Kiros noted that she spoke in riddles. Strange and wierd speakings of tongue that for once had Xan perplexed. The wolf had been silent, but now he spoke again, intent upon defending himself. Listen to her rant on about darkness and life. She needs to go to the loony bin, crazy wolf. I'm not dark, and your most certainly not light. I mean, look at you? Hilarious, really just quite amusing. Kiros glared at himself inwardly, the let out a laugh. He laughed out of nervousness and he laughed out of want to help Xan. It certainly wasn't going to help his relations with this femme, but he didn't much care at this point.

He snapped his jaw shut, ears flicked forward suddenly alert. Xan growled for him, for Kiros was to much of a softheart to do so. The very slight scent of not one, but two wolves rushed to his mind. It was best to stop talking about this 'problem' now, before they were overheard. He said nothing, merely looked in the direction towards whence came the smells.

Kiros had never seen a wolf so small in size before. Nor one so submissive right off the bat. Seer!!! Xan screeched, causing horrible pains in Kiros' head. The wolf must not have liked Seer's. Kiros wouldn't have known that the short wolf was a seer, nor did he much mind, he didn't see the problem with it.

He opened his mouth to speak a reply when a looming figure barged into the situation. Kiros' eyes widened, this wolf held himself highly, it was self-evident that he was a leader of some kind, a leader with a mission. But what could two wolves possibly want with him, or them, if you included Eesig.

Finding little else to do, and needing a distraction from Xan, he decided to speak.

"Would you give me the honor of your names?

You see!? YOU SEE!!?? They get into your mind and contort and control you. They can hear your thoughts, your emotions. Everything! As you have done to me? Yeah, kinda like that. Kiros smiled weakly at his hypocritical friend. Indeed the smell of salt was very distinguished, the pair must have come from the sea. Kiros had never left his area of comfort, he had no need. Though the smell of this salt made him long for travel, long to see places where little foot had traversed.

Kiros bowed his head towards the female and the male.

"Pleasure to be of your acquaintance. I am Kiros." His appearance must have seemed strange to them, with the orange feathers and the medicine bag. It even perplexed Xan, and he wouldn't tell the wolf why he was carrying such strange things. Mostly because the herbs within the bag were not just healing herbs, but those to drive away Xan as well.

His attention turned towards Eisig, she was intriguing, and confusing. It was as if she could not live with herself.

Why did she keep saying, love, it was a little strange. Not something he typically heard anyone say, certaintly not Xan. Kiros had no idea what the German femme meant by chasing frozen fire. How could fire be frozen. It was an impossibility. She was speaking riddles again. The rest he understood quite clearly, though all the people were making Xan twitchy and nervous. To much of this and Kiros would have to let him have control for a while. That was a scary thought, they would need prior warning for sure.

Flit. What an odd name for a wolf. Do you suppose it means something. What good can become of a wolf by such a name. Perhaps we should dispose of this Flit Don't be rediculous, he has done nothing. The seer, then? No. Hush. Ah, but there is no fun in that. What is life without a little danger, pain, suffering? It will be fun. Come, I'll show you.

Kiros had confronted Seers before, he knew of them, as he knew of Shaman's. He never minded them, but for whatever reason Xan was horrified of Seers. The wolf never had much minded the Shamans, actually took a liking to them, but the Seers with their mind-reading powers made Xan roar and come up with little twisted plots that Kiros found himself slipping towards more and more lately.

Kiros didn't know what to do, he would have been fine on his own, but the Seer's voice confused him. He was not used to such things, and the fact that she kept thrusting her emotion farther and farther into him made Xan go completely out of wack. Kiros felt his body go cold, he yelped in pain, no voice went out. He struggled to move, his limbs would not listen. His inner eyes widened in terror, but on the outside nothing moved. All he could do was watch.

A harsh cackling filled the hair, it was hoarse, dark, menacing. A golden eye seemed to glow brighter in the midst, flashed alight with fire. It was defiant against all and everything, it would listen to no one. There were no promises to keep, only blood to shed. Blood of the challengers, blood of the weak.

"Do not play your little mind games with me, Seer!' Xan's voice echoed out thick, deeper than Kiros' by a stretch as wide as a gulch. While Kiros' voice held pity respect, knowledge and love, perhaps even confusion at times, Xan gave no such inkling of thoughts. His voice contained malice, and little respect for any but Kiros. He pardoned the creature for the worthless scum that he was, satisfying his wishes only for he had to. He was him, him was he.

Of course the seer wasn't the only little game to play with here. The blue seemed to be having trouble. With quick footed whim he dodged his way over to the blue wolf, hoping to avoid the snapping jaws of the Alpha if it decided in defense of its mate.

"Don't listen to the voices, my sweet. They will only curse you. Kiros learns this lessons well. Of course you can let it take control, but I will certainly have its flesh and blood on my maw then. Shall I spare you, if you prove strong enough to live, or shall you falter, as dear Kiros has? He is petty, weak, yet he has lived long enough. I scorn him, but he prevails. Even now he pleads for your life and pleads for their lives. He is foolish to think I might stand against an Alpha. These muscles need refining, they aren't fit for fighting. I'll pick my battles. But no, I won't hurt you, not yet, it would ruin the fun, now wouldn't it?"
