Tuzwa smiled at the queen and king. She had come here so her Kazi could return to his home. She still had a job to do. Her cubs still needed to be found adn staying here wouldn't help her. "As Kazi said he just wishes to return. I just wish to have somewhere to return to." Her eyes went to Kazi before she spoke again. "I still have to find my cubs but I promise I'll come back with them so you can finally meet them." She nudged her purple head into his mane.
"Will I be able to stay here when return?"

Sarabi studied the young male with a frown. "I do not know you, young one. Nor do I remember a lion or lioness with quite your coloring.... Tell me, how do you know this was once your home? Why did you leave, and now decide to come back?" She focused slowly on Tuzwa, her mind spinning at this supposed long-lost-member. "If you two wish to join us, we will welcome you gladly. This is a peaceful place, open as a home to any who need it. Of course you may return here."Still a little baffled, and fast growing tired, she leaned wearily against her mate, taking comfort and strength from his solid form at her side. It was so good to have him home again. Wooden beads clicked softly in her necklace as she moved, the carved sun a pleasant weight against her chest.

"I'm very sorry to say that I don't remember the event either young one.." -There was an obvious sense of apology in the statement, his words heavy in weight and yet soft upon the air. He was sorry for not remembering.. but more so for not being able to prevent the event.. whatever it was, that caused pain and hardship within his lands.- "There is so much I seem to be forgetting, and losing in my old age.. But I do offer my sincerest apologies for any trouble that's touched you on our soils."
"We try our bests.. but.. sometimes it just isn't good enough to keep everything as we'd wish."
-Falling silent as his mate's inquisition touched the warm air Mufasa waited gently for an answer, eyes only leaving the couple long enough for him to place an affection lick and nuzzle to his mate's cheek as she settled her weight against him.-

His ears twitched about when Tuzwa nudged him, and he turned his gaze to her. "I know...and I'll wait for you here..." he said quietly to her, a small smile appearing on his face. Kazi then shook his head at the queen and king's response, a somewhat sorrowful look on his face. It had been a while ago, so it didn't affect him much that they didn't remember. They were, after all, taking care of many other matters that were much more important than his own. He thought for a moment to respond to the queen's inquiry, noticing that his small ordeal was a little much for her. "It was far too long ago, and I don't really expect anyone other than myself to remember what had happened." The male sighed and continued. "I was born here, and left to avenge the death of my family after they were ambushed and murdered. I have avenged them now, and I want to live the remainder of my life in peace...if it's possible." His tail swayed slowly behind him as he waited for them to answer, his eyes never faltering from their gaze on the two leaders of the pride.

Tuzwa sighed and watched Kazi closely., taking in his features. She would miss him dearly but she had to know what happened to her family. This itself had been a side trip which ended in this situation. She realized that she may be gone for quite some time and how much she would be hurting Kazi didn't return. "Find yourself a companion Kazi to pass the time." A smile masked her true sadness as she bowed to them all.
"It is such an honor to meet you two especially in these times and I am very thankful for your kindness." She gave Kazi a swift nuzzle goodbye and headed down the path from Pride Rock.

Sarabi watched the lioness pad off with a whistful expression, a gentle smile on her face. "She will be welcome here when she returns, Kazi. Your welcome here too, for as long as you like to stay. If you can hunt, your help to feed those of the pride who can't would be greatly appreciated." She looked to Mufasa with her crimson eyes, accepting his nuzzling with a smile made for him alone. "We can only hope that she finds what she's looking for." The queen moved her gaze back to the lion left behind, studying him more closly than before. Those scars on his muzzle... they might be from this tragedy he spoke of. Well, scars heal, and in their beautiful lands, all they had was time to rest and heal.

-It was a familar sting his words brought. His own parents having fallen to the same fate.. and almost the entire pride as well. And those his avenging had split him from his last link to the family, Mufasa would have done it again. Again and again. He had very little regrets in his long life. And that was certainly not one of them, no matter how much soreness ached through his heart when he thought back to all that was lost.- "Ahhh... a tale so like my own... and yet so different I'm sure."
-Eyes turning softly in time to watch the female leave, he gave a gentle nod of agreement to his mate's words, adding lightly.- "Peace and joy are things easily found in these lands, so I hope that both you, and she can find it when the time comes."
