She sighed as she leaned against the wall...again. Her short, black hair seemed to be plastered to her face. Her arms were crossed just underneath her chest and her eyes closed. As usual when she had her eyes closed, her other senses were heightened. Her head was resting against the wall casually.
She was fully aware of what was going on around her. She heard someone running in the direction that she was in and grabbed a kunai out of the pouch on her leg. She opened her eyes once again and scanned the area around her.
Sure enough, she saw someone approaching her at a run and got in her stance that she had been in not long ago when she was training. She was ready to throw the kunai if she had to. She didn't really want to, but she would if she had to.

Shikyo
Shikyo was running a little too fast, maybe. In any case, he barely avoided hitting whoever he almost ran over. He sensed them just in time though, and jumped out of their way. Unfortunately, out of the way meant into a wall.
He recovered okay though - not much weight on him meant lighter landings. When he got up and rubbed the dirt off his robes, he saw the person standing in front of him. He couldn't tell for sure, but her figure seemed to be of a girl's. If only I could see...
"Who is it?" he asked the odd hums of cicadas.
"Girl. Dark, short hair. Small." the cicada was able to respond in less than a second. If only everyone could speak that efficient.
"Excuse me, I am sorry for that. I do not have the best vision. Do you happen to be Kuniko? I am looking for her." Shikyo said with a sincere voice and his always present smile.

The two figures had emerged abruptly from the foliage. Shiryoku hadn't seen them at first, as he was talking. But they announced their presence quite rudely, in any case. He looke over them real quick, noting that one's arm was deformed. Could be equipment though.
"Cos' we got a trespasser." That seemed familiar. That could have been what he was supposed to do... He could trust them. That guy ran off then, leaving the deformed arm behind.
"There's no time to explain. Come along. You may want the experience, if you know what's best for your future profession." So these were Onsei Unit? His thoughts were cut short, however, as deformed-arm took leave as well.
Shiryoku ran in the direction of deformed-arm, taking caution to keep his alert. Didn't want to hit a tree again. He only risked asking Cicada "Looks?"
"Black clothing all-over. Hood. Arm band. Shiny spots." Was the reply. "Not the nicest looking, but then again, they weren't meant to be nice. Hmmm, will I have to wear that if I make it that far?" was Shiryoku's last thought before he gave in to the exertion of running and scanning for objects.

She jumped out of the way just before she had gotten ran into by the other person. No emotion played over her face as she stared at him. The kunai was still in her hand, now fully bared. What was this boy doing out here right now if he couldn't see well?
She simply nodded to his question as to who she was. She turned her attention to the two figures that had approached. She stood up straighter as the one spoke and nodded. She was always prepared and had enough kunai, shurikens, explosive tags, and smoke bombs.
When the first had left, and the second spoke, she nodded once again before taking off after them once the second left. She would not waste any time. They were requesting that she help get this trespasser, and apparently the other boy as well. Would he be able to manage?
As Kuniko ran, she kept alert of everything going on around her. She could not afford to lower her guard even though she was in the village. She was not trained and raised that way. Just like she was not raised to disobey an order.

"Typical." The Seeker flashed an eye to his collaborator rushing behind him. Both kept their running hushed through the dank passageway. "You had to have them follow along?" He spoke with a tone most appalled.
"When I am handed subordinates, I put them to good use." The Retainer adjusted a protrusion on his cumbersome metal brace. "Besides, they need the exercise."
"I'll remember that when both are clawing at their wounds in a pool of red on the floor."
The Retainer thought it best not to argue, hint from his gaze being reverted back to the path he traveled. "We're drawing close, aren't we?"
"Inescapably. I can almost smell him."

Shiryoku's breath was starting to become regulated. He was adjusted to it now. How much longer would they be running now? It was still difficult running through foliage without hitting something. He'd have to get better at that...
This girl, Kuniko, still hasn't even talked. Most of the time, kids like them would talk or something... Oh well. Time to see where these ninja were taking them.
