How could he get it to run through her head that he loved her. Passionately. They hadn't spent time with one another, he rarely flirted with her and yet everything about her seemed enticing. He didn't care of her looks, she was flawless. he didn't care of her mind, she was as brilliant as she wanted. He didn't care of her height, or weight or build for she was beautiful. His eyes fluttered constantly, watching the earth bound by as they walked on. He was sick--though he wasn't bitten. It was nature cursing him, he concluded. Because he left his father, and because he left his pack and his family, the world and nature and god had all thrown wrath on him. Soon, he'd die, never spawning children so it would seem.

Breaths were taken lightly, his bones crushing with the heavy steps, yet he didn't complain. He was thankful for her accompanying him, even if he seemed unwilling to go along. Uncomfortably, he coughed, then quickly looked to the side. 'I'm...ever so glad...you've decided to...come...but I will not ignore...the knowledge...that my father will find you.' he shook slightly, a chill running over his apparent spine. 'Though he will not harm you Kirra....he will ask you....why you have left.....but....don't think of me...just move on with him....he is evil--but suitable.' his head dangled after this, and soon he was falling into a light slumber, the needed necessity to his life. No more dreams for now, for his mind was clouded with to much else.

Talamar was indeed asleep now, yet her bustle about the woods didn't go unnoticed. He winced and moaned, yet his body moved along with hers, the fear of jostling to much leading to his form sliding off once again--or worse Kirra's body tumbling. The air was salty, yet it wasn't signaling anything in particular. Rather, the salt came from his own blood, dried now and clunky aloft his brown fur. There was a cut, right above his brow that had created a coarse down his face, crossing into his nose. Now the red substance stained the ebony--inside and out.

It was a becoming chilly by this time, his fur standing on end with the chills that rummaged through him. What of Kirra, was she warm? Hopefully his small size was keeping some part of her warm. Feeling his head beat with pain, he opened his eyes and shuddered towards the female. 'Kirra--put me down. I can walk, but you must be tired of holding me. Let me down.' he fumbled with his body, her moving not helping, and soon fell once again onto the floor, though this time he had reserved enough energy to push himself up off the dirt and onto his feet, unsteady but capable of walking. 'Kirra, we must find a place to sleep soon. I'm afraid I cannot let you go on for hours with no sleep, and holding me up would have been worse.' he made an attempt to shook, but only gave himself a weary headache and a woozy appearance. Walking slowly towards her, he sniffed the air. 'We need--food too.' and water, he thought, but figured he shouldn't say anything else for out of habit, he didn't want to appear needy.

Talamar smiled, feeling her deep concern for his health but shook his own head. 'Come, we should only walk a few more hours till we truly need to stop. Plus, I have hope in finding something--I can handle walking if it's for a purpose.' the difficult part would be pausing for long periods of time, he finally concluded, for even this short rest they took seemed to uneasily poke at his belly, the thought of lingering hunger probing his mind.

He moved past the female in a sort of hobbling act, his head swaying with his awkward steps. Glancing back towards the female, he gave her yet another smile, possibly the only charming feature on his deathly body. His tail also swayed behind him as he turned his gaze back to the path before him and began his gentle walk deeper into the opaque.

It seemed like only a short walk from where they stopped to at that point when Talamar set eyes upon a small, abandoned den, though it appeared more to be a crumbling hole in the middle of the wood. Around the outside lurked many vines, entangling one another and stretching across the vast and round area's of the indent. Within lay piles and piles of dust, the smell of previous creatures faint. He approached the hazardous domain and took to sniffing the mouth before entering into the perpetually darker interior. Oddly enough, the innards were damp with moisture, mushrooms and other fungi scattered about the corners. Puddles of dirty water also dwelled inside, Talamar stepping mistakenly in an assorted few. Pressing his nose to the air, he snarled softly, making, in his own way, sure that no other creature found quaint within.

He then began a quick sweep of the floor, pushing the clumps of gathered dust this way and that, sneezing a few out into the air and finally squishing some into the den floor. Looking towards the outside, he then waited for Kirra, his figure droopy and moist.
