He ran as fast as he could away from her. "Your just like my mom." he said as he skidded to a halt, his nose an inch from the tree. He fell over, looking at Kalani upsidown. "She likes to run, she's really fast."

Kalani skidded to a stop in front of him and giggled, looking down at Cobin. "You look funny upside down."

Kalani continued laughing but stopped abrubtly, her ears flicking as she listened to the approaching sound. "Oh no!", she cried before bolting behind the tree. "I was never here."
Crimson trotted into view and looked slightly worred. Kalani hadn't returned to the herd grounds for days and he was starting to get worried. The first thing he saw was Cobin and decided to ask the colt if he had seen his daughter. "Excuse me, little one. Have you seen my daughter running around here somewhere. Her name is Kalani."

Cobin shook his head. He hated to be dishonest but he wouldn't tell if Kalani didn't want to be seen. "No sir, im afraid i haven't." He said, putting on what he hoped was a incoent face.

Crimson looked at the colt curiously before spotting a little red tail behind the tree. "You're sure you haven't seen her", he asked giving Cobin a stern look.

Crimson walked around to the other side of the tree and nipped at Kalani's flank. "Stop hiding."
"Eep!" Kalani jumped out from behind the tree and hid behind Cobin.
"Kalani stop it or else you won't be coming back..ever."

Cobin froze at the thought of Kalani never coming back. "P-please let her coem back sir, she's my only friend." He said and looked back at Kalani.

Kalani nodded in agreement to Cobin's statement. "Yes daddy. He's my only friend. I don't have any friends at the grounds."
Crimson snorted and nodded a bit. "Alright. But be good and don't cause any trouble. At least try to come by more often so I know you're alive", he said turning and walking away.

Cobin smiled. "Yay! You get to say." He trotted happily in circles. "So, what do ya wanna do next?"

Kalani got a mischevious grin on her face and tackled Cobin to the ground, sitting on him afterwards. "That", she said giggling.

Cobin laughed and pushed Kalani off of him and sat on her. "Nah, i like this better." He said with a smile.

(Sorry, i have only been able to get on for like three minutes a day sweatdrop )
Cobin laughed again and rolled off of her. "It would take a long time to squish your prettyness." He said and stood up, still laughing.
