Wii is the only system that I am buying for sure, so far. I'm not sure I'll be willing to pay over $500 for the PS3, when it's released. And I'm waiting for Microsoft to offer some better titles before I consider the purchase of a 360. Everything I've read about the Nintendo Wii so far has made me very excited for it's release. Plus it just has a cool exterior design. heart

That bad, huh? Actually, he's a sony fanboy or a nintendo fanboy. So he has no idea what it does wrong or doesn't. I mean seriously, Why buy a ps3 when the 360 does the same crap. same games. Don't give me any crap about final fantasy either. Why would any true final fantasy fan want to play that peice of s**t display called ff13? I'll be getting a 360 and a wii. Why? I'll tell you why. Because I can buy both of those for the price of a sony ps3 and btw mgs fans, mgs4 will only be ps3 exclusive for about 2-3 months. I'm pretty interested in these planned A/o games for the wii.

I think it's safe to say that I do upgrade my systems. I mean, remember when I told you about how I have the thing for the GC that plays Game Boy games and how I'm going to end up getting a DS eventually? That has some games for it I want, and there's no question that I'll be getting a ps3, it's just a matter of when. There's no way one of them would be less than $200, by that time (if it did get that low), there would probably already be a ps4, maybe even a ps5, so.. Being you don't have many games for it, I would suggest you go with the one that's lower priced. According to what someone else posted here, free internet with it would be great..I'd be very happy, especially if the Jak game that should come out on it would be for that according to some website though the system it would be on wasn't confirmed I believe.

Gideon Starorzewski Wii. Most innovation, best price. 360 can bite me and die. I would argue that the 360's online setup is pretty ******** innovative when it comes to console games. Sure, it's nothing new to PC gamers, but even the leading PC online games don't have the kind of online community interface that Xbox 360 does. And plus, I think it's just a damn good machine. But I do like the Wii a lot. PS3 looks pretty awful in my opinion, because it's shown very little original properties, and just hasn't really shown off anything that strikes my fancy. They've shown off beat-em-up after beat-em-up and FPS after FPS and sandbox game after sandbox game. There's MGS4... but that's ONE game, and I'm not even that much of an MGS fan anyway. The FF games for PS3 look like jokes IMO. And the fact that Sony has made up all these ways that the PS3 is going to function, other than as a video game system, shows their lack of confidence in their product considering how NONE of these so-called multimedia features that have recently been "unveiled" (without actually being shown in action...) were being shown off at E3. I mean, I can see the PS3's draw for a certain demographic, but it's not me. Not yet, anyway. The PS3 isn't even out yet, so I can't really fully judge whether I want one or not.

The best conventional controller in gaming history (well, that's the common opinion, anyway) A nice array of games Xbox Live Arcade (updated old titles, and unique titles from little known companies really suck, huh?) The Xbox Live service itself

It's a Blu-Las-alert! Those Blue Laser goons are going to take gamers' money with their PlayStation 3 and use it to construct a super weapon that will make it snow at the beach!
*gasp*
Itagaki: "But what about beach volleyball?"
There won't be any beach volleyball!
*GASP* *dramatic music*
---------- I found that on Kotaku's boards, and couldn't help but post it here 3nodding

A lot of things I've heard from PS3 users are at different ends of the spectrum. Some love it, while others hate it and trade them in for 360s. I love my PS2, but the PS3 kind of frightens me. I was told that there are a lot of unlockables that you have to go in and pay for online after spending the 500$-600$USD for the PS3 alone. A lot of it sounds like PS3 kind of sold out or that PlayStation/Sony as a whole is trying to make up for the severe drop in sales of the PSP, which, if that is the case, makes me want to endorse the PS3 even less. Overall the PSP flopped to the newest Nintendo handheld, and can you really compare? Nintendo has been doing handhelds for years.
I'm really pushed off of the PS3 mostly because of the insane price. I could buy a new computer for that much, or get a 360 + a few games for that price and be set for severral months with what I had before thinking about getting more. Even next year when the price has dropped, it will still be about 400 dollars. That's being generous. PS2's, new, still sell for a little over 100USD, a few years later.
I've also heard a lot of complaints about the PS3 controllers that "cool your hands," that they in fact freeze your freaking fingers and make them stiff instead of just cooling them. That seems a little outrageous... If you're playing PS3 so long that your hands are too slippery to hold a controller then you need to go outside and take a freakin' walk.
As far as the Wii. Wait to buy until after all the recalls are taken in and the new version is put out - for the sake of your t.v. screen. But it does look pretty freakin' awesome. domokun
