Phoenix licked her mate's cheek, nuzzling him while waiting patiently for the youngster to return.

Mirah took a deep breath as she looked around the camp. It was only then that the teen noticed the Alpahas had awoken. Mirah quietly got to her feet, and jumped from the rock. She slowly padded up to the two great leaders, then slightly bowed her head. Was it wise to have left the camp with out saying anything?
"I know I shouln't have left without telling you, but I was hungry. I also brought a rabbit back, if either of you are hungry. I can go get more if you'd like." Mirah offered, as she wagged her tail slowly.

She looked to the younger wolf and nudged her gently. "It would have been nice to have known where you were headed off to, though as a growing wolf you do need the practice of your hunting skills."

"I know. I just didn't wanna wake you though." Mirah said, glad that Phoenix wasn't furious about Mirah's short 'disappearance.' "And if it's okay with the two of you, may I take hunting patrol today? I love hunting! It's so fun, yet you have to concentrate on what you're doing." Mirah exclaimed with enthusiasm.

She looked to her mate. "Should we let her take hunting patrol today?" Phoenix didn't see why she couldn't though safety of the pack was upmost in her mind.

Intyran didn't entirely share his mate's views, and had wanted to give the youngster a very long talk, but held his tongue for the sake of waiting to see how this played out. Though when she asked to be on hunting patrol the alpha male sighed deeply, it was obvious he would have said something more on the matter but was holding back and letting it go. "Sure, though I would like you to take others with you, and stick close to them. Mirah next time you decide to go off on your own, don't worry about waking me, I'll be happy to know where you're going", he said a bit firmly, but got to his paws and slowly padded over. With that said he let a wolfish grin grace his maw. "But on the other hand I'm proud of you and your desire to hunt, I'm sure you'll be a wonderful member of the pack when you grow further", he told her, keeping his head slightly higher but gave a small wag of his tail before letting it go back to it's usual position and backing up to stand next to Phoenix once more.

She nuzzled him. She didn't like that Mirah'd been out on her own though a warning seemed okay for this moment. She did agree with her mate's words though.

Mirah nodded, with a twinkle of delight in her eyes. "Thank you so much!" she exclaimed, as she gave the alphas a bow of appriciation. "And don't worry. I wont ever leave without saying so first. I promise." Mirah said as she took a step back. Now, the question was...who should she take? This would be her very first time to go on hunting patrol. "Umm...do either of you have any suggestions as of who to take?" Mirah asked nervously.

Intyran growled playfully as his mate as she nuzzled him, he loved having her around and near his side, like his other part. Though his attention was soon grabbed by Mirah and he kept up a slight wolfish grin as she expressed her joy and promise. For a moment he had to ponder, just who could she take? Flicking his ears forward Intyran glanced around him at the still slumbering pack and snorted slightly. "Well now apparently no one. But... I guess if you wouldn't mind an old alpha tagging along then I might as well", he was generally light hearted in times like this. But fear not, this alpha male certainly knew how to hunt.

Mirah blinked in surprise. She was going to go hunting with an Alpha! "It would be an honer sir." It was all she could do to keep herself from exploding with excitement. "I'd be more than happy to go with you."
She was going with an Alpha. The Alpha male of the Lowlands pack. Intryan.
Mirah felt as though the air it's self would pick her up, and give all of it's strength to her for this hunting trip.

Phoenix laughed as she watched Mirah's expression. It was very clear she was excited as she gave small growl to Intryan before licking his nose. "I expect you both to return in one piece..."
It was a small order to both of them...

Flashing a quick grin with his wit the orangish wolf felt rather flattered at her excitement, but didn't let it get to him. "Aw come on now Phoenix, I'm not that bad", he teased, nipping at her ear before lowering his chest to the ground to stretch a bit. "Alright then Mirah, show me what you got", he had no problem getting to know the pack members on a personal level, heck he liked to think he could keep better tabs on them that way, and knew the strengths and weaknesses of the pack. Lifting his head and letting his own excitement of the hunt show with the wolfish grin that was bared on his maw. With a michevious glance back at his mate he began to trot off towards the forest, guessing mirah would follow.

She shook her head, chuckling as she watched them leave. If he was that bad, he wouldn't have been alpha. She turned around to head back to the den to get a small morning nap, until others awoke.

Mirah nodded and ran after the great alpha. "Okay," the teen began, "should we start over by the stream? Or do you have any better suggestions?" she asked as she twiched her ears slightly. "I'm happy doing whatever."

Intyran had been joking around with his mate about the hunting, surely he would have not made it to alpha without knowing how to hunt, and hunt well. Though hearing the padfalls of his packmate and then her question he subdued the urge to grin and chuckle, for he didn't want to let any would-be prey know he was near, seeing as though her questions reminded him of a young orangish wolf; himself. "It's early in the day young Mirah, the game we're hunting for will most likely be scrounging around for an earlier breakfast before going to the stream. How's about we sweep the forest area and then head towards the stream?" he wanted to see what she thought of that, otherwise he would not have worded it as a question.
