Our guard for the winter guard show allways dose something with chain flags, they're cool. And even though it is a flag, 3 years ago they had huge flags, they were the size of my friends bronco, it was insane.

We were cavemen last year in drumline and we spun bones instead of rifles! We also spun spears! It was the most fun we ever had!

This year we're supposed to be dancing with ribbons made of scraps of all our other flags in the show. The flags aren't done yet, so neither are the ribbons, but it's all good because we aren't marching that song yet.

In past years, our guard has used gigantic birds on poles, umbrellas, shields, coathangers (and coats), flowers, briefcases, and hula hoop flags shaped like artist palletes.

We have these rings (needlepoint looms) with streamers on them. And I think trying fans would be awesome!

Our guard used pumpkins this year. I think I've seen one guard use hubcaps before.

Lady Austina And I think trying fans would be awesome! Hmm...we have these big flags that are pretty much impossible to move right in the wind. I hate it when it blows and flies right in my face, but...yeah...

We haven't used anything weird..YET, but i did see a guard use wooden planks colored like piano keys and they tried to spin them. It was quite funny. On tripped over her own feet and fell...with out the plank.

this year we had the weirdest prop, our instructor Rob called them pekadaeros. and it was funny cuz we listened to the judges commentary and they all said at one point in time what the heck is that prop. we also spun fans and had a full member ripple split
