I've only got to read one I think, but it was pretty pointless, because I got the book from the school library and they only had one or two out of a series of four. I never pursued it any further. But what I read was interesting, if a little overly female. I prefer the idea of female characters, but they are rarely portrayed as more than magic-users or somewhat girly and wussy, or bratty. I prefer male characters in books because they tend to not be losers. xD

I love her books. She was one of the first novels that I had read and I loved it. After I read the first one of the series I went out and bought all of the others and I even based some of my own characters on the ones in her novels.

Eeeee! Tamora Pierce! *dances* .. Erm. Sorry.
I found her by accident about a year and a half ago and managed to read three of the Protector of the Small books in 24 hours. And I slept in there, honest.
I liked Song of the Lioness, Immortals and the Trickster books, but I absolutely loved Kel. She's easily my favorite character on Tortall (well, Kel, Jonathan and Thayet ... and Raoul. And Neal. And.. I'm done. I think.). She was almost a more rewarding heroine for not having as much magic as the others. Besides, you have to love any girl who can joust and beat the boys.
The Circle Begins was also wonderful, I think I fell in love with Sandry and Briar in each of their first sections. I wasn't as fond of The Circle Opens, it was missing the character interaction of the originals. The Circle Reforged looks like its going to be as good as Begins, I think. I'm definately looking forward to the next book in that series.

Yeah... Tamora Pierce is pretty good. My favorite books are the Trickster books.

The Circle of Magic Quartet, The Trickster series, The Immortal Quartet, The Circle Opens (I only read Briar's/Street Magic and Tris'/Shatterglass), The Will of The Empress and Terrier. The public library I go to doesn't have the Lionness Quartet or the Protector of The Small Quartet.

OMGs I love her books!!! I'm working on reading all of them. So far I've read...let me count...19 of her books so far...no twenty. Some of them numerous times. LOVE THEM!!! But don't ask me to pick my favorite series. heart dramallama heart

i love tamora's books my favorites are the protecter of the small series, but i also cant wait for her becca coper 2ed book to come out.

I love them.Ive read every book she has ever writen.If yo like Tamora Pierce I would suggest Melissa Marr.She writes really good books to.
