It's my theory that Kai's scarf has lead in it as a strength excercise thingy.
Like in Kai vs Rei when he dropped the scarf and it smooshed teh concrete.

We all wish we could be in the show with him but we don't want to smother his royal coldness by taking an important role with him. Why couldn't they have the fangirls after him too?
In first season, Ray was oggled by the girls and in any other, Tyson being the champion, gets flooded with fangirls too...well there were guys in there too I think...
