the life of brian of suburbia!, now that sounds like a good film. I'm not sure whether its a good idea, though a broadway show should attract less trend-whores. A movie will be good if its something creative and challenging and doesnt simply inspire yet more ignorant stupidity from the teenie poseurs.

I hope they don't.... It would give Green day a bad name. Don't bands these days know you can't make a movie until the lead singer dies young, that's just how it works, or it's a sell out, like what Yellie said.

Seeing as the album is a rock opera, I'd ASSUME it'd be just a movie. Telling the story we already know from the album. Whether it'd be a musical, or if American Idiot the album would be it's soundtrack? Who knows.

I think they should make a cameo and sing, but I dunno...I wouldn't want them to star in it. That'd be too weird. xp

So hopefully it's just a normal movie about the story...and not all hyped up and schtuff. I don't want it to be all about Green Day. I want the movie to be a movie. Sure Green Day is creating it, but...they need to stay behind the scenes (in my opinion). I want them to prove anyone who thinks they can't make a good movie wrong. I think they can do it, and make a good movie.
