kurikim I ADORE this series! Yukuri Sugisaki is my favorite artist, and DNAngel is my favorite series of hers. I'm boderline obsessed. heart *Giggles* So am I. ^^ kurikim I have up to the seventh manga and the second DVD, though I'm going to be getting the third very soon. Wendy, you're correct, the Anime series started getting created before the manga series ended. Sugisaki had her hands in both projects though, so both are fantastic. The anime is defintely very different from the manga, but I like that personally. Espcially since all the characters are still true to who they are in both versions. What I mean is, the the characters have the same personalities, so though the storyline is different, the integrity of the series was left intact. Yeah! I got something right. ^^ You've made my day now. And that's a good thing, I'd have disliked it if they're personality weren't the same... especially Daisuke's mother. ^^ kurikim The opening song to the Anime does rock, the soundtrack is worth having. The song is called Caged Bird btw. Really? How strange, animelyrics.com said that the opening song was byakuya ~True Light~ I think... the page won't load for me. stare kurikim Does anyone know any good fanfics for this series? I've gone looking, and come up pathically empty handed. Most of what I found was unrealistic drivel, driven by badly written kiss scenes with completely OOC characters (which I hate, because I love the characters just as they are. Besides the fact that it's not to hard to make a Yaoi out of this series without resorting to changing the characters or anything. Spoliers: (Removed since there's no grey colour) Sadly I don't know any... that's why I started this thread up. crying Spoiler: I'm not sure about Dark being straight... he does seem to hit on Daisuke a few times, he just hits on girls more. ^^ And I know what you mean about Satoshi turning into Krad when he's around Daisuke. After all, it states that he can only turn into Krad when he cares about that person. So he's got to care about him.

Sesshomaru_fan_13 Geh, I have soo been dieing to see the anime and read the manga!
From what I've heard, it's really good!
If only I wasn't broke too...
gonk crying It is a really good series. And I wish that I wasn't broke too. I'd be able to buy my own copies instead of having to borrow them off my friend.

Atarigurl14 *hugs all her DNAngel mangas* I love this manga series. heart heart heart DNAngel is one of my favies, if not my favorite. I've got vol. 1-6 and waiting for the 7th one. whee I haven't seen the anime yet, but when I get money I will own it. tehe. Anyways, my fav. pairing is, Dark/Daisuke. xd I like all the other pairings as well. I'm not as picky with this series as I am with others. Tsunuffy its so easy to slash them. There are so many parts that are totally shounen-ai, expecially with Satoshi and Daisuke. I need money to buy both the anime and manga. 3nodding s in agreement to everything you have said about the pairings.

Im gonna try and see if there's a way to copy my friends DVD's on my computer.... maybe I can find a way to share it with you guys if I get it. If anyone knows a way lemme know.. i understand how much being broke sucks! 3nodding

kurikim Perhaps I'm mistaken about the song. I'll double check later. Take your time. ^^ Maybe the people on Animelyrics got it wrong, but from what it says Caged Bird is the ending song for eppisode 24, or something like that.

I just recently got into this series, and I love both Krad and Dark, so I'd like to see a slash with these two characters. X3 I love Dark's voice (go Vic!) and I also love Krad (go Illich!) because he seems bad, but so does Dark...so you never know. I wanna see these two be bad together. whee
The opening song rocks my socks like a fox in a box! I want the soundtrack. X3

O.O OMFG... This is so cool!!! Not only is Ryotaro Okiayu the Japanese seiyuu for Dark, but he's also the seiyuu for Shigure-san from FB, Scar-san from Fullmetal Alchemist and K-san from Gravvie!!! Man, the way these things work out. ^^
Sadly though, Takeshi Kusao, who's the Japanese seiyuu for Kard, I only know his voice from His and Her Circumstances (TV) as Hiroyuki Miyazawa... I don't know if I've evn meet that character though... I think he maybe the father. *Sigh* So not fair.
