darkphoenix1247 cut down those quote trees xd And zonko, no offense, but the " stare " comes off a bit condescending sometimes xp sweatdrop that's kind of the point... but generally, like all emoticons, it's a useful and often amusing means of communicating emotions and/or insinuations.

I don't know if Reconstructionists circumcise, but I wouldnt' be suprised. So did I. I didn't really know much about Reconstructionists until my dad started dating one.

Reconstructionist Judaism appears to be a form of the 'New Age' religions.
According to Wikipedia.com, Reconstructionist Judaism is a movement of Judaism with a very liberal set of beliefs:
1.) an individual's personal autonomy should generally override traditional Jewish law and custom, yet also take into account communal consensus,
2.) modern culture is accepted,
3.) traditional rabbinic modes of study, as well as modern scholarship and critical text study, are both valid ways to learn about religious texts,
4.) non-fundamentalist methods of teaching about Jewish principles of faith are acceptable, and no Jew needs to accept all, or any, principles of faith,
5.) rejection of belief that the Jews are the only chosen people.
6.) miracles and theism are generally not accepted.

darkphoenix1247 I don't know if it's right in this case, but overall, never trust wikipedia blaugh I think, from what I remember of going to a Reconstructionist synagouge, and what I learned while doing so, that sounds about right. Their siddur is weird... they use ALL gender-neutral pronouns/words for God, and I believe they don't use King or Lord EVER... it's... different.

i just want ot say that if someone has questions like that... what can i say? well, he just need to clean up his mind, and do a mental research with himself, as RASAG's opinion about faith. neutral
never the less, he shuold be very carefull with his research... it can be even worse if he gets to the wrong conclusions, that's why RIHAL claims that pure faith is better than a mental research...
