Yakuti was suprised, she supposed she could consider Kijivu her mate. She found herself wanting to, and she realized if he had thought he loved her then she knew she thought the same. It was a chance meeting that ended so splendidly that it left Yakuti confused as to what had really happened. And then his almost threatening, almost teasing words, and Yakuti stood up and looked at him, "No. He's good to me. I like him." Again she was repeating herself, she didn't know what else to say, Jamaa was confusing her.

"What was that last part?" he asked. Jamaa was gonna play a little card he had up his sleeve for a while. He knew if he played it right he could get something out of this conversation. Jamaa grinned with his poker face on to stop her from knowing what he had planned. Or...does she? "Jamaa didn't quite catch that last part. Say again please?"

Yakuti cowered a little, what was he doing? She was so confused by him and she whimpered, "I like Kiji..." Was that right? Did she like him? Or was it... was it the same thing he'd said... did she love him? She'd only met him but she felt that connection was there... was that it? She certainly didn't know what Jamaa was up to, but he was confusing her.

"That's not what Jamaa heard." He smiled. "It was more of something stronger." he gave a sly grin again. "Lah....Loh" he started her off. It was almost time to play his card. The same card that Temari got him to play not too long ago in the most...well strangest conditions. At least when this "card" is played, it wold be to a better one. Yakuti will relieze it before it is even played, too.
"Well?"

Yakuti whimpered, she felt like he was making fun of her and teasing her. "Stop it." She looked really hurt and didn't like this game. She didn't want him to morph her thoughts, she wanted to know if what she felt was true without his help... she knew though that it was but she didn't want to say it. She whimpered once more and finally just said, "I love Kiji." And with that said she backed away from Jamaa and turned to run off. She didn't like his games and didn't appreciate being toyed with, especially not by her friend. Yuka felt as if he was insulting her and making fun of her because she loved Kiji and it hurt her.

"And so it has been played." he grinned. Well normally he wasn't so harsh with his little games, probably picked it up from that damned Jackal, Goma. But if he was correct, he knew where she was going to run to.
"Well, Jamaa hope Kiji is expecting company. Otherwise he's in for a surprise." He paused for a moment. What the hell is Jamaa doing? He shrugged.
"Jamaa'll bash Goma later for influencing his mind games to Jamaa." with that said he turned and headed back to the pack.
"Oh....Jamaa should really apologize the next time Jamaa see her. And hopefully Temari doesn't kill Jamaa." he stopped. He contemplated what he just done and what would happen if Yuka told Temari. They were the closest of friends and Temari being his mate.....
"WAIT!" Jamaa quickly reversed and ran after her.

Yakuti stopped as she was far away and looked at him, she barked at him and then shook her head, "No. Leave alone." She seemed really sad and just wanted to find Kiji, and so she turned away from him and kept running.

Jamaa was getting too old for this....okay not really old, but still he was getting tired.
"Oh, come on, I wanted to say I was sorry~!" he called out. He used 'I', he was serious. "Oh come on, Yuka! Slow down!" he called out, as he sprinted after her. The events of late night were still effecting him. If he kept this up any longer, he could very well hurt himself and possibly cripple. Jamaa kept after her, using up as much as energy as he could to catch up to her. If he could not apologize he might lose Temari, he was already on the wrong side of the fence.

"No tease!" She whimpered as she stopped. "No joke! My life." She was waiting for him, looking sad and upset. She wasn't happy at his games or his teasing and she wanted to leave him behind and find Kiji, Temari was no where on her mind.

Jamaa slowly padded up to her and sat himself down, out of breath slightly.
"Alright, alight, I'm sorry for teasing you. I am sorry for playing my games, too. I'm sorry!" he dipped his head. In his family, when one was truely, beyond all doubt sorry they bowed.
In his mind, no matter what he did now, she was going to see Kiji. "Yuka, I am sorry, I really mean it." he apologized again. "Go. Go see Kiji. Go!" he said with a sincere smile. He was happy that she found someone she loved. Heck, maybe someday he'll meet Kiji too. But for now, Jamaa needed some rest. Jamaa sat himself up straight and then bowed his head again for Yuka.
"I promise never to do that again."

Yakuti examined him for a moment, and then stepped forward. She nuzzled him quickly as a thank you and a forgiving gesture and then turned and ran off, looking for the one she loved.
