if Matter and Antimatter combine to annihilate each other and create energy couldn't we make matter and Antimatter out of energy? Is matter just another part of energy or vice versa?

please explain
Can we theoretically make Matter out of Energy?

I think you guys are thinking about this to analytically. A simple example where energy is turned into matter is photosynthesis. Light (energy) makes a plant grow (additional mass).

Incorrect. Photosynthesis uses the energy to create glucose from pre-existing atoms. That is not at all what was meant by creating matter out of energy.

Get rid of that thought, as it is incorrect.

I thought they had a rest mass of 0 but when moving they have a very minute mass

That to me doesn't make any sense at all. If they had mass at any point in time, they would have to have infinite energy.

first you would have to take into account that when the energy produced by annihalation passes a nucleus (i believe, it might just be matter) it turns into matter, i believe like positrons etc.

so you would need an extremely fast machine to control what kind of matter you make, if you even can.

so right now its a pretty strange theory, although we do use the accelerators to see if there are any breakings of the laws of conservation of energy, and other quirky stuff
