Grave heard he comment and agreed, although his head did not nod as he would have done were he not concentrating so completely on weaving around the steadily filling Lounge to the safety of the corridor. When he heard he request he stopped abruptly and smiled at her. There was a nearly mischievous twinkle in his eye, more akin to excitement than to mischief. "Where did you think we were going?" his voice had it's usual soft brush-suede quality, but there was a warmness in it of instant-companionship. "Come on, I'll show you." Grave made his way around the spiral of corridors, gradually heading out and out. Occassionally he caught sight of older students, ones so near to their first Transcendance that his breath nearly caught in his throat to observe them. Now and then he caught sight of half-open doors with mysterious things lurking behind in the shadows, but he did not stop, only slowed from time to time to make sure he could keep the girl near him. He did not want to risk getting seperated from her, and at times he felt he was keeping her close by the warmth of her body more than the contact of her tiny hand in his. And then, looming before them out of side of the continuous hallway stood a short corridor and at its end a set of absolutely massive black iron doors absolutely wrought from top to bottom with curling images of vines, animals long since extinct: leopards, sea gulls, elephants, elk, martens, and many more that Grave did not recognise. And as these figures intertwined and swirled towards the centre images of alchemical and medical tools were depicted, and plants and flowers used in potions, elements and symbols. and finally at the very center were depicted four glowing beings, without distinct form or shape each surrouned by one of the four Ouroboroses of the Aligmnents. He knew, somewhere inside that these four beings, godly and faceless were the Metatrons. And as he stood staring at them, the massive library doors swung open on silent hinges.

Antigone, opening the door that led to the Teacher's lounge, poked her head into the room, golden eyes scanning the area before stepping in. She had come in here to find the teachers of the classes she had missed, so that she could catch up with everyone else. Mentally, she made a list of the make-ups she needed to do. Literature- that'd be fun!-, Rhetoric, Cooking, and Crafting. Right. Now she just needed to find a teacher...

It had taken Ubel a bit of time to locate the Teacher's Lounge, and, when it did, he hesitated in going in. But, eventually, he worked up the will and nudged the door open, only to squeak in surprise when he nearly bumped into Antigone on his way in. "Oh... hullo," he said shyly, offering a sheepish smile. "Are you here to catch up as well...?" He himself had three classes to learn on - Rhetoric, Crafting, and Literature.

Antigone turned, and was glad to see a familiar and friendly face. She smiled happily, and nodded. "I arrived late, so I have four classes I need to make up. But it looks like it's sort of empty in here now... How are you, Ubel?" she asked, clearly pleased to have alone time with the Melancholy. She quite liked him, and really didn't know him all that well, aside that Aysel held him in high regaurd, and that Grave and he were lovers, and loved one another. The young Sanguine liked that last bit especially. Those two together were adorable.

Ubel laughed and nodded a few times, scanning the room carefully, before his eyes returned to Antigone. "I'm missing three classes, myself... Literature, Rhetoric, and Crafting," he listed, making a slight face at the mention of the last one. "So I'm hoping to make them up during our free time... or, at least, try to. I think I might go for the Crafting, first... just to... get it over with." He laughed sheepishly, shrugging a bit.

Antigone smiled, and nodded as well. "All those, plus cooking," she said, tilting her head to one side, studying the other student. "Not looking forward to crafting?" she asked, her golden eyes attentive and interested upon the other. "I'm looking forward to Literature, myself. It's cooking I'm dreading. I doubt I'll be any good at it," the Sanguine said with a half laugh.

"Oh, cooking is going to be much better than you expect," Ubel said, smiling broadly. "Professera Tryna is wonderful, as well. I tell you what. Let's go to do the ones we least look forward to - crafting for me, cooking for you. Then the next two, then we can go to Literature together, and you can handle the last one... does that sound okay?"

Antigone beamed over at him, obviously liking this idea. "Yes, good idea. I'd love to take Literature with you. Perhaps we could do Rhetoric as well, if you don't mind?" Being and Sanguine, she was rather social, and would like to have another student with her, if at all possible. "Thanks suggesting it, by the way. I'm not exactly scared of taking classes by myself- I'm not scared of anything- but I'd much rather take them with a friend."

A faint blush appeared on Ubel's cheeks and he smiled brightly at Antigone, nodding a few times. "Taking Rhetoric together would be good as well. So! Let's get to work," he said happily, wiggling his fingers a bit, before turning on his heel to search out Professor Kortus.

Laughing, Antigone nodded and set off after him, their boots making powerful clacking and clicking sounds upon the floor as they walked. She tugged on a bead strand, grinning. "I've always liked these. Set you apart from the others, right away." She smiled happily, falling into step beside him easily. It was nice, she decided, to have friends like this. Quite nice indeed. "What's been your favorite class, so far?"

A squeak of surprise came from Ubel when his beads were tugged on, before he grinned sheepishly up at Antigone. "Thank you... I rather like my beads... but they're a pain to put back in after washing my hair," he said, laughing softly. Then he paused, but only for the briefest of moments. "Astronomy. Not only was the class interesting, but Professor Elias is amazing..."

"Well, I've only taken two classes, but I have to agree with you. Professer Elias is stunning. He's like a..." Pausing, she searched from the right term. "Like a Siren. Does that sound right? I think that's the term I'm looking for. He's utterly enchanting. I also like Professer Lelaus, who was with us durring the field trip into the Mencholia district. I think he and I would get along." She grinned over at Ubel, clearly at ease around him.

Ubel giggled, nodding eagerly. "A siren... possibly as dangerous, as well," he said softly, before a grin curled on his lips. "Professor Lelaus... he amused me and upset me, but I think that may have just been because of the prank he pulled on us all. It was... a bit upsetting."

"Well, well, well," Kortus said aimiably, striding up to the two students headed towards his chair. "Are you two looking for anyone in particular, or just takin' in the sights?" And what a sight. Kortus loomed over them at 7'5", his rippling body covered in swirled tribal markings giving off a faint green-gold glow. His two lower arms he had held loosely behind his back, and his two upper arms were crossed against his barrel-chest. Despite the fct that his eyes were milky-smooth green-white light, he seemed to be focusing thintently on the two students before him, and a warm a caring smile curved upwards on his Caprian face.

Antigone squeaked. Literally squeaked at the sight of the professer who had just appeared, seemingly out of thin air. Though there was nothing thin about this man. Golden eyes wide, she attempted to take in all she could about him, though it seemed a little impossible to keep all of his mass within her sight at one time. "I- I believe that Ubel here was looking for you, Professer Kortus," she said finally, sending a smile the Melancholy's way. "Well, actually, we both need to do some make-up work for your class, as we weren't here to take it."
