Um, when was that? The ending was Aeris and Zach walking out, then after that its the credits, followed by Cloud riding his motocycle out over the country....where is the group that's supposed to be travelling?

What I liked about Final Fantasy 7 most was the lack of Happy Endings. There was a greater depth to the characters and storyline. People died and didn't come back to life, nobody lived happily ever after, there was uncertanty before closure. Isn't that more realistic?

I also believe some people are meant to be alone ... Cloud is one of them. Too many important people died. His mother and Aeris, whom he loved. Tifa scarred Cloud too many times, although he does care for her. Its friendship.

Thats just my opinion though 4laugh

Not meaning to offend anybody or anything, but why in the world do people like Tifa? I respect other people's opinions, but really now!! I have a perfectly good list of reasons why I (and most others as well) hate her. Most of these are about her personality in FF7, not in AC.

1. She leaves a child in charge of a bar that is located in Midgar slums. ....And that's bad on Barret's part, too. Marlene could have been mugged or raped, and this shows that both Tifa and Barret are very irresponsible. (BTW, Barret admits to his irresponsibility, and I like him, so he gets away with it on my part.)

2. When Aeris came with Cloud to save Tifa from Don Corneo, Tifa is rude to both of them. I think this shows Tifa's need to be the center of attention, especially in front of Cloud. And I know I wouldn't be awful to someone who's come to help me!

3. She's a very boring and dull character, and people usually like her only for her looks (especially in this guild!!!). She never really does anything eventful, either.

4. Her overall presence just irks me. (why is her chest so huge?)

5. She makes herself out to be Cloud's best childhood friend, but she wasn't really friends with him until all the other boys were gone from Nibelheim. She and her friends were never nice to Cloud when he really needed friends. This shows that Tifa is dillusional.

6. Okay, Beat rush takes only 30 hp from an enemy..? And what the hell do dolphins have to do with Tifa?! I mean, her hair does look like the tail fin of a fish at the end of it..but..

7. Her attire of clothing. Rikku pulls it off. Tifa doesn't.

1. What were they to do? Take the little girl into battle with them? Id rather leave her home in a neighborhood with all the people I know and am freinds with than bring a child into the heart of a nuclear powered reactor when my intention is to blow it up with guarenteed resistance to the entire plot.

2. How is Tifa rude to them? She was doing a job and it appeared that Aeris was more rude than Tifa. Some of her first words to Tifa were an inference to them being together. She also guilted Cloud into letting her continue with them, using Tifa as an excuse. I find that to be a little more rude than Tifa talking rationally and actually being concerned for what happened to Cloud after his fall.

3. Tifa is a dull character who does nothing eventful. Hmm...so being the whole reason Cloud went to join SOLDIER and much later saving him from losing himself completely didnt matter at all? Wow.

4. Some girls develop more than others. Simple answer really. That and she was designed, not raised from a child. She was a created person from a Japanese man mind, so he can do with her what he pleases.

5. Tifa may not have showed it to Cloud, but she did care about him even then. He was he only one that truly cared about her and it took a catastrophic event after her mothers death for her to realise it.

6. If a character doesnt perform, its not its fault. Its the player who underdevelops characters and cant effectively use items and equipment along with materia configurations to best use said characters.

7. Tifa pulls off a short shirt with shorts just fine. I find Aeris' attire to be more unfitting. A long dress with a shortcoat over it and big brown boots? How is that better than what Tifa is wearing.

saw some talk on the first page about cloud and aeris.

I am not sure if any of you know this.. but when they first started plotting out the FF7 game. the very first two characters were aeris and sephiroth.. then cloud.. then other people came in to be FILLER characters and supporting development devices... for storytelling purposes and also for the purpose of providing characters with certain abilities for the party system to keep it true to the FF brand style....

If you ever get to see any conceptual FF7 art, most of it is sephiroth, aeris, cloud.. and chocobos.. I can guarantee there aren't conceptual art of cloud and tifa from the start.. i mean. they do leave it open ended.. as it is a rpg. They wanted the fans to have freedom, but if you use that point as an argument. you could also say/point out that you could snub all the girls.. and end up going on a date with red or barret at the golden saucer. So.. i mean.. i think tifa was there for cloud's story development reasons.. she was a factor that kind of.. placed him where he was at the time of the "nibelheim incident".

but then again, you know what... in my personal opinion/fangirl taste. I would rather give cloud to tifa so aeris can go be with sephiroth in some other out of story wild devination. but... even I in all my Aeriseph loving... I freely admit that it really wasn't in the original story. In fact, those two were originally going to be SIBLINGS.. but they decided against it. so that kind of throws this awkward spin on things.. but oh well.

I think Cloud and Tifa being engaged could happen cause in FF7 it shows a few seens were cloud and tifa are talking and if i recall corectly Tifa ses she loves cloud in 1 of those seens but i havent played in a while so i could be rong.

I love the idea a lot of you have that if you live with someone you must be in a romantic relationship. *looks at her three housemates* ew! *thinks back to living with seven other people* oh gods, now I have to go wash my brain out...
