

Saix turned his head slightly. An emotionless face met Demyx's gaze.
"If you don't sit down right now I will personally see to it that this time, I kill you personally."

Arms hung by his side, the young Audio simply staring at Saix.

Saix just stared.
"Demyx, I have no heart, I don't care about anything I wouldn't hessitate to snap your crybaby neck right now. I would kill you. That is no lie. And you probably are too pissed off to want to know anything else. So, you either go and eat your damn cookies, get yourself a nightcap from your lover, and leave me alone. Listen to what I have to say. Or end your life. Pick whichever you want. I simply don't give a s**t.

How had Saix known----eh better not to ask...
"I...can't believe you...I can't believe how you're acting!"
Demyx tried his best to wipe the tears away, keeping his eyes on Saix.
"I just wanted to learn....you of all people should know that! I met you first..."
Ears flat, the blonde took his chances and slowly stepped closer to Saix.
"You have no heart...and neither do I...but what you do hurts Saix...can't you see that? You surely can't have totally forgotten what it was like to feel..."
Demyx, who had known nothing when Saix had first met him, was finally catching on to their past...or at least letting it be known that he wasn't a total airhead, he DID have an idea of what was going on around him.
"If you truely can't feel, then you would have killed me long ago...you haven't. Somewhere in there you care...I know you do....stop trying to hide it!"

Saix lost it, he went berserk and reached to grab Demyx's neck.
"Listen Demyx! You don't seem to understand! I CAN FEEL! BUT I CANNOT FEEL ANYTHING GOOD! I feel hate, and sorrow, and pain! That is ALL! You have NO idea what that is like and I don't expect you to! I wish this burden on no one! Feel grateful that I don't kill you now! The only thing keeping me back is the horrible things that I CAN feel! But I can only feel these things at MYSELF! I hate everything because I hate myself! So, kindly, SHUT THE HELL UP!"

The blonde squeaked as he found Saix's hand wrapped around his neck, his own paws instinctively reaching up to grab the arm.
"You keep saying that, but you won't do it! I know you won't! You're not the type to be patient Saix, if you wanted to kill me I'd already be dead!"
Well...according to Saix he HAD been dead. Oi this was complicated... Demyx whimpered, tugging at the hand around his neck.
"Saix...sir...please....I want to help you....let me do that?"
Despite the way Saix had been treating him from the very start, Demyx couldn't help his nature. He didn't want fights with anyone, he didn't want to feel hatred...he just wanted to help everyone and make things better.
"I'm not useless...and I'm not stupid! Stop treating me like a kid and let me help!"

Saix slammed Demyx's head against the wall.
"You ARE a child! And no one can help me! I know Demyx, I have tried getting help, there is no helping someone who is too far in the void. YOU FIND YOUR DAMN HEART AND RUN AWAY! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!"
Saix growled, Demyx could easily get his heart back, he already had it anyway. Maybe not the physical heart, but his emotions were there, and that is truely what a heart is anyway...right?
"You are useless Demyx, you are useless to me, and so you should be treated like it!"
With that Saix threw Demyx on the table infront of them smashing it to pieces.
"FOLLOW ME AND DIE!"
Calming his berserker state, he left the room, slamming the door behind him so hard the hinges ripped from the wall.

The initial blow disorientated Demyx, and the blonde was forced to simply listen, groggily, as Saix ranted on.
"But..."
And that was all Demyx was allowed before his body met the table, the piece of furniture smashing from the force of Saix's throw. He wanted to get up...wanted to follow Saix despite the warning and prove that he wasn't worthless...
But he couldn't. The pain radiating from his head was enough to keep him down, and now his coatless form was rather bruised from the remnants of the table. Despite the pain, Demyx had a fleeting worry of what that spear guy Xigbar had warned him about would think of this....
"Saix..."
Demyx groaned, eyes sliding shut. He wasn't unconscious, but for the moment he'd just lay there and wait for some of the pain to hopefully stop.

 Demyx had gone for coffee and breakfast, it did not take that long to get either of thoes things. Getting up and draging his coat on he headed from his room toward the kitchens.
As he neared the hallway he could hear a comotion. Quickning his steps he hoped the Demyx had not gotten into trouble.

Saix passed Luxord in the hall. Glaring at him. "Go pick up Demyx's pieces before he gives up his emotions like I did."
Saix wandered away from Luxord at this point...he was sick of everyone now. "Total slaughter...total slaughter...I won't leave a single man alive..."

His shoulders stiffened slightly. "What did you just say." He knew letting Demyx go get breakfast by himself was going to end up in trouble.
The little blond was already unstable as it was. If Saix had told him something...
