They've been together four years. However, she dumped him after a couple years and then got back together with him after a week.
I think it's 'cause of the distance. While she's at UCSD, he's stuck in LA. *shrugs*

Leiko Aneko A lot of mothers seem to be like that.
My mom kicked my boyfriend out of the house once last year when I yawned after watching a movie. She was like, "She needs to focus on sleeping instead of being around you."
I was sitting there like, "WTF!?" My mom is all like "Are you sure he can't stay for dinner?". My boyfriend is really popular in my family.

oceanfinger717 So true. School is my life, sadly. I wanted school to be my life, but it didn't work out.

My mom really liked my brother's girlfriend. I have a feeling she will be really mad if/when she finds out they aren't together anymore.
Then again, she may already know...I don't know. I'm always left out with things like this in my family.

The boyfriend I have now, my mom is quite timid around.

My mom is timid around any guy I mention or that she meets. Even if it's for a school project, she asks a lot of questions about the poor guy at the time.

I feel sorry for all of those guys.
I don't totally see why she's so timid around them.

My mom is against me having a boyfriend before I finish school. She's afraid I'll get pregnant and become a high school drop-out flipping burgers at McDonald's.

My mom is worried about me getting into a college. She thinks that relationships pull down my grade.
