cc7o2 Lisa Tucker The Song ReaderIf you're a music lover, I recommend everyone to read this... it's a fiction book but it goes into how music that you listen to can tell you about your problems to others and hold the solutions too. I've read this at least 5 times. eek Really? That's intriguing... 3nodding

While I love to read, I'm a fairly slow reader and don't read as much as I should. >.<
I'm a writer as well. *points to sig* I have a fantasy serial out right now, and am currently letting my first (well, first finished sweatdrop ) novel gestate before I rip it apart for a second draft.
As far as favorite authors are concerned, I really don't have any. I'll read whatever comes across my plate. whee

The Kiell.
I am very proud of it.
No, it will never get published, infact I will never publish any of my work. I'm not that good. But I enjoy writing and thats why I do it.

I'd have to say I don't have a favorite author, but rather a group of them. My genres usually relate to fantasy in some way, I'm a stickler for anything with dragons portrayed in it.
I love the Harry Potter series, and have read book 3 so many times my copy is falling apart. >.> I also am beginning to love the Pendragon series.
One of my favorite authors is Anne Rice, and I love her vampire chronicles to the point of almost an obsession.
I also write, albeit short, fiction pieces that're usually based around problems in my life. I have an account on Fictionpress, but that's the only place I really publish any of my work. I have never finished a chapter story, though, I want to try. >.> I just lose interest far too quickly.

Eileen: You've reminded me of a series I read in my early teens, Dragon Song, Dragon _____, and Dragon Drums... they were a trio, and though I can't recall the 2nd book's title, I remember they were really good, and now I think I'll perhaps look for them to read them again... thanks ^.^

I have to know something, and I'm pretty sure since this is the 'Book and/or Writing' thread, it goes here.
Has anyone read The Killing Club, by Marcie Welsh? My mom and I have been looking for that book everywhere, it seems every store is out of it save for Barnes and Noble. stare Is it a good book, or is everyone just reading it for the soap opera spoilers?

I love to read just about anything. Due to my business, generally only finish 2 books a month. Hopefully that will change with summer...
I am currently reading Clan Novel: Lasombra, published by White Wolf. The series is about vampires, but I like it a lot.
I really like Francesca Lia Block. She is amazing.
I write a bit. Nothing worth reading, really, but I like it.

I love that series. I believe Dragonsinger is the title of the second one. Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern is such a good series. She's my fav author. I have almost everyone of her books. What I find really interesting now, is that I quess with her age, her son is starting to publish books with her too in the series.
